"Doctor Rosalie, what happened to your daughter Rosalia?" madam Agatsa sipped her tea in her elegant style, her gaze pointing straight at Rosalie who was sitting opposite right in front of her.
The atmosphere of the tea was supposed to feel relaxed that afternoon but for Rosalie it felt so awkward. He glanced at Moranno and Yurina before answering Lady Agatsa's question.
"Rosalia-, my daughter is fine," Rosalie placed her new teacup.
"I know you're lying" Madame Agatsa pulled a slight smile at the end of her lips. "There's no way a girl who's already a doctor would cry just like that if there's no cause."
Rosalie just stared at him stiffly, from the energetic look of the old woman that showed that she knew something, maybe even more than Rosalie could interpret.
But Rosalie remained opinionated, family problems will never be out, even if outsiders find out somehow just how it comes from his mouth.
"Your daughter is very well educated, both by you and by her father, she is not a spoiled and whiny girl. So if he came to cry came here of course something serious happened," Madame Agatsa continued her speech.
Rosalie was silent again. His daughter was very upset when she spoke on the phone to herself and her husband this afternoon, but she did not expect that her daughter could cry coming to this family. There was a sense of pain when hearing that, it turns out their daughter was more comfortable with the Agatsa family than her own family.
"I'm sorry for us, as well as our daughter, if it's been troublesome for your family here Madam," that's all Rosalie could say, that situation did make her feel very awkward and uncomfortable.
"Don't tell me Doctor, Rosalia's been like the daughter of this house in our family, she grew up with Billy and Willy, and they spend a lot of time together." Yurina tried to make the awkward atmosphere more relaxed.
"Yes it's Rosalie, so you don't have to worry, didn't Rosalia really get close to us a long time ago" Moranno also voiced his relaxed gaze at his best friend.
"I felt like I missed the times when our children were young, "Yurina looked far ahead, her smile growing up remembering the past.
"And now, they're all grown up. And Willy had gone before his sister, got married and had two twins" Yurina still smiled softly
"And it's your job as parents to find a partner for Billy" Agatsa quickly chimed in.
"Mom, let Billy find his own partner," Moranno looks objected to his mother's remarks.
"Mommy's right Honey, four more years Billy is 30 years old, while the boy is too busy with his work, he did not have time to think of a family."
"I think we can think of Stefhany, Edrine's best friend who was an intern at our company. The girl is beautiful, smart, and comes from a good family too." Yurina told Moranno.
"Mommy wants to see it, have Edrine bring the girl from Singapore here this weekend" Agatsa told Rosalie.
"Uhuk! Uhuk!" Rosalie who had just listened to suddenly choked and spouted the tea she was drinking from her mouth to hit a little face of Madame Agatsa who was sitting right in front of her.
"Doctor, are you okay?" Yurina was startled, she hurriedly poured some water and gave it to Rosalie.
"Rosalie, be careful," Moranno was worried, the man immediately shifted the box of tissue before Rosalie.
"N-no, I'm fine, thank you" he said looking at Yurina and Moranno after gulping down the water Yurina gave him.
"I'm sorry, ma'am" said Rosalie felt uncomfortable and condemned her carelessness. The obstetrician tried to approach to clean the old woman's face.
"No problem," Madam Agatsa rubbed her own face using a few sheets of tissue.
"But Mrs-,"
"Here it is, it is okay" said Madam Agatsa again, he still rubbed his face, cleaning up the remnants of the spray water in some parts of his face.
"Once again, please forgive me for being so careless," repeated Rosalie again still with her guilt even though the big lady of the house had already denounced her. He could sense that there were many changes to the respectable woman before him.
Rosalie knew very well, if only the carelessness she had done in the past, do not expect herself to survive the abuse and insults could be even more than that, her inner self.
"We'd better get in first, it's getting dark. We continue our conversation at the table, "mrs Agatsa rose from her seat.
"Let's get our doctor in," Yurina asked as she grabbed Rosalie's hand to follow her mother-in-law who walked ahead of them.
