Chapter 4 Finding a Job

In the middle of the night, I want to go to the toilet. As I walked out of the room, I saw my father standing at the door. I went to my father and asked him.

"Dad" I called my dad

"Yes son?"

"What's Dad doing at the door?"

"Dad is waiting for your mother who hasn't come home since"

"Oh well"

I rushed to the toilet because I was so restrained to urinate. After the toilet, I went back to my room and continued to sleep.

The next morning, when I wanted to get out of the house I saw my father asleep at the door.

"Dad, wake up"

"Huh? What's up, son?"

"Dad woke up, now dad moved to dad's bed only. Why did you sleep on the floor?"

"Dad waited for your mother to come home"

"Mom hasn't come home since?"

"Yes, I haven't been home since"

"Where else did you go? Why haven't you come back yet?"

Suddenly someone knocked on our door and looked for us inside. We opened the door and asked him.

"What's wrong?" ask the man in front of me

"Are you Xia's family?" ask a man to us

"Yes this is the Xia family. Why is it, huh?" ask the father about the man

"We found a woman's body, and we saw her necklace with Xia's surname"

"The body of a woman!?" I was shocked to hear it

"Yes, you two can follow me to where I found the body"

"All right" replied my father

We both followed the man who said he found his body. After we got to where he found his body, many villagers came to the place.

The villagers were told to step aside and we were told to come forward to see his body.

"This is it, do you know the body?"

"Try to open the cloth that you covered his face with"

I told them to open the cloth that covered the woman's face. At the moment when it opened me and my father immediately shocked and also cried as hard as he could.

It turned out that the body of the woman who the man said was the body of my mother whose father from last night waited for his presence at home.

I who loved my mother so much immediately cried as hard as I shouted to call my mother to wake up again, because I could not believe that my mother had left us both.

By the time I got home I kept crying in my room, while my father wanted to go to work to endure his sadness again.

Dad said goodbye to work and told me to take care of the house. But I didn't listen to what Dad said. I kept crying because I remembered my mother.

My father left home to work. And I tried to stop crying and forget my mother. If I remember my mother, I will cry again.

In the afternoon, my father came home and sat down at our table. I saw you coming home and preparing tea for you.

I asked my dad why he used to come home so fast every night my dad came home from work.

Dad told me everything that he had been fired from his job because he was late, and at that time there were many orders to them.

Because my father had long come to work to bury my mother's body, all the orders were canceled by the royal man and it made my boss very angry with me.

My father tried to find work all over the village, but no one wanted to accept my father for no apparent reason.

Even the father fired from his job did not get a penny given to his boss for him. Dad was really sad about it.

Dad was resigned and did not know what else to do, but then I told dad let me safely find a job for us to survive.

His first father did not agree with what I was talking about, but over time I persuaded him that he finally gave me permission to work for us to survive.

The next day, I started going to the village to find work but I did not get any work in the village.

I saw a paper announcement on the tree. I read it and it turned out that the brochure was looking for someone to work in the palace.

After seeing the brochure I immediately rushed to the palace to apply for a new job. I'll take the job I get there.

Arriving at the palace, I immediately told the soldiers that I had come to the palace to apply for a job in the palace.

After that I was allowed to enter the palace and meet the great mistress who was looking for someone to work in that palace.

I haven't said a word they immediately accepted me to work at the palace.

"You can work in the palace"

"Yes, remember not to be late. At 7pm you should be here"

I immediately left the palace and rushed home very cheerfully. When I got home I met my dad and told him everything.

After hearing that dad was immediately excited because I had gotten a job in the palace.

Dad asked me get a job at the palace as what? But I don't know because the lady didn't say what I would be in the kingdom.

But I told my father that I might work as a servant in that palace. I will accept everything whatever it is his job.

I went straight into the room while happy because I got a job in the palace without saying a word I was immediately accepted in the palace.
