“Arka,” call Om Dion because I'm still standing outside.
“Iya, Om,” I replied while rushing in.
Look around the room that is still under repair. The room has been demolished and made into an open area.
“This will be the waiting room, so there will be many people seliweran. What do you think?” ask Om Dion.
“Ehm, no problem Om. What matters is not what it was before. Unused and tightly locked even dark.”
I looked up at the stairs. I've never been there, and for this floor I think it's safe.
“We go up yuk,” invite Om Dion. I nodded and followed his steps. Om Dion recounts the plan for the second floor. When I set foot on this floor, I already felt the presence of another creature and the figure in the window that I had just seen was gone.
“Well, the largest space will be filled many tables. While this open area there is a sofa and some cubicles over there,” said Om Dion.
“That's what room?” I went to two other rooms that were different.
“The little one will be made into musholla and the next one is the financial part.”
I stepped towards the space that was to be made into a musholla, feeling an urge for me to step closer towards that space. My hand touched the door handle, I slowly pressed it.
The sound of the door creaking because it has not been used for a long time. As the door slowly opened, it felt a gust of wind towards my face
“Any,” gumamku.
Why strange? None of the windows of this room were open, so where did the wind come from. The room light is not turned on and the curtains close perfectly causing only a little sunlight to enter between the curtains.
“The light is off,” said Om Dion.
I stepped in and approached the window, flipping the curtains so that the room would be bright from the sunlight that was creeping in.
“Om, either the lights are off or the electricity is damaged, immediately repaired,” I said staring out the window.
“Iya, the plan is so.”
“Astagfirullah,” I said staring at the figure attached above the door just behind Om Dion who was facing me.
That figure was waving at the window. It seems like this room is where he lives. He looked at me and grinned. My feathers goosebumps even the nape feels heavy and cold. I moved my neck to the left and to the right to remove the weight I felt.
Om Dion realized there was something strange that I felt.
“Why you?” tanyakanya.
I flinch but the gaze stays upward, right at the creature. The creature screeched and ….
Brakes.
Door closes. We were surprised, even Om Dion turned his head and moved behind me. While the creature slowly floated closer towards us.
“Arka, is there something?” ask Om Dion.
I chanted a prayer, as did Dion. The creature was already facing me, his face was tilted to the left. Wrinkles on the face and dark circles and the grin is really creepy. I was trembling because the distance of our faces was so close.
“GO!” his screams made me step back.
“You're the one who left, this isn't your place. Go to hell.”
I read a prayer to cast out the creature before me. He sniggered and returned to screech. Om Dion touched my shoulder. He could not see this interaction. The creature floated back and extended its hand towards Om Dion.
“Aaaaa.”
I turned, Om Dion was clutching his neck with both hands. He choked his own neck.
“Om Dion, istighfar.”
