Emeli was wide-eyed then closed instantly, her body violently slammed backwards on the wheelchair backrest.
"Emeli, you're okay, right?" Kayla looks panicked. He felt Emeli's body, the boy was completely limp now.
"Please!" kayla cried out in panic when she saw Emeli unmoved, the boy fainted.
People came and checked Emeli's pulse.
"Let's calm Ma'am, he just fainted, let me drive him to the hospital." A man immediately carried Emeli's body towards the car.
"Well, if anything happens to Emeli, I'll kill you!" peek Kayla while pointing at Elena's face so upset.
"Cih, it's not that easy, well, most rat like you who is easily eliminated after all, it's better for him to die than to bother others" said Elena so casually.
Kayla grew furious, the woman pushed Elena's body back until it almost hit the floor. Elena really had no feelings. To Kayla he was like a human demon.
"Basar babu doesn't know himself!" scream Elena.
Kayla wanted to beat Elena, but she remembered Emeli's situation. Then deftly she pushed the wheelchair over to the man who was carrying Emeli.
Luckily the man took the car so Kayla did not have to call an online taxi or call Arshaka first so it took a long time. Kayla was really worried about Emeli.
Emeli was immediately treated by a doctor. Kayla was standing outside the door feeling uneasy. Very afraid of the state of Emeli is severe. What would he say to Arshaka? Kayla squeezed her own hand while trying to neutralize the fear in the heart. He took a few long breaths.
"How's doctor?" kayla asked with a sad face mixed with fear as the doctor opened the door of the examination room and walked towards Kayla who was pacing incoherently.
"Who are you, Emeli?"
"The Doctor's Nanny."
"Where's he?"
"Oh that Doc I haven't called him yet." Kayla even forgot to call Arshaka due to excessive fear and worry.
"Better phone his father, Emeli is currently really anfal. He could no longer sit in his wheelchair. He had to be treated lying on the bed because his muscles could not support his body anymore. He'll also have trouble swallowing food."
"Will Emeli be able to heal Doctor?"
"It could be, but it's a very small possibility."
Deg.
Kayla's heart seemed to stop suddenly.Kayla stood still, her mind was not careless, what if Emeli could not heal?
"But last month Emeli experienced the same thing, but managed to recover, pray that it will still be the same even though opportunities like this are very rare."
The words of this doctor made Kayla not excited. Now it wasn't just Emeli whose muscles were squeezing like Kayla as well. The woman immediately fell to the floor and fainted.
The doctor called the sisters and told them to take care of Kayla while she called Arshaka herself.
Arshaka who just met a businessman frowned when getting a call from a doctor who used to handle Emeli because it was not unusual. Previously the doctor would not call unless Arshaka called first.
"What's the matter, doctor?"
"Emeli's disease is recurring."
The information from the doctor made Arshaka's body tremble immediately. His mind deteriorated instantly.
"What's Shaka?" asked the interlocutor to see Arshaka's face suddenly pale.
"We'll keep talking the other time, my son's in the hospital again."
"Hmm, all right, hopefully get well soon."
Arshaka nodded then got up from his seat and walked out of the office. His body seemed to float, his legs as if they were not treading the ground. Arshaka's spirit of life disappeared instantly. For him Emeli is his life.
Everything he did was for his daughter. If there is no Emeli, he will not fight desperately to restore the state of the company let alone to ignore the state of his daughter until something unwanted like this happens. It should be that today Arshaka accompanied Emeli on a walk rather than having to seek help here and there. Knowing Kayla is new, she won't know what Emeli's disease really looks like.
Arriving in the car, he immediately drove his car to the hospital.
"Ebelievers!" Arshaka ran towards her daughter's bed.
This time Emeli was awake, but helpless to do anything, even answering the call of the father could not. He's like a stroke guy who's hard to move his lips. His saliva dripped like a disable child.
Arshaka hugged her daughter tightly. Her tears dripped unbearably, the events of a month ago repeated themselves. Which makes Arshaka feel sick when he realizes his condition is no longer the same as before where he can bring his daughter to seek treatment here and there, not even just at the doctor, he tried alternative medicine and not just one or two that he went to.
"Where's Kayla?" Arshaka looked in all directions, not seeing the woman.
"Who are you looking for Mr Arshaka?" the nurse asks, realizing that Arshaka is looking for someone.
"My daughter's babysitter Sus."
"Oh, he passed out so we treated him in the next room."
"God, what is this ordeal?" Arshaka had his pain-throbbing temple in his mouth, his head heavy, but he should not be weak and fall.
Arshaka got up and walked to the next room, but Kayla was unconscious.
"What happened to them?" muttered.
A nurse who was crying Kayla recounted the incident at the mall. He gets the story from the man who drove Emeli to the hospital.
"Elena what else does she want? Does he want me dead?" Arshaka clenched his hands, without being told what the woman's name was, Arshaka could already guess.
Arshaka was about to get out, but stopped when he saw Kayla's hand move.
"He was conscious" said the nurse.
Arshaka nodded. Kayla opened her eyes. He looked down and sat down. He looked down when he saw Arshaka in front of him.
"I'm sorry Sir, because I'm Emeli being like this, I've–"
"I already know everything, I'm not going to blame you."
Kayla was wide-eyed, but breathless. Arshaka returned to Emeli's room. Kayla followed behind him.
***
One month Emeli was hospitalized and there was no development at all. Arshaka decides to take her home and take care of her at home. As usual she always took her daughter to alternative medicine.
Kayla still faithfully takes care of Emeli because she already loves the little girl. He also always accompanies when Arshaka takes Emeli to go anywhere.
Arshaka did not expect Kayla to be so painstaking in caring for Emeli, even on her expectations of the woman. Kayla never heard to complain in the least.
"Kayla I want to talk" Arshaka said one night after the two of them made sure Emeli was asleep.
Kayla nodded and the two of them moved out of Emeli's room. Arshaka took Kayla to sit in the living room. Before speaking, the man first let out a long sigh.
"You know, haven't you lately, how the company is doing?"
Kayla nodded.
"And the cost of Emeli's treatment is quite large."
Kayla nodded again.
"Therefore I can't pay you as big as I used to. If you want to resign, please! I'm not gonna keep you here."
"I don't care if I don't get paid though. For me to get shelter from the heat and rain and not starving is more than enough. I don't want to leave Emeli. I don't want to be away from him. To me, she's like my own daughter."
"Kylas." Arshaka's eyes look teary. Kayla is a sincere woman.
Seriate.
