The Suspicious Gift

Axel remembered all his bad words towards the older brother. Trembling, he stepped up and met Clara in her room.

"Tok, tock, tock."

Axel knocked on the door of her mother's room. Ferdi thinks it's Anzel. Then he opened the door and how surprised he found Axel who had broken tears.

"Axel?" ferdi said as he watched the boy.

Axel kept quiet and kept crying. Ferdi then turned to look at Clara who was currently just coming out of the bathroom.

Clara approached and found the youngest son looking chaotic. Axel then raised and showed the adoption letter in his hand. Clara was shocked, and so was Ferdi.

"Why aren't you mom's kids, papa?" ask her later."

Clara seemed to be pursed on her lips, and could not answer anything. At the same time Anzel came down, and watched all of it.

"Why brother Ar is not the son of mama and papa, why should he be someone else's child" he said more sobbing."

Ferdi pulled and hugged the boy, while Clara just bowed in. Axel was crying in the arms of his stepfather.

"I was angry then."

Anzel nodded and as a child Axel turned his head while wiping his tears with his hands.

"Bang Arvel has known for a long time that he is not the biological child in this family" said the teenager again. This time he approached Axel as well as his parents.

"Lo has hurt him and mama is not good for your actions" he added.

Axel cried and Ferdi hugged the boy again.

A few moments passed, there was a knock on the door of the room. Arvel who just finished taking a shower then approached.

Just like Ferdi before, he thought the knock was from Anzel. He only wants to interact with his second sister, and has not been able to do the same with other family members. Because his heart still feels so sad.

"Kreeks."

Arvel opens the door, but what he expected turns out to be missed. The one standing before him now was not Anzel, but Axel. Axel himself had stopped crying, but his eyes were now puffy.

Arvel watched Axel in silence.

So Arvel turned around and came closer and hugged his sister. Axel's cry finally broke. Clara, Ferdi, and Anzel arrive from one direction.

Axel is sobbing. Clara was unable to hold back her tears. The woman is also now crying and Ferdi is trying to calm down.

Arvel let go of his embrace and wiped away the tears. For he also has no power to endure crying.

"Gue's not going anywhere" he said later.

Axel smiled, then they hugged back.

That night Arvel was accompanied by Clara until she fell asleep. Ferdi visited the room and opened the door. Clara put an index finger on her lips, so Ferdi would not make a sound.

Before long the woman covered Arvel and kissed her forehead gently. After turning off the lights, he went out with Ferdi.

"So Axel's been sleeping?" clara asked her husband. Because Ferdi was there to accompany and advise Axel.
