Chapter XXII - (Curse ) The Spirit of the Residents of the Angker House - Chapter Seven

Mak Bolot turned his attention towards the courtyard of the house, his pair of glaring eyes staring blankly and his mouth open, telling what had happened a few years ago.

‘The woman in the photo is named : Feni. A beautiful, charming, cheerful and energetic woman. She is the second daughter of IBRAHIM and ASTUTI, a perfect and harmonious couple in the eyes of the one who looks at her. However, behind it all, they are people of strange character, household chaos always colors his days.

After his brother got married, Ibrahim went abroad, leaving his wife and children, rarely going home to visit the family and only sending money for the family's living expenses, although sometimes it was not enough. Inevitably, Astuti had to work alone and assisted by the little Feni, while Leni's brother also rarely visited or helped her mother's finances, even though married to a rich man.

So much pressure to live and have to bear 3 children plus grandchildren entrusted by Leni after divorced her husband, Astuti frustrated, depressed and severe stress.

All sorts of feelings were mixed into one within her; Astuti, who was once a gentle, caring and loving woman, became angry, irritable, and out of control. To vent his feelings, it was Feni who was the target of his emotional overflow. Astuti slaps, punches and tortures Feni in various ways. Slowly but surely, Feni was experiencing an inner-birth pressure.

Ironically, no one knows of Feni's death other than Mak Bolot who has been close to Feni. The Feni family seemed to care less about his life and the one who buried his body was Mak Bolot.

7 Days after Feni's death, his grave was as if he had been disassembled and his body disappeared. Roni, Feni's fourth sister suddenly suffers from a strange illness; Vina, Feni's second sister becomes a prostitute. Fortunately Ibrahim who little know martial arts can quickly master the situation. He realized that something was wrong in Astuti, so he decided to include Astuti in the Soul Hospital and sell the house that holds the bloody tragedy.

Although the house was sold at a cheap price, but, no one intended to live or own it.

The house was abandoned. Mak Bolot, who has long worked as a maid there, became fond of leaving the house abandoned because the owner ignored. So, decide to buy, keep and maintain it for life.

After Mak Bolot became the sole owner of the house, then many people glanced at him. Some try to rent or buy it, however, all its residents can not last long, because they often always experience strange and terrible events. One of the strangest events they most often experience is .. the appearance of a mysterious woman in white, hairy shoulders suddenly on the face of each occupant.

The woman did not have a pair of eye seeds on her petals, and one of the former residents of the house was ABIGAIL.

The fate of the Abigail family is almost similar to the Feni family. When Abigail and her father left the house, they had a fatal accident that left REZA, Abigail's father dead on the spot and Abigail dying and losing almost all of her memories of the house. Who would have thought, Abigail returned to the house after 10 years of the accident and her memory of the haunted house has not returned fully; meanwhile, the, THE CURSE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE HAUNTED HOUSE, which is none other than the spirit of Miss Feni, has not been broken. Mak Bolot ended his story by chuckling gruesomely’.

Fred lowered his head, little by little the mystery about the haunted house began to unfold. However, he still did not understand Farid's disappearance and Liza's sudden attitude turned wild. Mak Bolot only said one word, one word it was : “TUMBAL”.

“Then, what should we do to face the Spirit of Feni, Mak ?” ask Fred.

Mak Bolot slammed his stick on the floor, after a long sigh he said, “Dad Abigail found Miss Feni's skeleton in the basement, get him out of there and bury the skeleton in a cemetery not far from here. After burying the skeleton, he and Abigail left the house, intending to escape the curse. However, having a fatal accident, along with that the tomb of the new Miss Feni, damaged and her body disappeared again .. as long as it happens, do not expect the curse to end ... and during that time also the spirit of Miss Feni will never stop spreading terror and asking for victims,”

After Mak Bolot , put a photo of Feni into his place, back he said, this time his tone sounded more threatening, “Remember ! The spirit of Miss Feni is an expression of loneliness, anger, hate, revenge, despair and so forth that is not exposed. If you wrongly treat the body, for the rest of your life, do not expect to be calm and it is a disaster for everyone in the world ! keep this all right ! And if you do not believe my words like your friend, HANZEL .. you can try it.. And I will not be responsible for what happened to you guys !” after saying so, Mak Bolot laughed strangely and left the room, while Fred and the others looked at each other.

Hanzel and Robert seemed to have grown impatient and tired of waiting for the arrival of Fred and the others. They walked back and forth grumbling on the porch of the house, they began to worry and worry until they did not know something bad and strange was going on in room no. 2 where Liza and Yohana rest.

Smelled a foul scent near the faces of Yohana and Liza, a stinging stench, their ears slurped at the sound of a woman's laughter. Liza opened her eyes, what she saw, made her cry hysterically. Right near her face, there appeared the face of a long-haired, black and tangled woman drooping, her pair of pale-white eyelids, no seeds of eyes as if staring at Liza's face, the stinging smell made his stomach nauseous and as if his entire stomach was about to spill out.

Liza's scream woke Yohana, she was shocked to see Liza's condition. “Liza, what's up?!” yohana's cry did not get an answer, Liza's cry was even louder, following which the blanket cloth that covered Liza's body stuck out and tied Liza's neck tightly, after that her body slammed on the floor of the room and like someone was pulling her out, Liza made a revolt with her hands trying to untie the ties that wrapped around her neck.

Yohana shouted for help, no one heard her screams because the room was a soundproof room while it was a distance away from the terrace. Inevitably, Yohana tried hard to ignore the pain in her calves and neck by crawling towards the door and shouting loudly. This effort paid off, Hanzel and Robert immediately ran over to Yohana, “What's up, Yoh ?!” hanzel asked while guiding Yohana to wake up. “Liza like attacked by something strange,” replied Yohana. Robert immediately went into the room but did not find Liza, “Where is Liza ?”

Just as Yohana was about to reply, there was a noise on the 2nd floor. Without waiting for long, they immediately went up to the second floor. When he arrived on the second floor, there was a figure thrashing in the air, he was Liza. The cloth wrapped around Liza's neck, pulling Liza to the ceiling, Liza was still trying to remove the cloth that tied her neck in a half-desperate motion. Hanzel immediately holds Liza's body, “Hold, I'll help you !” After saying so, he turned his head towards Robert, ”Let him down !”

Robert immediately worked quickly, his hands movingly cutting the cloth that tied Liza's neck. Liza managed to be saved even though her face had started turning blue, but, suddenly Yohana was screaming, something was pulling her legs and it was coming from the direction of the hole where Abigail and Gembul were mired.

Hurriedly everyone grabbed Yohana's hand and with great difficulty finally, Yohana was saved and kept her away from the hole. They fell on their feet with breaths, while Liza's face was pale as she looked at the shadowy figure of a bleached woman, long black hair and tangles standing not far behind Yohana, the woman stared intently at him, the next second the shadow entered the hole with a strange movement.

“Finely, we immediately leave this place, for some reason I don't feel very good,” said Hanzel who suddenly felt his hair standing up. Without saying anything more, everyone rushed to leave the place. The door closed, the atmosphere became quiet again. There was the strange laughter of a woman who seemed to fill the room. Reza's family photo, hanging from the wall, suddenly fell and from the ceiling of the middle room on a wooden peg of the roof, a figure sagged down and hung in the middle of the air.

Hanzel and Robert as well as the others, were sitting in the living room; while Liza and Yohana were explaining what they experienced a few hours ago. As soon as he finished telling the story, Hanzel stood up and said, “Isu about the awesomeness of this house turned out not to be mere bird news. At first I did not believe it, but, after experiencing it myself, I felt guilty for dragging you on events that were unacceptable to common sense and even endangering your soul. I'm really sorry,”

“Already, there is no point in regretting ourselves, we absolutely do not expect there to be an incident like this. This is all beyond our expectations,” said Robert, “Fred has long left us, should we look for it,”.

Hanzel glanced at his watch, it was almost 22:00 AM local time, “According to Fred, Abigail and Gembul were mired into the hole, not clearly alive. Farid disappeared all of a sudden; neither Andre nor Ryan had returned, nor could we have split up looking for them. In a precarious situation like this, we have to stay together. But ... “ his speech was interrupted, suddenly he remembered Ratna who had not seen the trunk of his nose since, “Where is Ratna ? Do you guys know where he is?”

Everyone was as if woken up, hurriedly they immediately left the middle room while clamoring for Ratna. There was no answer, their return was bewildered, anxiety reflected on each other's faces. The entire room and every corner of the house were smashed apart, however, Ratna seemed to be lost to the earth. “Try you guys call his phone, didn't he always carry his phone with him wherever he went,” Robert proposed. Almost everyone took out their phones, some called Fred, some called Abigail and some called Ratna, but there was no signal at all. For the umpteenth time, they checked the whole room and every corner, it was a busy and chaotic night, until finally Robert found Ratna's body lying helplessly in the grass in the backyard of the house, he hurriedly took her inside.

Robert's arrival was immediately greeted with an angry swearing of Hanzel, “Ratna Fainted ! How did this happen ?! Motherfucker, this house really frustrates me !”

“You need not be angry like that, all these events are beyond our expectations.” said Robert. The bell on the wall clock, clanging 12 times, had no sign of Fred and his friends returning. After the strange incident, Robert and Hanzel divide the task to take turns, while Liza, Yohana sleeps on the floor with a mat. While Ratna who was still unconscious from her stupor, was laid on the sofa. That night who got the first guard duty was Robert, he stood guard on the porch of the house, his mind glared far into space when it was illuminated by the full moon whose shape was still not perfect. However, its rays illuminate almost every corner of the yard overgrown with a variety of dense plants. Thin fog began to creep down from behind the back of the mountains that surround the house, making Robert have to raise his collar to cover the nape of the neck, making Robert have to raise his collar, the sudden shaking when hearing the sound of a night bird right on the roof of the house, sounds terrible.

Inside the central room, the image swayed and underwent a change in focus by itself for 30 seconds, after recording a strange phenomenon. There was the sound of a woman's strange laughter, an ectoplasm that formed the body figure of a long-haired woman, hovering in the air and surrounding the sofa on which Hanzel and the others were lying. The movement was so slow, after flying around 3 times, the ectoplasm flew towards the 2nd floor and then disappeared. (recorded at 00:25:25 WIB).

10 Minutes later Liza woke up, standing with an empty eye, standing while staring around the room, standing for quite a while and with a strange step towards the dining room next up the stairs. Arriving at the door, the door opened and Liza stepped inside after it did not appear again.

When the wall clock shows at 01:30:45 WIB, the power goes out. There was a sound of broken glass and noise in room 1. The sound woke Hanzel and the others. The situation was pitch black, confusing them.

Hanzel reached into his pocket and took out his HP, thanks to the flame on his hp LCD, then he stepped into room 1, ABIGAIL and FRED Room, while the others followed behind.

“Fred, Abi are you guys inside ?” call Hanzel while banging on the bedroom door. There was no answer, because there was no answer finally Hanzel broke down the door and burst in followed by his friends. What they found inside, made them stumble .. The whole room was as messy as it was being torn apart by people, the bed was torn here and there and dirty, the glass of the dressing table broke apart, messy, and the photos of Fred and Abigail hanging on the wall were falling and the glass was smashed to pieces, strewn across the floor.

Hanzel grabbed the flashlight lying on the floor, after the flashlight lit up, then the room was a little brighter, he examined every corner of the room carefully. Suddenly, Hanzel saw a woman with hair and white clothes standing by the window curtain, to the right of the bed. However, after the flashlight was directed to where the woman was standing, the shadow of the woman disappeared. “Do you guys also see it ?” hanzel asked Robert and Yohana and Ratna who were there at the time, either since when he was aware of his stupor, while his eyes looked like a confused person.

“What do you mean ?” ask Robert.

“I swear, I saw a woman standing there,” Hanzel said as she shone her flashlight towards where she was standing. “In addition to the whole messy room, we see nothing more,” said Yohana. Hanzel shines his flashlight towards Yohana, Ratna and Robert, “Lho... Where is Liza ?” tanyanya.

Both Robert, Johana and Ratna realized that Liza was not with them. Without saying much more, they immediately looked for Liza everywhere, every corner of the room except the 2nd floor. They had already traumatized entering the room of the 2nd floor after the incident that almost harmed him. At that moment, the electricity was back on, they could faintly breathe a sigh of relief. At first when the lights went out, their motion was limited, but, after the electricity returned, they immediately expanded the location of the search, this time they ventured to check the 2nd floor. As soon as he reached the doorway, Hanzel paused for a moment and said, “Whatever happens, we should not be separated, yes.”.

After that his hand grabbed the doorknob and turned it around, the door opened slowly and from inside smelled a stinging foul scent, hurriedly they immediately covered his nose and mouth with a cloth to then open the door wide and stepped inside. The stench grew sharp and the cloth covering their noses and mouths could no longer hold the scent.

When the lights were turned on, Yohana and Ratna cried out hysterically almost at the same time, while, Hanzel and Robert widened their eyes at the sight that was plastered before him. 2 body figures hung right in the middle of the room, his neck was tied to a rope attached to wooden stakes supporting the roof of the house.2 the body figure was immediately recognizable by Robert and the others.

Farid and Liza, Farid's body is rotting away. Meanwhile, the condition of Liza's corpse was even more terrible: her skin was pale as paper, her eyes wide wide open, painting curiosity as well as pain, a life-and-death struggle, but, there was no longer any light of life there, either, but it was empty, and part of its tongue stuck out. A sight, one that they might not be able to forget for a lifetime.
