Edgar felt sorry for Sera when Dena slapped him until he fell to the floor, eager to avenge Dena's actions.

But when he saw the cynical face of Dena looking at him, somehow Edgar became unbearable. His lips felt stiff when he wanted to speak.

Those eyes whose gaze was always as sharp as a knife were seen to hold so many wounds there, especially when Lord Winata slapped him so hard that Edgar's chest suddenly felt very tight.

He wanted to protect the woman but things were not possible and a moment of Dena passed away leaving a sense of worry in Edgar's chest.

Then for various reasons Edgar persuaded his father and Sera to leave the event. To hell with their anger, right now all he had in mind was a Dena.

Time and time again Edgar contacted Dena's phone, but it was always out of reach.

"Jun, track Dena's position right now !!" edgar's orders when Juno just arrived that night.

"Did something happen, sir ?" juno asked curiously, because suddenly his boss told him to meet him on the side of the highway like this.

"Don't ask that much." - cynical Edgar.

Seeing Edgar's anger, Juno immediately tracked down the whereabouts of his boss' secretary.

"Dena was at our bar, boss." said Juno then who immediately made Edgar more worried.

Edgar immediately drove his car to a new Bar one year he acquired from a businessman named Yudo.

Yudo is the former boss of Nina in the Bar, the man also had liked Nina and who would have thought it turned out Nina his wife Victor turned out to be a friend of Dena in the past.

Seeing the owner of the Bar came, some bodyguards who were there immediately greeted the presence of the boss.

Edgar circulated his gaze looking for the figure of Dena, his eyes immediately squinted when he saw the woman who had made him so worried it looked helpless in Arhan's arms her ex-husband.

Edgar was suddenly furious, jealousy in his chest could not be contained anymore. He immediately approached the man who seemed to be taking Dena away.

"Dena will come home with me." stressed Edgar when facing Arhan who will step his feet away.

"Boss." said Jem the bartender looked surprised when he saw the owner of the place where he worked suddenly came.

Though previously Edgar rarely set foot here, only Juno was always watching the place.

"Give Dena to me." Edgar orders again as Arhan ignores her.

"Dena's my ex-wife, so I'll take her home." Arhan declined.

"Ck, you're just his past that Dena never expected." Edgar said.

Arhan clenched his hands, but when he saw the several bodyguards surrounding him he was sure that it would only end in vain if he fought him alone.

He was forced to surrender the unconscious Dena to Edgar.

"Remember if Sera hurts her, I swear I will finish you." threatened Arhan, after that he left the Bar.

With a single jolt Edgar brought Dena into his sling, the woman felt so light, that Dena had never eaten properly.

"What's going straight home, sir ?" june asked from behind his wheel.

Edgar seemed to think for a moment. "Turn to my apartment." she ordered later.

Arriving at his apartment, Edgar immediately put Dena on his bed and covered her.

"Juno go to Dena's apartment, tell her family tell her Dena's coming home tomorrow" Edgar ordered when he just came out of his room.

"Okay sir, non Sera contacted me asking where you are" Juno said.

"Let's just say I'm busy." said Edgar.

Juno seemed to be staring at Edgar with so many questions, but he could only nod obediently and after that he immediately left the place.

Then Edgar went back into his room, where he saw that Dena was asleep. He sighed slowly and then passed into the bathroom to clean himself up.

"Ma, my God. Sick Ma. Don't lock Dena Ma, Dena's tight. Dena's afraid of the dark."

Dena seemed to be rummaging in her sleep, Edgar who had just come out of the bathroom rushed to her.

Dena's body suddenly was very cold and trembling. "Please don't be afraid, I'm here." Edgar immediately took the woman into his arms.

"Actually what happened to you, Dena, you're like you've got a lot of wounds" Edgar muttered, hugging the woman.

After Dena calmed back down, Edgar let go of his embrace. In his gaze the face of Dena who looks bruised because of the former slap of Mr. Winata earlier.

Edgar raised his hand then rubbed the slap marks slowly, suddenly his chest felt tight because it failed to protect the woman.

Then Edgar took his wallet which he put on the nightstand, then released a photo which he took two years ago.

There was a naked back of a woman with a burn there.

Encouraged by curiosity, with a plan Edgar revealed the T-shirt in Dena.

The sleeping position of the woman slanted her arms around her, making it easier for Edgar to do that.

Edgar appeared to be squeaking when he saw the burn just like in the picture and there were also some scars almost filling the woman's back.

Edgar who was still curious more and more revealed Dena's clothes, almost all of his body there are many scars. Be it on his back, stomach and chest, except his hands and feet look clean.

"Areally who did this ?" furious Edgar.

"This is ?" Edgar seemed surprised when he saw some sharp object incisions in the area of Dena's wrist even to the back of the woman's hand.

"Dena has also been involved in drugs."

Sera's words immediately flashed on Edgar's head.

Edgar immediately took his phone, then he contacted his assistant.

"Jun, there's a job for you" he said.

After contacting his assistant, Edgar immediately threw himself beside Dena.

"I'm sorry for my stupidity that always denies this feeling."

Edgar seemed to kiss Dena's forehead fondly, then carried the woman into his arms.

"I love you, Dena." muttered Edgar, closing his eyes to embrace the woman.

Meanwhile, Juno, who was on her way to Dena's apartment, seemed to be thinking hard considering the orders of her superiors just a moment ago.

Arriving at the Dena Apartment, Juno several times pressed the bell but no one had opened the door yet.

But he does not give up, Juno finds out his son Dena and his nanny are inside. As per the reports of his men they never came out of the Apartment, only occasionally it appears that middle-aged women come out just to throw garbage.

Almost 20 minutes Juno was there and during that time he pressed the bell.

While Bik Mina who was in the Apartment seemed to be pacing in front of the door, he hesitated to open the door especially when he found out from the camera that came unknown people.

Given that Dena is still outside when the night begins to dissolve, Mina's bik is in a state of worry. Then the middle-aged woman was forced to break her employer's order not to open the door for anyone.

"Sorry sir, who's looking ?" bik Mina asked as she saw Juno standing at her doorstep.

Juno seemed to be sighing heavily. "I just want to let you know that Miss Dena tonight didn't come home because suddenly there was work out of town" he said.

"Okay sir, thank you." said Bik Mina relieved.

"Hm." Juno nodded her head slightly then stepped her feet away, but her steps came to a halt when she heard the voice of a child.

"Ma-ma, Ma-ma." cried Elkan, the little boy who was just walking was looking at Juno.

"Good God, baby, wake up. Let's go bobo again, auntie accompany." said Bik Mina while carrying the child padlock.

"Ma-ma" said Elkan again who seemed to want to ask Juno where his mother was, just that the baby was not good at talking.

"Child, this." muttered Juno gasp.
