"Ebelievers! Emmeli!" Kayla panicked to see Emeli close her eyes. The woman looked at Arshaka who was no less shocked by what happened to her daughter. He didn't expect Jeremy to be that cruel, throwing Emeli just like an inanimate object.
Arshaka swiftly checked Emeli's pulse.
"We're taking Miss Emeli to the hospital now, sir!"
Arshaka nodded, taking Emeli's body completely out of Kayla's hands. Half-running while holding the body of his beloved daughter, Arshaka approached his car parked outside the fence.
Kayla runs ahead of Arshaka and opens the car door for Emeli. After Arshaka put Emeli's body on the sofa of the car, then Kayla came in and sat next to him. Arshaka moved to the front sofa and drove his car at high speed to the hospital.
In the back seat Kayla looks anxious, even the woman did not take a second to distract her from Emeli. Emeli's chest became the center of his attention. Fear of his heart stopping beating.
"Doctor, take care of my daughter!" Arshaka ran carrying Emeli's body through the hospital corridor, not caring about almost hitting the family of another patient.
"Why else is he?" It just so happens that they cross paths with the doctor who used to treat Emeli.
"Fainting Doctor, please!" please Arshaka.
"Let's bring it to my room!"
Without saying much Arshaka immediately took Emeli's body to the doctor's room.
Outside Kayla's room without pacing, in her heart unceasingly chanting prayers for Emeli to be given strength and healing.
"How, Doctor?" arshaka asked when she saw the doctor calling the sisters and giving them orders.
"Sorry your daughter needs intensive care, Emeli is critical, we have to take her to the ICU room."
Several nurses were seen pushing the gurney and moving Emeli's body. Arshaka looks sculpted, his mind suddenly blank.
The nurse continued to push the gurney out of the room where Emeli was lying on top of her. The doctor walked behind them.
"Suster what happened to Emeli?" Kayla still looks riled up.
"Don't block our steps, the patient needs faster treatment" the nurse told Kayla to step aside, giving nurses and doctors access to walk. Kayla then followed from behind.
However, his steps came to a halt when Kayla did not see Arshaka's whereabouts. The man should have also walked out of the doctor's office. Kayla runs to the back and checks for Arshaka.
"Master!" Kayla widened her eyes, Arshaka was seen sitting leaning against the half-opened door. The man also fainted.
"Suster please!" kayla yelled at some other nurses running towards her and helping Arshaka to get checked out.
"Argh! what is this ordeal?" Kayla ruffles her own hair, frustrated and confused as to how it is now.
In this city, he knew no one as a friend who might be able to help in such a difficult situation right now. If he had the heart, he could have gone from beside Arshaka and left everything that is now even a burden on him.
After all, Arshaka also allowed Kayla to leave from his side as well as Emeli if Kayla wanted to. However, Kayla's humanity tells her to stay with Arshaka and Emeli.
Arshaka not only fainted, his fever was also high, probably due to lack of rest and his mind was chaotic lately, making him also have to be hospitalized while Emeli was in intensive care. That made Kayla have to go back and forth two rooms. Sometimes he looks after Emeli, sometimes guards and compresses Arshaka.
"Where's emeli?" arshaka asked as she held Kayla's hand compressing her forehead. He just woke up from his stupor after tomorrow.
"Still in the ICU, you heal yourself, sir, for a while don't think about Miss Emeli just yet" Kayla suggested.
Arshaka did not reply, her gaze blankly forward. His eyes implied a sense of tiredness and despair.
"Master eat first!" Kayla takes a feeding ration from the hospital and is about to feed Arshaka.
"I'm not hungry" he refused, stopping Kayla's hand. The spirit of life Arahaka is gone already.
"If you also continue to get sick, Kayla is unable to keep Emeli alone. He needs a strong father figure and I'm sorry I can't be that figure. Emeli needs Mister, he needs a healthy father" Kayla said with her eyeballs that began to glaze over.
Arshaka looked at Kayla, slightly filled with Kayla's sincerity.
"Why are you still standing by our side?" arshaka asked still with a fixed look at Kayla's eyes.
"You are like family to me .. maybe .. because I am a kara." Kayla.
Arshaka smile. "Thank you for everything, thank you for your sincerity in caring for Emeli."
"Together Master and now Master eat yes!" This time Arshaka nodded and accepted as Kayla fed herself.
"Sir Kayla!"
While seriously talking to each other while eating, a nurse called out to Kayla at the door.
"What's the sister?"
"I want to say something, we should talk together," said the nurse who did not want Arshaka to know first with the news he wanted to convey.
Arshaka quickly swallowed his food.
"Is this about Emeli? If so, tell me what's up!"
"Em, emh–"
The nurse hesitates to convey given Arshaka's unlikely circumstances.
"Say what's with my daughter!" press Arshaka with a heavy voice.
"Ennnavis ... Artemis ...."
"What happened to Emeli?!" Kayla started to panic.
"She passed away Mr Ma'am" the nurse replied, running from Arshaka's nursery. Not wanting to see the expressions of the two people inside the room.
"What?!" Both are really shocked. The news of Emeli's death was like lightning striking in the scorching sun. Emeli was critical, but they never thought the boy's fate would end this far.
Arshaka immediately took off the infusion hose in his hand violently and ran out to check on Emeli. Kayla looks weak, even to move it feels unable.
"No way, Emeli can't leave Auntie" raced Kayla. Without being able to hold back her tears shed instantly. How he had interacted with Emeli these past few months was reflected in Kayla's eyes. I can't erase all those memories so easily.
"O Allah, may this be a dream in broad daylight. Wake me from this nightmare, Lord."
While Arshaka immediately approached the doctor who was still trying to normalize the heartbeat of Emeli. The heart shock device had been pressed against Emeli's chest several times, but to no avail. The little girl's breathing and heart rate did not return.
"Sorry Mr. Arshaka, we have tried our best, but God wills another, Emeli–"
"No." Arshaka shook his head a few times. The doctor could only be silent.
"No!" Arshaka screamed hysterically then cried loudly. He was not willing for Emeli to leave himself this fast.
"Master, be patient." The doctor rubbed Arshaka's shaky shoulders.
"Is this real?" kayla asked herself when she heard Arshaka's loud scream.
Seriate.
