The Forest
Darius and the concubines went back in search of the Emperor's whereabouts which they knew nothing of his fate. In the middle of the search Knight Albert came. However, his arrival this time looked quite strange to Darius. The man's face was tense as usual.
“What's Knight Albert?” Darius approached the man who had just stepped off his horse.
Knight Albert did not answer. He instead gave a crumpled letter to Darius. The concubines approached Darius who received the letter. They wanted to know what was in the letter. Together they read it.
Not long after Darius stared at Knight Albert with an unfriendly look. The man did the same thing as the King when he read the letter.
“What does this mean, Knight Albert?!”
The Prussian mainstay knight bent his legs, resting before Darius and the prospective concubines who seemed to demand an explanation.
“Hamba delivers thousands of apologies from King Fabian. He is also as surprised as you are Mr. Darius. Even His Majesty fainted after reading the letter.”
“This letter comes from where and for whom? And why there was news of the Emperor having been executed. Please tell us! Emperor can't have been -” asked Helios representing the others. However, his speech was interrupted by Prince Lucas who stepped forward. The prince pulled on Knight Albert's shirt until the man was forced to get up from his bow.
“Don't mess with us! Tell me where the Emperor is now?!”
“Lucas, relax!” Helios tries to appease Prince Lucas.
“I won't calm down. How could news like this happen. Your Majesty must still be alive, I'm sure of it!” press Prince Lucas firmly. Even so, her tears flowed down her cheeks. Prince Lucas was easier to express his heart than other would-be concubines.
Darius, who saw Prince Lucas demanding Knight Albert not break up. The man instead asked for something else that made Knight Albert swallow his saliva rough.
“If your King feels guilty, take us to Diocletian! We will attack them. In fact, if indeed the Emperor was already lifeless. Aegis will not let his body be there!”
“Tu-Master Darius ..” Knight Albert was stunned by Darius' words. He was powerless if such a big decision had been taken. It was only natural that Darius wanted to fight for his Emperor. Knight Albert refused to comply with Darius's request. Because the King told him to follow what Darius would do.
“Warfare between Diocletian and Aegis is inevitable. The Aegis would bring 100,000 troops to flatten Diocletian. Goddess Athena with us.” Darius said in a cold tone.
He sent Prince Jerome back to Aegis. The man will lead 100.00 troops from Aegis to Diocletian.
“I will send you the destination via pigeon,” Darius said before Prince Jerome departed. The man was well prepared with the task given by Darius. He wanted to crush Diocletian to the ground.
“Good Sir!”
"Be careful while on the trip!”
“Thank you, Mr. Darius.”
The men tried to calm down despite being hit by the news that made them slump. A word if the Emperor has been cleared. Doesn't that mean the Emperor is dead? That woman has gone from this world.
“Master!” Prince Jerome called out to Darius who had already walked away from him. The man also looked. “Yang Mulia is fine. She still is
waiting for us!” a spirit was still emanating in the eyes of Prince Jerome. That is what is in the hearts of these men.
Darius just nodded with his thinly curved lips. Very thin to invisible.
Meanwhile Prince Lucas was still crying for the Emperor. The man regretted everything that had happened. “If I knew it would be like this. I'll whine so His Majesty doesn't leave. Your Honor ... I miss you so much,” he said softly.
Darius threw a sword at the man until Prince Lucas gasped.
BRACKET!
Prince Lucas was silent for a moment, still shocked. However, then he took a breath and wiped his face roughly. Removing traces of tears that had wet his cheeks. He took the sword and prepared himself in a suit of armor. Helios did the same. He only wanted to see the Emperor as soon as possible.
"God ... Take care of His Majesty wherever he is," his mind is praying.
Their entourage was getting ready to get out of the forest area, following Knight Albert who walked the front as a guide. They walked until they almost came out of the forest. But from behind they all heard a voice. The voice of someone Prince Lucas knew. The man immediately stopped his steps.
“Mr Darius, I think I heard something?”
Darius halted his steps, following Prince Lucas who took his horse to the back of the party. The soldier in the back turned his head as the voice grew clearer.
“WAIT FOR US!”
Prince Lucas widened his eyes. It turned out that the one who called out to them was Prince Evandor. The man ran after the group
Aegis. Prince Lucas approached from the opposite direction.
“Prince Evandor! You survived?” prince Lucas is happy. The man hugged Prince Evandor. After all, they were candidates for Emperor's concubines. They are also a struggle in fighting for His Majesty's love.
The man lowered his head to catch his breath that was choked from running. He nodded with a smile on his face. “I survived, someone helped me ...”
“Prince Evandor, sit down first.” Helios brought a bottle of water for the man. Helios was no less pleased with the fact that Prince Evandor was still alive.
“Thank you, but ... there's something I have to do,” Prince Evandor accepted it with pleasure.
“What is it?” darius asked who was approaching.
“Master Darius.” the man looked up as Darius was in front of him.
“I'm glad you're okay,” said Darius frankly. Although he did not like the prospective concubines. But, there was not the slightest desire to eliminate them all. Because he knew the Emperor needed those men.
“There are those who want to meet the Emperor,” bright Prince Evandor makes Darius curious.
“Who?”
“She was there, I left her for chasing you guys. He's left behind, please pick him up,” pinta the Prince.
“I picked him up? How important is that guy until I have to pick him up?” ask Darius. Who dares to rule the
War general. Only the insolent concubines would still be tolerated.
“Master will know after seeing it.” The words of Prince Evandor even more to make Darius hooked.
“Why don't you just tell me now, who's the one who wants to see His Majesty?”
“I don't want Tuan to regret, you should quickly pick him up,” Prince Evandor still don't want to tell.
Darius could have expressed his frustration at this time also on the Prince who had made trouble in the Aegis palace. But, looking at the man's current state made him go down. I saw a tired look on the man's face.
“If people are not important, I will tie your feet on the gallows!” threatening Darius. Prince Evandor was not afraid at all, because he knew that the figure was not an indiscriminate person. He was sure that Lord Darius would admit it.
