Forced to Marry a Vegetative Man

Forced to Marry a Vegetative Man
chapter 30

Bruk! A man is seen running fast in the middle of slippery land that is still wet due to heavy rain. The man ran over the algal ridge so many times he fell to the ground in panic.

Yes, it seems that the man was running away from people and kept trying to hide behind the trees. The big tree trunks on the island make the man more easily escape.

"Wait for you, Abigail! I'll be back!" muttered the man who was none other than Evan, Raiden's exiled cousin.

The man seemed to have managed to escape from the building that had locked himself away all this time. In the middle of the night accompanied by rain, Evan tried to escape from the small island where he was exiled by Rafael's grandfather.

"It seems like I saw something in the middle of the forest," said a guard who felt as if he saw a shadow figure passing through the trees.

"It's just your feelings!" the other guards did not pester and did not expect that the visible shadow was their prisoner who had escaped.

With a limp step, Evan attempts to return to the city and find a way to leave the island as soon as possible before the guards realize his disappearance. "I have to leave this fucking island!" furious Evan.

The next day, the guards at the detention house where Evan was locked began their usual activities. "Take this food! It's time for breakfast" said the waiter in charge of cooking food for Evan.

Shortly after, a servant shouted loudly as he looked at Evan who had disappeared somewhere. The guards began to gather to check Evan's locked room, which was empty, without Evan there.

"What are you guys doing? Why did the prisoner escape?" the guards blamed each other.

"I wasn't on duty last night! Why am I the only one to blame?" reply to another guard who did not accept.

The house where Evan was detained was boisterous with the voices of those who were trying to find Evan's tracks. "Quick check the entire island! Now too!"

Several guards began to search for Evan around the house and investigate how Evan could escape leaving the heavily guarded detention house. It took a long time for Evan to escape the building that had strangled his freedom.

While the people in the building were trying to find Evan, Evan himself was almost at the town where the RA mansion was located. Yeah, where else would the man go if not to bother Abigail back.

Especially after he was exiled as a punishment for trying to harass Abigail, the man returned with a pile of grudges that had been rooted in his heart. Evan painstakingly hitch a ride here and there to be able to return to the city where he lived before.

"Abigail .. I've come! I have arrived!" muttered Evan while showing a sly smile filled with bad tactics.

The man immediately looked for new clothes and covered his body and face to hide from those who were now looking for him. Like a fugitive who tries to hide from the police, Evan must cover his face tightly and cannot be free to enjoy the fresh air he breathes.

The man's thoughts were already filled with Abigail and plans to reunite with Abigail, whom he had longed for. "Abigail, how are you doing now? You must miss me" muttered Evan like a psychopath who would chase the target until he could.

"Be careful at home, I'll be home early" Raiden told his wife in the morning before the man left for work.

Abigail threw a sweet smile at her husband while waving at the man she loved so much. "Be careful on the road. No need to rush home. I'll cook you a nice dinner" Abigail said.

Abigail continued to show a bright smile until the vehicle Raiden was carrying disappeared. The woman did not realize that there was someone watching her from a distance and saw the happy face of Abigail along with Raiden.

"You happy, Abigail? You happy?" evan growled to see the happiness of Raiden and Abigail above her suffering in exile.

"Don't expect you to show Raiden that smile again!" muttered Evan.

Feeling like someone was watching, Abigail rushed into the house with a sense of uneasiness while continuing to stare towards the mansion fence. "May I ask you something for help?" abigail said to the housekeeper.

"Sure, Mistress!"

"Please check the CCTV around the mansion. I've been feeling anxious since then" asked Abigail.

The waiter rushes to contact the mansion's security officers and requests that the entire area of the mansion be monitored closely. Abigail also requested a report if suspicious strangers were found in the vicinity of the mansion.

"We didn't find anything suspicious, ma'am! We'll tighten security!"

"Is it just my feeling?" muttered Abigail who suddenly fretted after being left for work by her husband.

After escaping from where he was being held, Evan became more and more shrewd and dared to watch Abigail up close, although the man did not dare to infiltrate the mansion.

While Evan had started wandering in the area of the mansion, the news of the man's escape began to spread until finally reaching Grandpa Rafael's ears. "What's? Evan escaped? How come?" grandpa Rafael's nagging at the subordinates assigned to supervise Evan in exile.

"It looks like Mr. Evan escaped at night by breaking through the windows bit by bit, sir. When we checked, we thought the thing lying on the bed was Mr. Evan. But it turned out to be just a trick to keep us off guard" explained the guard who gave the report to Grandpa Rafael.

Yes, they had fooled Evan's plan of piling pillows and clothes on the bed, then covering them with a blanket, just like someone lying down. Anyone who saw would also think that it was Evan who was asleep.

Not only that, Evan also covered the windows that he broke down little by little. And right behind that window, there was a tree that covered the wall. So that from the outside it does not look too clear if the window in the room where Evan was locked was large enough to make Evan escape.

"Find Evan immediately! To tighten security so Evan doesn't mess up that boy's back in town!" grandpa Rafael gave instructions to his subordinates.

"Good, Sir."

"Evan, just be careful if you dare to act again!" furious Grandpa Rafael.
