He's Not Dead

He's Not Dead
Davina and Davira

“You want to help me?”

Bono and Oky looked at me in wonder because they did not know what help I needed, Marsa who had just come to listen.

“I want to find out about Davina, including visiting her school,”.

All three of my colleagues looked at each other, which they knew Davina was my imaginary friend but I was sure Davina was indeed a ghost or ghost not just imagination.

“Okey, it seems interesting magical adventure,” exclaimed Bono.

“I the hell yess,” said Oky.

“You sure Ka? What if after all the searches you did it turns out Davina does not exist?” Marsa finally made her voice, still with her opinion that Davina was my imaginary friend.

“I have no problem,” replied Bono. “Important that I am adventurous and I believe Arka has a reason and strong evidence that Davina does exist.”

I don't care what Marsa thinks, which is why I have to help Davina. Papa says I should benefit my ability to help and do good, Davina is my priority at this time maybe the next building belongs to Mr. Doni and Om Kaivan.

Plans are in order, I'm going to Davina's school to ask her address and information about the girl and come to her house. My temporary focus on Davina doesn't mean that the school disturbance is no longer something I feel but that I ignore it as long as it doesn't bother me or my friends.

When the lesson bell ended we rushed to the parking lot. Marsa's taking part even though I forbid it. Using Oky and Bono motorcycles as before.

“This is the school?” ask Bono who hugged me.

“Iya.”

Oky stopped the bike behind me. We got in front of the school gate but hesitated to continue. Davina School is quite large, an international school and of course entry is not easy.

“What's up, why are we looking for Davina?” ask Bono.

“We find out first in the yearbook, Davina what grade or which class.” Oky's initiative is quite smart, we also look for a place not far from the school.

Housed in front of a mini market, Oky opens his tablet and searches Davina's school website. Bono and Marsa buy drinks and cup noodles, to delay hunger.

“This annual book is for those who have graduated, there is no Davina name. Maybe he has not graduated,” exclaimed Oky.

“Try to find rubric what cake, which is still active. Who knows Davina's an active student,” my word.

Oky swiped the screen looking for other information from several menus, I stared at the tablet screen and ....

“That!” yukyu pointed at the screen.

In the information rubric I read Davina's name. There's an article with that name caption.

“GOODBYE DAVIRA” STREET

Oky and I looked at each other.

“Davira?” ask Oky and then go back to scrolling the screen.

“BEST PRAYERS FOR THE TWINS”

“QUICK BACK DAVINA”

“This means what?”

I snatched Oky's tablet and read the contents of the article one by one.

“Gotcha, Davina you're right there. I'm not imagining.”

Bono and Marsa turned to hear my call. Even I had time to wipe my face not only because I was happy to prove I was not crazy but sad. There is a possibility that Davina is indeed a ghost who haunts.

“So, Davina's right there?” Bono asked me.

I pointed the tablet screen at her, Marsa approached to look at the screen.

“Twin, they're twins? Then which Davina?” ask Marsa.

“This is Davina,” point me at the figure on the left.

“Wah, beautiful yes,” exciting Bono.

It is not a matter of beauty Davina who makes me strange but the look of Davina's face looks sad different from her behavior is always cheerful and often laugh.

“Oky, we're in. Find out more info about them,” take me to Oky. Marsa objected, she wanted to come but I forbade her.

I intended to meet the student section of the school on the grounds of Davina's friend and hear information about the twins but Davina's contact could not be reached. I and Oky were inside for a long time and the school didn't want to reveal Davina's identity, let alone I couldn't prove that Davina and I knew each other. The information I got wasn't too much but it was enough to make me worry about Davina even more.

“How is Davina really alive?” ask Marsa.

I sighed and opened the mobile screen where I typed in the name of the hospital and Davina's home address.

“You can go home, I'll go straight to this hospital now. Looks like Davina doesn't have much time, looks different,”.

My three best friends looked at each other and seemed to want to come along but there was still something else to do.

“Arka, why not tomorrow. I accompany you deh but tomorrow,” said Oky.

“I accompany you,” exclaim Marsa.

“Don't, you go home,” I told Marsa.

Marsa and I arrived at the hospital. We used a taxi because Bono and Oky had other needs, especially now that it was starting the afternoon even Mama had sent a message asking me where I was and why I came home late.

I asked where the patient's treatment room was on Davina's behalf. The information section mentioned the name of the room, and Marsa and I rushed to the room. Walking down the hospital corridor, there were all sorts of patients including the sighting of invisible creatures.

Focusing only on Davina, I ignored the sightings and the disturbances I was going through. Marsa called out to me when a nun with a horrible face and a faded uniform stood in front of us.

I took Marsa on a detour rather than having to go through it or even interact with it.

“Lavender three,” I said read the nameplate of the room.

“Sepi,” says Marsa.

Me and Marsa approached the door of the VVIP room, my hand pressed the door handle and ….

“Arka, are you sure?”

Marsa and I stepped in and looked at the figure lying on the patient bed with all kinds of medical devices. It's Davina, I'm sure it's Davina. He's alive but he might be in a coma.

However, it wasn't just Davina's circumstances that kept me and Marsa riveted. Another figure beside the bed was currently staring at us with a drawn gaze. Her face is similar to Davina's, it looks like the deceased Davina – Davira – twin.

“Davira,” call me.

The figure looked at me, his gaze getting cynical and squealing.

“What are you doing here, aren't you gone?” ask Marsa.

“Davina should die, I will stay here until Davina's time is up so I can stay alive in Davina's body.”

Deg.

So what's running around is Davina's soul, because her body is in a coma but why she's in a coma then why Davira wants to control Davina's body.

Marsa and I turned their heads because the door of the room was opened and a middle-aged man entered. I've seen it before, the man is Mr Lim – Papa's co-worker.
