This morning, the atmosphere in the Russell Family residence seemed peaceful and there was no commotion. Abigail was enjoying the atmosphere in a small garden beside the house. He can do it because Raiden's still sleeping. However, the activity does not last long as Raize informs him that Raiden has awakened.
Abigail walked in and passed through a door to Rafael's study. Unintentionally, Abigail hears the faint voice of Yudith and Laos in there. His curiosity was so high that Abigail stopped her steps and eavesdropped.
“Our plan is almost successful. I was so upset when I found out he didn't die in that accident!” Yudith's voice made Abigail shut her mouth.
Abigail had to know such a terrible reality. There, he hears all the plans and what happened to Raiden. Apparently, Yudith and Laos were the masterminds of the fateful accident. The current condition of Raiden's body is their doing.
Whatisthis? Why should I listen to everything? Inner Abigail.
The woman looked silent until Yudith decided to go out of the room. Abigail's body moved towards the stairs and returned to Raiden's room.
“Nona, why are you running?” asked Raize who just came out of that room.
“I'm just in a hurry, I'm afraid Raiden needs something. What about Raiden?”
“Master has just finished cleaning his body, now is waiting for your arrival.”
“Alright, thank you. Sorry to bother you, Raize.”
The Raiden bodyguard smiled, and then someone had a different attitude from some people in the house. Abigail has a warm personality if she gets to know him well.
Inside the room, Abigail looked at Raiden who was now glancing at her. Abigail's usually irritated face, turned attentive. Unlike usual, if every day Abigail would grumble and mourn the fate of her husband, this time Abigail was very sweet and kind to her husband.
“Raiden, sorry for my attitude a few days ago. Even since being here, I have always cursed and cursed my unlucky fate here. This time, I will do it right, I hope you do not hold a grudge against me because of the annoying attitude I have.” Abigail's words made Raiden squint.
Abigail smiled and suddenly touched her husband's face gently.
“I will take care of you and take care of you until you no longer need me,” Abigail added.
Raiden increasingly did not understand Abigail's words, what happened actually to the wife, so he could say that. His body that could not move made him quite upset.
This Abigail sat beside Raiden, attentively observing the medicines given to Raiden. Abigail wanted to make sure that the medicine she was given was appropriate.
“Raize, who gave these drugs to Raiden?” Abigail walked towards the door of the room and called out to Raize.
“Of course a doctor, Miss. What's up?” The man immediately approached Abigail and replied.
“Uhm, that doctor, were they ordered directly by Grandpa Rafael?”
“Of course.”
“Alright, thanks for the information.”
Abigail returned to the room to put the drugs down and remembered the name of the medicine.
“Do you want me to read this book?” ask Abigail while showing a book with a mystery genre.
Raiden blinked his eyes twice, and Abigail sat down and read the back of the book.
“Ah, this is a murder mystery story. It seems interesting, but I've always been afraid of mysteries that feel real. All right, we start, you have to listen well.”
After reading up to a chapter, Abigail stopped. Now he tells Raiden to rest so he can listen to the next story when he wakes up.
Abigail walked out of the room, seeing Yudith sitting in the lounge, writhing on the cell phone in her hand. The middle-aged woman looked very seriously staring at the news that had appeared.
“Tante, can I ask you something?” abigail asked, now standing in front of Yudith.
“There are no questions I want to answer from you. Go!”
Abigail did not give up and asked questions again.
“Can Auntie tell me why Raiden is in such a state?”
The question managed to make Yudith look at him sharply. He placed the phone on the table, then linked it to the two hands on his thigh.
“You better not know about anything in this house. You do not have the right to know the personal problems of this family.”
“Really? But ... I am currently part of this family as well. I'm the wife of Raiden, I deserve to know what happened to my husband.”
Yudith stood up and grabbed her phone. He stepped closer to Abigail and as his steps came to a halt a sentence was spoken.
“You better be quiet and know nothing. Or ... you want to see your family in trouble, hum?”
Yudith's threat made Abigail speechless. The middle-aged woman was indeed full of evil plans according to Abigail.
Not wanting to prolong the affair, Abigail returned to her room and accompanied her husband. He lay beside Raiden with his eyes open and full of question marks in his mind.
“Raiden, if they're bad to you, what about grandpa? Nah! Grandpa must be the only person who loves you here, right. Yeah, I hope it's like that. I was really surprised by what happened in this house. But, I also experienced it out there.”
Abigail tells the story of her life before becoming Raiden's wife.
“Do you know? Out there so hard, I've even survived to this stage all by myself. Yeah, I know, I'm great. Maybe, if you realize later, surely you will hit me for bragging. Out there, it's like I don't have anyone, not even .. My own father is not on my side. He let me go to marry you, never mind! I don't want to remember. I thought when I got here, there would be a change, cih! Everyone actually has a much crueler nature than the people I met so far.”
The story made Abigail a little relieved, like finding a figure who could listen to her and would keep the story a secret.
“Do you know again? I'm sorry if I told you about my horrible life. I hope you don't feel sorry for me. My dream is to own my own company, marry the man I love, have a family that loves each other. Honey, things are not going as expected. It's not that I'm not happy with you, I just feel there's injustice here. I'm trying to accept it, accept you, and live my life here with you. Of course you and grandpa.”
