Ten years ago ....
"Ra, would you like to come watch a basketball game?" whispered Sela to a long-haired girl in two braids. Minus glasses perched on his pointed nose. The gaze of the girl's eyes was straight forward on one thick book was on a long table made of wood.
Sela's invitation from the table next to her made the girl named Aura Larasati look up from her focus on a row of letters that are assembled into a sentence with many paragraphs in one sheet of the book. He shook his head and said, "No, thank you. I'd like to sit here and read the material Mr. Santanu just taught me."
Eva flicked her lips at the reply of her classmate. "Sok being a person. Pak Santanu's course is over and now it's time for us to rest so why do you focus on reading all this material, hem? As soon as you leave, I'm sure you won't feel lost."
"Well, what Eva said was true, Ra. You better come with us now because Garuda basketball club today is playing on the court." Sela nudged Aura's shoulder slowly. "Are you not going to see Abraham playing basketball with his friends?"
Aura glanced at Sela and Eva alternately, then lowered her head and bit her lower lip. He smiled when he imagined Abraham's face. His face was blushing like fresh tomatoes just picked from the plantation.
Sela and Eva glanced at each other and then joined the smile to see the bashful attitude of the cat shown by Aura. The two girls knew very well that the classmate had put his heart on Abraham at first sight.
"How, Ra, would you like to come with us? We need your assurances right now." Sela tried to provoke Aura into coming with her.
Still bending her face down, Aura said, "Yes, I'm coming with you guys. Wait a minute, I tidy up all my luggage first." Then he immediately put the stationery, laptop and hold tightly to the thick book in front of the chest. After that, he caught up with his two classmates who were waiting at the library door.
Upon arrival at the court, Aura crowded among the many people who watched the basketball practice between the Garuda team and the Red and White team. The atmosphere that afternoon was quite crowded, many of the audience was dominated by Eve who deliberately came because they wanted to see for themselves how the skill of the Garuda team basketball chairman when entering the ball into the opposing ring.
"Ra, just sit there, yuk! Instead of standing here, our heads will be the target of basketball." Without waiting for Aura and Sela's answer, Eva pulled her two hands together and sat down on a chair not too far from the playground.
The atmosphere on the field was quite boisterous. The crowd cheers made the players of both teams even more excited. One of the spectators was Aura, a simple-looking girl with bangs covering her forehead dissolved in the atmosphere. He clapped his hands as the players started their game.
"Abraham! Spirit, yes! We support you from here!" shouted one of the English literature students who happened to be building the Faculty of Cultural Sciences not far from the Faculty of Economics.
Abraham managed to snatch the ball from the opposing team. He mendribble the ball that had been mastered by opponents, outwitting with a very epic game technique. Then when there was a chance then he threw the ball until it printed a score of 2-0 with points on the Garuda team.
"Yeah, Abraham is great!" Abraham fans screamed hysterically when they saw their idol successfully donate two numbers to the team.
The game continued until the score was won by Abraham's team. The referee blows the whistle signalling the break so all players leave the arena, sit on a chair while resting for a moment.
Abraham nodded. "All right, Coach Sir. I'll be even more careful when scoring."
"Yes, now you can rest." The coach of the Garuda team invited Abraham and the others to take a short break before starting the match.
Sela thrust a bottle of drinking water to Aura. "Sana, give this water to Brother Abraham. I'm sure he'd be happy to take it."
Aura gasped, but her hand still received the bottle of mineral water. "But what if Abraham refused? I'm afraid I'm not throwing away the water I'm giving you."
Eva snorted annoyedly. "If you keep doubting when Brother Abraham saw you, Ra. Already there, give the bottle of the drink to him!"
Anxious to see Aura who had not moved from her seat, Eva fiercely pushed the classmate so that the girl was on the side of the playing field. The sudden presence of Aura made everyone stare towards the girl.
Cold sweat soaks the back. The palms feel cold because they feel nervous to be noticed in such a way. He wanted to retreat, but the little heart said to keep giving Abraham a bottle of drink.
'You can, Ra!' Then Aura walked confidently in the middle of the field. The girl's heart was racing as she accidentally saw her eyes collide with the owner of the brown iris in front of her.
"What's that girl doing here?" abraham muttered with two eyebrows.
It didn't take long, Aura finally managed to get close to Abraham. Nervous and trembling hands he gave the bottle of drink to his senior brother.
"Sister Abraham, this is for you. After drinking my gift, I hope that Brother's stamina returns as it was before."
Cheers could be heard seeing the scene ahead. Everyone screamed hysterically as Aura became the first girl to successfully give Abraham a drink. The Eve-dominated audience again screamed hysterically when Abraham's burly hands received the gift of a two-headed foreign girl.
Smiling sweetly despite not knowing the girl in front of him. "Thank you, Miss ...."
"Aura Larasati's. Just call me Aura. Good match and may victory always be in the hands of Brother Abraham." Then Aura galloped away leaving Abraham still frozen in place. The heart of the girl is flowery because it can introduce itself directly to the figure of the man who had been the person in charge when the Student Orcrossing period took place a few months ago.
