Chapter 1 The Condition of Chi Xia's House

My name is Chi Xia, born in a family that has many flaws. Even to eat rice we are not there, not only rice but other foods are also like that. For example meat, wheat, even clear water we can not get it.

Our side dishes are only grass and leaf stews, our twelve drinks of water that there is a gutter.

Even we finished the shower smelling of the gutter, but we never complained at all about our lives here.

After our meal we went straight to bed at night, our mattress was made of piles of soil, our blankets and pillows were made of banana leaves.

The clothes we dress are just people who have thrown away their clothes.

Our house is like a cottage, the roof of our house is made of coconut leaves in piles and made into the roof of the house.

Every process of making a house using wood, while we are made of banana stems so that it can be sturdy and not easily collapsed.

When it rains everyone uses an umbrella but, we use banana leaves as an umbrella.

We could only feel the freshness of the clear water when it rained very hard.

Usually we if it is like that we rush to find a bucket and hold rain water, we look for a lot of buckets so we can get a lot of fresh and cold rain water.

Even I can quietly leave when mom and dad are not home and go away from home

I quietly left home to find a job as a waiter, but it was not realized.

Because I was a child so many of the villagers laughed at me and the children in the village also mocked me as a "Rubby Buffalo", because my body was filled with the smell of very dirty sewer water and the smell of it.

But I can only smile and accept the truth.

I was so confused because I didn't know where else to find work, everyone refused me to work because I was small and useless.

One day I saw an army from the kingdom.

Some of the troops were carrying 2 horse carriages, everyone was very excited to see that the royal family came to the countryside.

Everyone was excited when they saw the queen, the king, and the prince coming down from his chariot.

The teenagers hoped that if their son's prince was the same age as them, the prince would be 15 years old.

He and I were only 5 years apart, the soldiers wanted to announce something I wanted to listen to as well but I saw the clock showing that soon my parents would be eating home.

I rushed home. If I don't go home before them, they'll worry about where I am right now.

I went straight home without listening to the announcement from the royal soldier, when I was on the road I saw my old coral soon to be home.

I pretended to look around and look for something. I was finally seen by my parents. They asked me what I was doing there.

"Chi Xia" call from mom

"Yes mom" I answered a call from mom

"What are you doing there, son?" ask mom

"I'm looking for my mother's flower" I replied

"Why are you looking for flowers, son?" ask dad

"Nothing, Chi was just bored at home and thought of picking flowers to get rid of boredom at home" I replied

"Come on, son, we bring you food" replied the father

"really?" I replied with a happy expression

"It's true, son" replied the mother

"I'll be in mom soon, dad. You guys go first I want to pick the flowers first" I replied

"Okay, son, remember not for long" replied the father

"Yes dad" I replied

The two of them then walked into the house and I could finally breathe a sigh of relief if they didn't know that I was leaving the house.

However, the announcement still occurred to me, I was eager to listen to the announcement.

But I forgot about the announcement and focused on finding flowers to get rid of the boredom I told my mom and dad.

The announcement was still in my mind, so to find the flowers I was not focused so I passed the most beautiful flowers.

"Geez, I would love to listen to the announcement but can't" I replied in annoyance

I saw a very beautiful flower floating on the water

"What flower is this?" ask me

"It's so beautiful"
