GRINNED
CHAPTER 4: The Journey

"We're going to our restaurant, Dinda, Alfath."

"Good sir."

"Behold, wait for Anya not to finish eating." Interruption tiny Anya who is enjoying a small meal.

"Yes dear .... Eat it quietly. We'll wait for it." My answer.

"Boat ammah yes ..hurry."

"Sip ...." He greeted my mouth wide open, eating it voraciously.

"How now, is it full?"

"It has. Thank you, Ammah." she replied cheerfully.

Then he drank slowly. His face looked happy, as his stomach had been filled. Played since morning, making him hungry.

We got up to the parking lot, passing some joglo lined up beautifully, on the right and left side of the road. This can be used as inspiration later in life, in arranging a restaurant.

Mr. Zaidan and brother walked first. While I followed behind him, while holding the hand of the tiny Anya.

"Where is the restaurant." I asked half a whisper to Brother Alfath.

"Near the office." Answer Mr. Zaidan.

Actually that question is for Alfath's brother. But Mr. Zaidan answered. Make yourself shy

"Then just follow, don't ask too many questions!" Said Brother Alfath in a rather high tone, accompanied by a fierce face like a monster. That's scary ....

I don't know why Alfath's brother is being fierce, protective, cold, ugly and annoying.  Makes myself wrong. At home, it is nice and friendly.

"Ammah .. ammah .. if you go don't ask Alfath."

"Why ?"

"Later the ammah is scolded constantly."

Nach ... a child can be judged. Cooking does not feel sich .... My mind rumbles with a thousand words that cannot be expressed.

"Alfath, may I ride in your car this time. I feel so sleepy. I can't drive myself anymore this time?" said Mr. Zaidan.

His eyes were red, withstanding heavy sleepiness.

"May sir, but my car isn't as comfortable as your car." Brother Alfath said shyly. It is better to be frank than later to be a mind or a burden on the heart.

Mr. Zaidan smiled in response to the expression. He seems to be able to understand the condition of his subordinates. He's very humble. Pride and arrogance were far from his personality. He makes no distinction between superiors and subordinates. Think all the same. And one more thing, he's a caring person.

"Please, sir" said Brother Alfath.

He opened the door for her. And let him sit in front with him. Then he went to the other side. Sit quietly behind the wheel.

Shortly after the car was running, Mr. Zaidan continued his sleep, which he had been trying to hold. Next to my brother who was driving quietly. Anya and I sat in the middle seat.

To get rid of boredom, we play guesswork. Sometimes they sing children's songs.  Makes the atmosphere fun, but a little noisy. So not infrequently Brother Alfath must never warn us. In order not to disturb Mr. Zaidan who is sleeping fast.

His name is also a child. There is always something done. His face never left to look out the window. If there is something interesting, he will ask until he is satisfied. Until not infrequently I made hassles to meet his curiosity. He is a smart kid.

After traveling for fifteen minutes, this car stops right in front of a magnificent office building. With a large page. There is a small park on the edge. Enough to shelter. But we could only stay in the car. Don't know what to do. Waiting for Mr. Zaidan to wake up by himself.

"Om, I'm going down!." Anya said shortly afterwards. It feels so bad to be in the car. He saw his tiny hand, trying to open the door of the car, which was still locked. I opened that door.  Together we went out, to the park on the edge of this office yard. Just to get rid of fatigue, which feels during the trip. Leaving behind brother and Mr. Zaidan who are still in a deep sleep.

"Have you arrived...?"

"Yes ..pak."

"Why didn't you wake me?"

"We can't bear it, sir."

"Hemmm...There are you Alfath."

"Where are Anya and Dinda?"

There was no one else in the car but the two of them. He also looks out of the car. He saw Anya sitting under a tree, sheltering from the hot sunlight. Take off tired and enjoy the cool as the wind blows. While Dinda can be seen washing both hands with water on the faucets available in the office garden.

"Alfath ..you call them. I'm going to order some food online first. We'll eat at the restaurant we go to."

"Good, sir."

Brother Alfath waved his right hand, as a gesture of calling, for them to return. But unfortunately, neither Dinda nor Anya saw. Inevitably Alfath walked over, approaching the two to bring them back. And immediately continue the journey.

"Pak Zaidan ..what should not we look for a mosque to pray first. It's almost entering the dhuhur prayer time."

"Okay, let's pray first. To calm down." replied Mr. Zaidan.

After the car was 3 minutes away, we found a beautiful little mosque.  We all go down and head for the mosque. Wudhu place is available for each. Looks clean and well-groomed.

But I did not forget, to take the prayer equipment, which is in the bag in the middle seat. Just in case if inside the mosque does not provide prayer equipment for the travelers. Then, head to the ablution place to be holy. By holding Anya, who seemed happy to follow.

Fresh was felt as the clear water touched and penetrated my skin.  From the face, hands to feet wet with ablution water.  Really soothing.

Apparently Anya is no less sweet, by mimicking all the movements of wudhuku. Although not perfect, but quite good for a child his age. Just a pity, water splashes ablaze about some of his clothes, so it looks all wet. I can only smile too. Soon I get a change of clothes that are always prepared from home, maybe by Mr. Zaidan, or others.

Likewise when we follow the prayer. He did not move from my side, even pray beside me, in an orderly, though incomplete design.

After the prayer, I could not prevent him from running out, impatiently waiting for me to fold the face, towards the front yard of the mosque filled with ornamental plants. When a butterfly flew low, circling the asoka flower, which was red in color, its eyes glanced at it and was tempted to chase after it. Without noticing that his footing was a rough little rock.  His unstable balance eventually slipped and fell.

Hearing her cries I immediately ran out to see what happened to her.

"Have. No need to cry.  Wait for Ammah here. Ammah wants to take the medicine box in the car first." after sitting it quietly on the veranda of the mosque.
