He's Not Dead

He's Not Dead
Arch ~ Davina (End)

“Arka, you and Davina have any relationship anyway?” ask Mama

Davina's been hiding behind my body. I clucked while wringing my hair.

“Mama and Papa if you want to ask me later, there is something I have to make sure first. Papa come, who knows I need help,”. Then I directed Davina to sit on my bed.

“You wait here.”

“No, that ghost must have come with me here.”

“No, trust me. There will be no ghosts who dare to enter this room,”, I said again so that Davina calmer.

“Ghost?” ask Mama.

“Iya, Mah. Mama better accompany Davina, come on Pah,” take me.

Papa and I went down the stairs and came out through the front door. Then headed towards the side veranda and saw the figure that was previously with Maesa.

“That's what Davina fears,” I said.

Papa walked over to the ghostly figure who was confused because he could not enter the house. Whether what Papa said and what prayers were read, the ghost screamed in fear and disappeared.

“It should be if you face the like that do not need to be a moment, just exterminate. Obviously he's a curious spirit and a bully,” Papa scolds, I'm just a beard.

The curious ghost business is over, but I have to meet with Marsa to hold her accountable. The advantages that Marsa and I have should be used to help people instead of being troublesome.

“Come in, your business and Davina are not finished,” Papa said.

The four of us are back in the family room.  Mama and Papa were sitting next to me and Davina.

“Serious Mah, we did not say anything. Davina came to my room in fear, kept hugging me and you came. Besides, if we want anything, we will not stand at the door, but in the room and the door is also locked,”, I said explaining the incident so as not to misunderstand.

“Arka, you yes ...”

“Already, Mah,” interrupted Papa and then chuckled. “It turns out Papa's son is an adult. Davina, the ghost you're afraid of is gone. So do not be afraid anymore, even though you can see other creatures yes enjoy it.” Papa advised Davina.

“Arka says, your house cannot be entered by delicate creatures?” Davina finally opened her voice.

“Yes, but the devil in the heart knows. You evade from the demons outside, but the demons that seduce humans to make mischievous and evil remain. Because it is in the heart.” Mama was talking while looking at me, I don't know what she meant.

...***...

Tomorrow morning, I take Davina home. Then we headed straight to Marsa's residence. When I arrived, Marsa was ready to go to college.

“Tumben, you get here. Usually on the phone is also not lifted,” complained Marsa.

“What do we mean sending ghosts to disturb Davina?” I asked without further ado.

“So Davina ngadu also to you?” ask Marsa.

“So it's true it was you?” I asked back. “But you used to share that our ability should be used for good, why now change your mind?”

“You made me change my mind,” said Marsa.

“We are friends, don't ruin our friendship with you...”

“No, I don't want to be friends with you anymore let alone Davina.”

“Oke, no problem. I know you're a good person, don't do anything low like yesterday,” I said before leaving Marsa.

After that incident, my relationship with Davina got better. Even too good, because Davina still can't control her fear. Sometimes in the middle of the night he calls me because he saw an apparition in the kitchen. Even during college, he was frightened because the figure of the toilet waiter did not want to go.

...***...

The motorbike I was driving had already entered the grounds of the Om Lim residence and Davina was already standing waiting for me with a sullen face.

“For a very long time,” complained when he received a helmet from me.

“Macet, I told you you were delivered by your driver. We met at the boutique,” sahutku explained the situation so that Davina did not continue to frown.

“I want to marry you, it's natural that you pick up not to go anywhere as the driver continues.” I could only sigh at Davina's rant and then tell her to quickly go up so as not to repack everywhere.

My parents and Grandpa Davina decided me and Davina were getting married. Even though we were only in the third level there was still one more year for me to graduate. They are worried that our true closeness is reasonable, but Om Lim will be calmer if Davina really becomes part of our family.

We headed to the boutique to try the kebaya and the suit to be worn during the wedding contract in two weeks. The reception was agreed to be held after Davina and I graduated from college.

“If we are married, do not keep using the motor yes. Especially if it is hot like this,” complained Davina when we arrived at the boutique.

“If you use a car we sit far away, do not like riding a motor can hug me.” Davina hit me in the arm because of what I said just now.

“Messum,” said.

“But love ‘kan?” He just chuckled then hugged my arm.

If you say I follow in the footsteps of my parents married young, yes too. The difference is Om Lim believes Davina more with us with a legitimate status. A month after Davina and I got married, Om Lim passed away. The old man was Davina's only family.

Maybe it's Om Lim's goal to speed up my marriage to Davina, so that Davina isn't lonely and alone. Eventually Davina and I occupied Om Lim's estate.

“Aaaa. Arka!” shout Davina.

I rushed out of the room and towards the origin of the sound.

“Why? What's wrong, baby?”

I made sure Davina was okay.

“That,” point Davina to the kitchen window. “Hantunya ngagetin, if he appears slowly I will not be surprised like this.”

I rubbed my face, it was almost midnight and of course I was asleep.

“What are you doing here?”

“I want to take juice,” said Davina who is holding juice in packaging.

“Why not wake me up anyway?” I grabbed Davina and took her out of the kitchen.

“We want to have children, I want to be independent and brave. Later in front of the children, I shouted vaguely because I saw a ghost.”

I smiled and rubbed Davina's broken stomach. Yes, my wife is pregnant and lucky next week we're graduating. It means Davina's condition doesn't hamper our education.

Who would have thought, meeting Davina was the beginning of our relationship and ended in marriage. Davina's lost soul because She's Not Dead, and Davina's excess with her inner eye after waking up from a coma has tied me to her. Whatever it is I am so grateful and we are happy.
