Chapter - 16. Training Towards Eligibility.

After making a pilgrimage to Vira's grave, Egi immediately seeks out Sinta to ask for help from her. Egi was already impatient to immediately join the special forces, and asked Sinta to train him some preparations.

In front of the entrance gate, Egi was surprised to see a group of people crowded the entrance gate of the city. There were many people lined up to give greetings and entrance to a group of people dressed in black as belonging to the special forces of the city of Marabuh.

The captains of the team also welcomed the arrival of the group. All the residents and captains of the team and their members look very amazed and respect their arrival into the city.

After finding out what happened during the Coga special forces leaving the city, it led them to conclude that something related to what they saw during the mission, had something to do with the assault on the city of Marabuh.

The leader of Coga's special forces, Indra Syamsuddin. Indra is a team commander and also the one who leads the best special forces Marabuh , is the one who led all this time in the extermination mission outside the city.

Indra Syamsuddin was a special forces commander ranked on par with Datuak (town leader). 

The next city leader or called the next Datuak to XXVIII (28) will be inaugurated, and the person appointed as the candidate is Indra Syamsuddin.

Indra appreciated the decision of the elder to choose him as the next city leader. However, Indra refused to be the candidate. Indra then offers one person who fits the task, and the person is also as strong as Indra.

Indra mentioned the name Galena, but all seemed to dislike the name. It seemed like the elders and commanders were very afraid and worried about the name proposed by Indra.

Everyone who held the meeting made slightly tense facial expressions after hearing the information speech delivered by Indra.

If Indra said that, it meant that it was something very serious. Indra felt that such a great power would destroy this Southern region to the ground.

Egi seemed surprised to hear his request was rejected by Sinta. Sinta could not grant Egi's wish to train him.

Not only did Sinta reject the request, everyone Egi asked could not grant it and instead made bad words to him. 

That's because of the rules in the city itself.

It is forbidden for members of the special forces or Commanders to teach someone who is not part of the training.

They can only have the full support of the commander or training mentor if he (who has passed the eligibility exam) part of the training members.

Egi did not expect that there was such a rule in this city. "Isn't that really unfair" Egi thought. Why do the strong people in this city not want to teach anything to those who have not passed the eligibility exam.

Why do you have a eligibility exam? What's with the eligibility exam. That's how Egi kept thinking while tracing the streets of the city without realizing where the direction of the destination that Egi wants to go.

Instantly aware Egi was already in front of the gate of the exit of the city of Marabuh. The gatekeeper approached him and insulted Egi who came from outside the city of Marabuh with bad words.

Egi was not carried away by the flow of insulting words about him. Egi even tried to ask the guard to teach him how to use the EL ability. Of course the guard refused him as raw as those who had Egi pintai.

Egi frowned, if it kept on like this he really would not be able to pass the eligibility test. Egi thought and kept thinking who could train him in less than 3 months.

A member of the special forces, either captain, Commander, or ordinary people, would not listen to Egi's request from outside the city. Anyone who matters he really knows how to use the EL ability, Egi hopes once there is such a person who can teach him a little about the ability.

People in Marabuh City look not so accepting Egi is in this city. Whether it was a special or personal reason no one knew. Why the people of the city of Marabuh do not want to accept people from outside, may have happened something in the past.

After Vira's departure, Egi is now alone in this place. There is no one to side with him in this city. Maybe commander Sinta too. 

Although he has been kind enough to treat Egi eat, still it is inevitable the fact that Sinta does not want to be involved with outsiders like Egi.

I don't want to think of anything like that anymore. If Egi remembers all the words and mistreatment of the people to him, Egi will end up hating them, and Egi will not want to hate anyone in this city of Marabuh.

Egi with his innocent smile asked the gatekeepers to open the gate and allow him to go out for a walk.

The guards laughed out loud after hearing the request.

The gate was opened, and Egi stepped out of Marabuh.

"Hey, it's okay to let that boy out of town these nights."

"Curtain, let it go. At most the boy won't come back here again."

"He... why!?"

"Because he will soon die being eaten by starving beasts out there. Ahhaha..!"

"Haha."
