"Seals?"
"Yiha?!"The boy's face is now seen filled with question marks, a combination of surprise and confusion about what is happening to him. A boy who at first understood nothing, was now dragged deeper into a long confusion.
"How can you?" His question was puzzled, both of them were still at the door yet to enter the castle belonging to master Atkinson.
"Master, do we need to go inside first, I'm starting to get nervous standing at a height!" Hans added while holding on to the rebuttal of the wooden fence that was nearby, looking nervous while occasionally looking down.
"Oh!"
"Of course Hans! Sorry I forgot to let you in haha!" Mr. Atkinson laughed awkwardly at the mistake he made, then the two entered and closed the door. As the huge tree continued to split through the forest, it moved using giant roots that pierced through the ground and rocks. When we see it from a distance it looks like he is surfing on the ground.
The two sat at the dinner table, before long the drink floated towards Mr. Atkinson. Hans stared at the nanar and then discovered that the figure was Canabis. He turned his face away trying not to focus on the figure.
"Sir, what do you mean by the seal on the book? Then what was that Jiha saying?" Hans asked a few questions in one breath with curiosity.
Atkinson looked toward Hans,"Hmm.. You've seen the characters, haven't you?"
"So like this.."
"Aksara is a stroke of prayer, which has the power to move the universe."
"But not everyone can have it, only the chosen ones can have it." Until this stage Atkinson was silent and drank a warm potion from his glass, while his eyes stole a glance at the little boy who was hearing his story.
"Challor? Elected people? Then you're one of the chosen ones? Can I be like you?!" Hans seemed so enthusiastic that he unwittingly stood up and climbed into the chair he was sitting in. Both of his hands rested on the table and his eyes stared at Atkinson glitteringly.
"I think you can, but we can only find out when you're nine. Oh, how old are you, Hans?" Atkinson held his chin as he thought.
"Ehmm, I didn't know it clearly either, but obviously I haven't reached nine years, '" Hans scratched his head, in his memory only two years ago since he was in the parlour. More than that, it was all covered in a black veil that he could not remember at all.
"Oh so, for a moment we can measure it."
"Canabis quickly bring that thing!" Said Atkinson, although he did not mention the thing he meant, but it seems Canabis understood the meaning behind the words. The figure floated away and took a circular pendulum, in the middle of which there was a block like a compass.
There are two triangles stacked together with different sizes and lengths. Each of those taper triangles points to the Aksara symbol. There are two circles surrounding the characters and the triangle, the first circle surrounding the eight characters, and another circle around the three hundred and fifty small lines surrounding the eight characters seemed to be prostrating around it and there was a small circle surrounding the ninth in the middle.
In form he can easily remember it, but when he wanted to see the characters he became dizzy instantly. This was because the tool used a system of sequence and arrangement, everything became blurred and messy in Hans's eyes that made him unable to understand it.
In the first circle there are nine symbols, each showing the number of years in a one-window cycle.
"Hans come!" Atkinson received the stone object from Canabis' hands, then he looked at Hans with enthusiasm and curiosity.
"Alright, give me your right hand!" Atkinson's Toilet.
Hans, who was still confused, said he put his hand up. Atkinson grabbed Hans' thumb and when he picked it up, a knife scratched Hans's skin. He was about to pull his hand but the force behind Atkinson's grip was so strong, he could only grimace in pain.
'Tss Ts's'
The sound of Hans droplets was almost inaudible, a few drops of blood were falling right at the center of the strange object, the two triangles then revolved by themselves. Hans was astonished to see that an object made of stone could move without a human moving it.
The first, smaller triangle moves around to eight characters that are outside the small circle. Then stopped in the northwest direction, the triangle falls on the 8 which means eight.
Then the triangle next moves towards the lines outside the second circle, the triangle then stops at the line to three hundred and five.
"Hmm, Hans, this age of your blood indicates that you are only eight years and three hundred and five days old. There are at least two months left before you turn nine. It was only a few days before we reached our destination.
Hans's eyes sparkled, "Alright, I hope the universe chooses me!" He looked so hopeful, his eyes showed a sense of excitement.
"Of course! Haha!" Looking at Hans so confidently Atkinson felt pleased and smiled. Canabis who was behind Atkinson smiled, "How long has Atkinson not smiled like this."
"All right! We have plenty of time for these two months! I'll teach you the things you need to know when you're going into the academy later!"
"Especially things regarding medicines and herbs! This will be a valuable asset when you enter the academy later!"
Atkinson then walked towards the room which was quite far from the dining room, Hans sat down at the table and enjoyed the food that was there. Canabis was silently sculpting as if just a decoration in the room.
Shortly after Atkinson returned with a stack of books in his hand, he then placed the bookcab right next to Hans's plate of food.
"Well, Hans, before we start this two-month study, I need you to read these books first. Especially the encyclopedia of plant names! I hope you read it carefully!"
"Well, I'll rest, and Hibiscus will take you to your room!" Atkinson then walked towards the stairs down, then his shadow was no longer visible after the sound of his steps was no longer heard.
Hans finished his meal, then looked at the books. He was nervous and nervous.
Would Mr Atkinson abandon me if I knew I couldn't read it?!
Canabis noticed Hans' strange movements, but she remained silent as if not paying attention. Hans put down his spoon and fork. Then he stood up, as he was about to take the books with him out of nowhere Hibiscus's figure greeted him from behind.
"Wooy!" He jerks. Then turned around and saw the always startling figure of Hibiscus.
This old man! Shit it surprised me again!
He then walked up to Hibiscus and came to a wooden door, then Hibiscus opened the door and a well-equipped luxury room was inside. Hans was amazed and did not know what to say, he went around looking at the whole room, while Hibiscus had come out of the room earlier.
He then shot his book on a wooden table that seemed to be prepared for him to study. As he sat down, suddenly two fireflies lit up and gave him enough light to read.
"Hello little friends!" He whispered in the direction of the two pairs of fireflies who became friends reading it tonight.
"Maybe this book will be different from other books, Mr. Atkinson is certainly not an ordinary person!" He tried to encourage himself, but when he opened sheet by sheet, his face became lethargic and irritated. Other than the plant drawings and details he could not read the descriptions and letters that seemed to be scattered throughout the pages of the book.
"NO!" He let out a small scream, and there was a knock from the door of his room.
"Hey what's wrong with boy?" A voice called out to him from his right, suddenly a pair of eyes and a floating head looked at him.
"AHH!"
"UH! Sir at least knock before entering, you almost made my heart stop knowing!" Hans shouted in annoyance.
"There's nothing out there!" He said with annoyance.
"Well why are you shouting boy!" Canabis who is not the patient type also exploded hearing he was thrown out by a boy.
"It's okay to get out, I have to learn! I was surprised to see these books! There hus-hus!" He kicked Canabis out again for the second time. Canabis is a spiritual being, although not completely, she only lives for as long as hers still survive to keep jiha.
Canabis then came out, as if lazy to argue with a boy who has not even nine years. When Canabis came out, hans looked around the room making sure the figure had actually left.
Then he immersed himself in both his scattered hands on the table. Then hugged the book of his father and mother.
"Why is this always a hindrance, I want to go forward, knowing the Scriptures and the secrets of the universe. But what good is the whole world, if I can't read and understand its meaning?"
He continued to ponder, while continuing to turn the pages of the plant encyclopedia. He memorized every detail of the plant based on the picture that was there, after a few hours he fell asleep—Still at the table where he read.
The next day he was awakened by the sound of knocking on the door, "Master Hans, breakfast is ready!" Hans regained his senses, he rubbed his eyes, then got up and walked out. He was still half conscious and sitting on the table.
"Hoa—" He's still yawning, but Atkinson has already thrown the question.
"Hans mention the characteristics of the Aristatus Ortosiphon plant!" Atkinson's voice made him sculpt, sweat began to appear suddenly. He's funny, can't talk.
Mr. Atkinson frowned, he never misjudged people. He knew that Hans had a good memory and was also a hard worker.
Didn't he read it last night?!
"Why are you quiet Hans?" Mr. Atkinson asked.
"Ehm..." He looks doubtful and confused.
"Let's just say Hans, it's okay" Atkinson said quietly so Hans wasn't afraid to tell the truth.
"Sir, I tried to read it last night. I have a problem with reading. I couldn't read the writing and the symbols in the book, for some reason and I didn't know. That's why you don't like school and you'd rather work."
"Please forgive me, sir," As he said so, his head was so low that it touched the table. His right and left hands clenched, holding back the shame, resentment and sadness mixed in his heart.
Atkinson was shocked, then fell silent and took a deep breath.
"Hey Hans!"
"Well, from today on, I'll read it to you, and I know it'll upset you, but listen to it carefully,"
"To be a magi without having the ability to read is an impossibility.." Mr. Atkinson fell silent, so did Hans.
"What about being a knight? Like your adopted friend before you?" He added as he walked and patted Hans' shoulder gently.
"You know? That only knights can kill dragons! Because dragons are the source of lies, they have the power to be immune to characters! Only knights can kill them!" At this point, Atkinson's murderous rage and aura involuntarily infiltrated out of his mouth and body.
Hans was instantly sculpted and in the scope of a very very fear, lucky Canabis' voice woke Atkinson.
"Fidelic!" Canabis said briefly to make the atmosphere back to normal, Fidelis is the first name of Atkinson, while Atkinson is a family name. Atkinson then sat down and threw his back. Then he let out a long breath, "Huh... Well, Hans tomorrow I'll start teaching you by reading every one of these books, so prepare yourself and get some rest."
Atkinson then got up and left, the mood was very bad. He then entered the door, which contained thousands of stairs that crossed each other and confused the people who saw it.
Not only did Atkinson have a bad mood, but Hans did too.
How can I unlock the secrets of this book if I can't even read it. The universe! You are really unfair!
He went into the room with a limp body without spirit, Canabis only shook his head to see Atkinson and Hans who looked so similar, he walked out and saw from the balcony of the middle side of the castle owned by Atkinson. The huge tree seemed to tirelessly carry the castle while walking through the forest.
