"Sir Aji? Bi Narsih?" Hanaria was shocked to see her two guests that night. He and Willy had just finished dinner when the door knocked quietly in their inpatient room.
"Come, let's sit down, please" Hanaria invited the two guests to sit in front of her.
Although Hanaria showed her hospitality, but bi Narsih and Pak Aji seemed shy and clumsy, plus the presence of Willy also sat with them after closing the hospital room door tightly, he said, makes awkwardness more felt in both.
"We brought a little Miss's hand" aunt Narsih handed her a bag of plastic fruit that she had been waiting for.
"Well auntie bothered. But thank you very much Bi, Mr. Aji," Hanaria welcomed her two guests with a feeling of pleasure.
"Don't bother Non," said the two almost simultaneously. Aunt Narsih and Mr. Aji reviewed the happy smiles, seeing their little gift was gladly received by Hamaria who already had it all.
"Daddy Jo and El, Mommy Jo and El want to eat the fruit of the Narsih bi and Mr Aji, can you please peel?" Hanaria turned to look at Willy who was sitting next to her.
"Of course you can, wait for a while for Jo and El's Mommy" replied Willy, he hurried up from his seat, to pick up the knife stored in the nightstand drawer and then sit back beside Hanaria while peeling some fruit.
"I'm sorry Miss. Actually we didn't deserve to come here, we were just servants." aunt Narsih opened the conversation. "But Mr. Aji insisted on coming here, he wanted to thank Miss, "he added, glancing at Mr. Aji sitting next to him.
"Ah, don't think like that bi Narsih and Mr. Aji. I'm glad you guys could come visit here." said Hanaria remained friendly. While Willy was still busy peeling the fruit in his hand and just listening to the chat Hanaria and their two guests, because he was not as close as Hanaria with their two guests.
"How's Mr. Aji doing, has he improved?" Hanaria looked at the face of Mr. Aji who still looked pale and thinner than the last time she saw him.
"I feel better, Miss. I'm just here to say thank you for your help to me. And I also met my wife at the elderly home this afternoon," he said with a moved look.
"Usually every three days, I always make time to visit my wife Miss, we are both old, just waiting for the death to come." said Mr. Aji again with a bitter smile on his wrinkled face.
"N-that's not what I mean Miss." Mr. Aji looked bad, he felt wrong to say so Hanaria threw her idea.
"I think Mr. Aji no longer needs to visit every three days at the parlour. Husbands should live together. Isn't that Daddy Jo and El?" Hanaria gently touched Willy's arm beside him.
"You're right, sweetheart" Willy gave his wife a plate of freshly finished pieces of fruit.
"This is for Mr. Aji and bi Narsih," Willy shifted the other plate right in front of their two guests.
"Oh, we're not feeling well, sir" said aunt Narsih looking at Willy.
"Eat, no need to hesitate. When else is there a CEO peeling fruit other than here" said Willy relaxed and showed his friendly smile. He tried to make both of them feel comfortable saying so.
Although it looks awkward, aunt Narsih and Mr. Aji still plucked pieces of fruit from a plate prepared for them both.
"Regarding what Miss talked about earlier, I don't know how to repay Miss' kindness to me and my wife. But I am afraid, Madame Sundayana can be angry when she finds out my wife lives in her house" said Mr. Aji worried, continued Hanaria's previous remarks.
"Don't be afraid, Mr. Aji. For Madame Sundayana, it will be my business. Most importantly, Mr. Aji can take care of Maria's mother if you stay together. Tomorrow, I'll ask David's assistant to take care of Maria's mother's return from the elderly social home" Hanaria broke up.
"Thank you very much Miss. I'm really very grateful for everything Miss did to my family. And I can only pray that all good will always follow Miss with Miss's family." said Mr. Aji again, he was really moved because his prayers so far could be fulfilled through Hanaria.
He always had hope, if he and his wife could one day return to live together before death separated them.
