Hanaria's car speed slowed down, when she accidentally saw the housekeeper of Madam Sundayana just got off the taxi in front of an elderly social parlour, she immediately pulled over her car.
"Aunt Narsih!" call Hanaria half-screaming as soon as she gets out of her car.
The middle-aged woman who was called by her name immediately stopped her steps that were about to enter the gate of the parlour, and turned her head towards the arrival of the voice.
"Miss Hana? How did Miss get here?" the old woman asked in astonishment, after confirming correctly that the woman who called her was Hanaria by commenting on her thin smile.
Understandably, aunt Narsih's eyes began to be myopic swallowed by her age that was getting twilight, plus the front body of Hanaria who puffed forward very large because of her pregnancy which was just waiting for time to give birth to her baby.
"So I passed by and accidentally saw Bibi getting off the taxi. What's Aunt doing in this place?" sahut Hanaria asked back while paying attention to some buildings that the old woman would visit.
"I came here to visit Maria's mother, Mr. Aji's wife Nona, she was reportedly sick" explained aunt Narsih.
"If his wife is sick, why didn't Mr. Aji come to see her here" Hanaria asked in surprise.
"Sir Aji is also sick Miss, it has been 4 days since she was unable to get up from her bed." explained aunt Narsih again. Hanaria nodded her head in understanding, she remembered that the gardener was old.
"I can come to visit Mr Aji's wife Bi? Yes, count all acquaintances," said Hanaria asking permission.
"Boleh Miss. But Miss is in a big pregnancy, afraid Miss is exhausted," said aunt Narsih with a worried look.
"It's okay Bi," said Hanaria reviewing her smile while rubbing her big belly.
"Then come, then" said aunt Narsih, both of them entering the gate and approaching the guard post to fill the guest book.
Hanaria again followed Aunt Narsih's steps towards a building that was quite old but looked clean and well maintained. In the building there are many ward rooms that are tightly closed.
In room number 21 Aunt Narsih stopped her steps, and by chance the door was wide open.
"This is Miss Maria's mother's room" said aunt Narsih and greeted her, and two different colors of voices from inside the room greeted aunt Narsih.
A nurse who was checking on Maria's mother's health condition let her in and continued her unfinished examination.
Hanaria came in, she stood in one corner of the room because there was no chair there to sit on. He noticed the condition of the room was quite narrow, there was only 1 bed, one wardrobe made of wood, and there was only one bed, 1 small table and on it there are 1 worn frame with a piece of faded photo plastered inside the frame, but it can still be seen clearly that it is a photo of a woman and Mr. Aji.
"How is Mary's mother, Sus?" aunt Narsih asked as soon as she saw the nurse had finished her examination.
"Mother Mary has a fever, but she has not eaten for a few days either. It seems to miss her husband a lot" the young nurse explained as she loaded the examination equipment into her medical box.
"I say goodbye first, because I have to check the health of other elderly people again, there are some people who are sick as well. If you want to ask the situation of Maria's mother further, may see me at the office when I have finished checking all elderly patients." said the nurse was polite.
"Well Sus, thank you" said aunt Narsih, smiling.
"Sama-sama Ma'am," The nurse bowed slightly to aunt Narsih and Hanaria and left.
Hanaria refocused her attention on an old woman with her wrinkled skin visible from being too thin.
"Mother Mary" called aunt Narsih, and she approached Hanaria. The old woman turned her head with a languid look, her gaze as if she was losing light.
"Mom Nar-sih" said Mary's weak mother, without answering Narsih's aunt's question. "Ma-na and A-ji?" he asked intermittently like something was pressing on him. Hanaria suddenly felt claustrophobic at the condition of the helpless old woman.
"Pak Aji is at Ma'am's house, there's a job from Madame Sundayana that can't be left."
Hanaria looked at Narsih's aunt as she was not forthright when Aji was sick, but she did not want to reproach her, believing that Narsih's aunt did so out of fear that it would worsen Maria's mother's health.
"I rin-dukan mas A-ji, bo-leh-kah bu Nar-sih min-ta permission on his nyo Ming-guana su-pa-ya mas Aji bi-sa ke-mari," said Mary's mother still intermittently holding her chest that looked sick with a grimacing face.
Before replying, aunt Narsih looked at Hanaria for a moment. The old woman also stared at Hanaria who had just been silently watching.
"W-who's she?" mother Mary asked, still looking at Hanaria.
"She's Miss Hanaria, sister of the late Miss Firlita, wife of Mr. Mahendra," said aunt Narsih, turning to look at Maria's mother who was scanning the face of Hanaria she had just seen for a moment.
The gazed Hanaria reviewed her warm smile without taking out a word.
"No-na, can An-da help me?" mother Mary is weak.
Hanaria turned to Aunt Narsih first, "Of course Mom, as much as I can, of course" while nodding at Maria's mother again.
"I heard from A-ji mas, Miss's voice wanted to be heard by Ming-guana's Nyo. So, to-long asked i-jin so that I could meet Mas A-ji, ", he said with a look of hope.
"All right, I'll try. But there is a condition for Maria" said Hanaria.
"What?" asked Maria's mother to look closely at Hanaria's face with a slightly tense look, worried that the conditions put forward by the old pregnant woman who was standing near her could not be fulfilled.
"Must be happy, eat a lot, do not think complicated, and try to recover quickly. Because Mr. Aji will be sad when he sees Maria's mother sick," said Hanaria with a smile remained fluffy on her face.
The tense face of Maria's mother then faded away, the two ends of her lips pulling together forming a faint smile on her wrinkled face.
"Ha's that?" ask Mary again.
Hanaria nodded. "Can I?" the question is still with a smile.
Mother Maria nodded weakly still with her faint smile.
"Give me 2 days," Hanaria developed her two fingers to form the letter V, "we will bring Mr. Aji here to see Maria's mother."
The old woman who was lying down again nodded slowly and still smiled.
"Well now, Mary's mother must eat first, as Miss Hanaria said earlier," said Narsih's aunt, who had just received a bowl of porridge from another nurse who was walking in front of Maria's bedroom door.
Hanaria looked on compassion with teary eyes as she saw the feed after the bribe Narsih's aunt had given her was swallowed vigorously by Mary's mother, she could feel the woman's longing for her husband by obeying what he said.
