Chapter - 3. Safe Places In The South.

Heavy rain that flushed the village of Jolok makes a blazing fire does not devour the existing buildings. Although it looks there are still some parts left, but in reality there are not many buildings that are still intact and worth living in. Ben and Gio, they both feel something bad is coming to that place later. Before the new problem came, the two of them simultaneously went towards the south of the village.

There is a large city that controls the southern region, and the city is called Marabuh. Marabuh is the only major city and the capital of the South. The city was packed with a large population popularity, a little far from the residential area residents looked a row of high walls that became the boundary of the outside and inner world of the city. Long before the wall was still not built the city did not look like that. The barrier wall was built as the last form of defense of mankind. Because in the world there has appeared a strange existence and it is a variety of dangers and disasters that threaten the extinction of mankind. From year to year, generations of mankind continue to be faced with this strange figure. For the sake of his survival and their children, a glimmer of hope could still be seen. For the sake of that hope, humans had no other choice but to fight for their freedom. But it was only a fragile hope, that last defense could not protect them at all times. In the end, humanity is faced with a day of despair that will destroy them.

When the sky does not allow the sun to show a small ray of light, the wind will show it. When the destruction of mankind is over the horns, hope appears. A hero who will lead humanity to a bright future has been born. The inspired child shows that humanity can still wait for tomorrow until peace can be felt again. However, the threat has not disappeared. As time went on, humans evolved. After several hundreds of thousands of years, humanity has risen up and developed a way to eliminate the threat.

They called it a day of struggle, in which humanity united and formed an army that had the strength and ability to face the threat. The force was named Special Forces, where people were born with the talents given to the heavens and were designated as the liberators of the world.

The South, in the city of Marabuh.

This great city was led by a very strong man, they called it by the nickname Datuak [king]. The city of Marabuh has a lot of strong people, Ben and Gio for example. Ben and Gio are part of the city's special forces, but Ben and Gio are a little different from the rest of the special forces because their talents are both at the S level. The special forces in the city of Marabuh have a level system, and the level is a strong marker and not strong talent of a person.

That level consists of E [faded] this is the lowest level, then D [clear], C [fog], B [clear], A [unique], etc, and the most peak or strongest level is S [absolute]. Such levels signify the value of one's abilities and strengths.

Somewhere in the city of Marabuh.

"Hmm. huh? Uoaaaa..!!!" Shouted Egi, he gasped when he opened his eyes and was finally shocked to wake up in an unfamiliar place.

"Heh!? Aaaaah!!!!" A girl his age who was beside Egi was also surprised when Egi suddenly got up and shouted in front of him.

"You who? Where's this?" Ask Egi back.

"H..!! You can't ask a girl a question at once, you can be hated. Well, since today I'm being kind, I'll answer your question. My name is Vira Sidlilin, I am a special forces officer who serves as a nurse here. Then this place, this place is a Rolclinical special forces maintenance. You just calm down and do not have to worry about where, because now you are in the safest place in the South, the city of Marabuh. The Marabuh, is the name of this great city that controls the South.

"Marabuh..??" Sahut Egi himself held his head trying to remember the name of the strange city. Because no one knew about the city, Egi only frowned and was silent for a moment.

"Died..? It was impossible." said Egi then took off his grip from Vira's shoulder and instantly fell silent while lowering his head.

When the man began to show his face Vira was a little surprised by the arrival of someone. Being said to be surprised seems not possible to be amazed, because Vira also seemed to show a smile to someone. As Vira's face implied, a person might just be an important person.

"Commander Sinta." Vira Said.

After Sinta was right in front of Egi, he immediately told Egi everything he wanted to know about his family and the people in his village by telling Egi that he was the only one who survived the hell. At first glance is still imagined will mawut his family's face, finally Egi was not able to withstand his sadness for too long. Instantly both eyes Egi slowly began to shed tears and accompanied by sobbing sobs.

A few minutes later Sinta again told Egi that all those who were gone were gone and there would be no more. "Eye." Egi's mother smiled.

"Sister." Farah.

"Fight better.You can still be more, more, and more powerful than your father, Egi." Said Father.

"Oh really, hmm. Hmm.. Call for older huh." Said Sinta in a soft tone while taking out a sword from the scabbard.

The sword struck the two beds where Egi was lying and also hollowed half the walls of the room. Fortunately Egi skipped the attack before hitting it, and he immediately fled the treatment while holding Vira. Actually Vira had nothing to do with it and was not at all involved in Sinta's anger. However, it was only Egi's innate personality.

"What's wrong with her? Why did his personality instantly seem different from before, all of a sudden. He became someone else with an appetite to kill me." Said Egi running around with a confused face.

"Eh!? Wait, just calm down." Egi Sahut.

"How can I feel calm!? Quickly put me down..!! Said Vira shouting at Egi with a slightly reddened face.

Egi immediately lowered Vira from his lap as Vira had. After that Egi looked around to make sure the place where they stopped was safe and there were no signs of chasing from Sinta.

"You are..!! It's as if carrying a woman in your lap." Jerk Vira with a face expression that is still flushed.

"Well..why are you so angry!?" Egi is confused.

"But you can't act like that anymore."

"Why!?"

"Well, that obviously can't be..!"

"Alright, huh! You're weird." Egi said briefly, and he still did not understand the words that Vira meant.

Due to the slight debating between Egi and Vira, the atmosphere became a little awkward. After a while the two of them just fell silent, the awkward atmosphere between the two of them finally slowly dissipated, and the real atmosphere again felt like before. After taking a deep breath, Vira began to open her mouth.

"Well, let me see where we are now." Vira Said.

After Vira glanced in all directions at the place where they were now standing, an anxious expression began to appear on Vira's face. 

"Egi..!?" Vira Said.

"Why?" Egi said as he looked into Vira's eyes seriously, it seemed like Vira was going to snap at him again. That's how Egi guessed.

"We're a long way from the treatment squad. How'this?" Vira said in disbelief.

"Then just follow the direction from where we came earlier to return, no, just relax I can clearly remember the direction I have been through even if only the first time through it." Sahut Egi sure.

"You are, where we are now is too far away. It's not a matter of the direction of return. I mean that we're going back down that road on foot, and it's exhausting." Said Vira a little bit of a curl.

"I can carry you again." Short Egi.

After Egi had spoken his opinion just now, suddenly a small punch was attached to his cheek.

"I told you not to act like that anymore, right." Vira said, her cheeks turned red after hearing the speech.

"Tell me, don't you want to be carried by me?" Egi Say.

"Ahh. duhh, alright. We're not going back down the road you just walked. Since it's already here, I'll accompany you around the city from the way back to Roliklinis." Vira said, he immediately turned his face away from the direct gaze of Egi's eyes which made him feel awkward.

Since the proposal was very attractive to Egi, he agreed. It seemed like Egi also seemed to want to know a lot about this city. Now the two of them decided to tour the city of Marabuh. New things that he had never seen were found in the streets of the city, his clothes, his culture, his people, and even his buildings. Everything he saw was very diverse and different from what was in his village, and Egi was amazed to see it along the way.

"Well..!! I've never seen so many people in such a narrow street." Egi Say.

"You look so happy." Vira enjoyed it too.

"Of course I'm very happy, there are so many things I don't know. Like this place. So, what are they doing in the crowd in one of those places?"

"It's called a market." Vira Sahut.

"Markets?"

"Yes, they sell various kinds of precious, rare, sacred, and food items that they have. Then use this as his pay." Said Vira while taking out a shiny silver coin from inside a small pouch that she showed at once.

"What's that?" Ask Egi.

"This is my wallet."

"Not that! But, that round thing you just pulled out of there."

"Haha.I'm just a little joking. These are silver coins, these coins are the medium of exchange to get the goods or food you want from them."

"Only with small things like this." Egi said not a little disbelief.

"Have you never seen or owned these exchange coins?"

"No, everyone in the village doesn't have that thing."

"Heh!? Then how do you determine the exchange rate to get the desired food or goods."

"People in the village will give each other what they have. Food, equipment, seedlings, and other necessities."

"H..!! That's what it did there. It seems that I also still don't know things in this world."

Finally with a little disappointed Egi was quickly returned to the place where Vira was waiting. When the distance with Vira began to be seen, Egi suddenly stopped 5 meters from the position of Vira standing. Egi was seen silent for a moment because he saw some people dressed in black were crowding Vira, and someone also seemed to be holding his hand. The men were seen wearing the same clothes as Vira but there was a slight difference. When Egi noticed Vira's facial expression, Egi could tell. It was obvious that Vira was uncomfortable with their treatment. These people certainly want to disturb him and Egi decided to immediately approach them.
