The impatient Badrun jumped down from his horse and ran after Sembada.

But to his surprise, a large enough snake coiled in the middle of the bed, it was jet black and its head was horned. Meanwhile, on the ceiling several body figures hung. His eyes widened and his tongue stretched out, their skin deathly pale.

Badrun did not answer, standing still while his eyes were fixed on human bodies hanging from the ceiling of the room. Making Sembada curious and finally he turned his eyes towards the direction Badrun saw. The big black snake was still motionless.

"Jeez.." said Sembada.

"Don't the villagers who live in other huts also suffer the same fate, just look at the snake's stomach" Badrun said with a trembling voice.

"Well, let's check it out" said Sembada and then turned to Borhan and the others, "You guys. Please check the other huts, hurry up !"

Borhan and the others jumped down, they immediately broke down the doors of the hut and... what they found were corpses whose limbs were no longer intact the fishy smell faded out and filled the vicinity of the place.

"Did the whole village experience the same thing ?" ask Borhan.

"That's what's important we have to get out of this place immediately" asked Sembada.

"Then what about that giant snake ?" ask Badrun.

The snake hissed on its neck moved up and down and as it opened its mouth, a white liquid gushed out and shot towards Sembada and his companions.

The spray of acidic liquid hit the empty space, the stench made them close to life and their pair of eyes could see thin smoke coming out from the former bursts.

Seeing his attack fail the giant snake meandered while hissing, shortly afterwards he slapped his tail in the direction where Sembada and the others were. However, the attack again failed to hit the horse carriage where Yuangga's body was laid.
