Chapter 11 - Liu Shuang
Han Sen retracted his ability and in just 2 minutes all the Wolves in that place were only skeletons left. The energy in his body became stronger and he felt very satisfied with the ability he had obtained.
The girl ran towards Han Sen and said, "Thank you for helping me.. I'm Liu Shuang... If you may know what this big brother's name is ?"
"Han Sen of the Wood City." Han Sen looked at the blood he was wearing and immediately took it off.
"Sister Han... What do you want to do !" Liu Shuang covered her face and looked embarrassed.
Han Sen immediately went into the water and cleaned himself up. Liu Shuang felt a little embarrassed for thinking that no-no, immediately he took out both of his comrades' corpses and buried them properly in order not to be eaten by the Beast.
Han Sen soaked comfortably and said, "You're good enough to care about the corpses of the dead !"
"They died because of my mistake. If I don't force myself to come here then they don't have to lose their lives." Liu Shuang said with a sad expression.
"Well, life and death have become destiny. At least they died in an honorable way, not many people could do that. Most people who are faced with the danger of death, they only think about how to escape death itself and ignore others." Han Sen said with great admiration.
"Is Brother Han also such a person ?" Liu Shuang asked casually.
"No. In this world there will be no decent person who can kill me. Those I want to protect then I will guarantee their salvation, I am the one who will surpass heaven and will never accept defeat. Even if the situation wants me to lose then I just need to survive and turn things around." Han Sen said confidently..
"It's so much self-confidence.it's not like me that's useless. Brother Han Sen is very strong.I'm sure Big Brother Han Sen's future will be very bright." Liu Shuang said with a little comforting.
"Why humble myself. This world is no trash man, only someone who wants to try to close the gap and compete with talented people or people who resigned to their condition without fighting for anything." Han Sen said firmly.
"The fact that my Martial Soul is just a little bird like this signifies that my talent is limited. Since I was born into a family that is quite influential then this is a little depressing for me." Liu Shuang showed the Soul Beast a small red Bird.
Han Sen watched him closely and could not help but be surprised, "Stupid... do you not know your own kind of Soul ?"
"Indeed what's strange.isn't this just a weak Fire Bird's Soul." Liu Shuang replied with a confused expression.
"That's one of the Soul Beasts that many people dream of is the Vermilion Bird and you think of it as the weak Little Bird Soul. If other people find out about this, they're afraid you might get slapped by them until your mom won't be able to recognize you again." Han Sen said while holding his head.
It could be said that Liu Shuang's Soul Beast was extremely powerful and was one of the best amongst Soul Beasts.
"Ugh...why is Big Brother Han Sen so rude, I don't have a mother and is that really a Vermilion Bird ?" Liu Shuang asked in confusion.
"I'm sorry... This happened all of a sudden.. You guys have no knowledge of the Vermilion Bird, but you should know what a Phoenix Bird is not ?" Han Sen asked in annoyance.
"Yes... The Legendary Bird that was said to be the Eternal Bird that was enveloped in flames." Liu Shuang replied correctly.
"That's right... The Vermilion Bird had the bloodline of the Phoenix Bird and was known as the Beast King. The Fire of the Vermilion Bird is one Level below the Fire of the Phoenix Bird and there will be no Soul Beast that can match yours except the Soul Beast that bears the King of Monsters and the Divine Soul." Han Sen explained it briefly.
"I know that out of all the Attributes I am most adept at Firebending. But the fact that there is no change at all, does Big Brother Han Sen want to comfort me !" Liu Shuang said with a wide smile.
"Believe it or not it's none of my business." Han Sen came out of the water and put on his clothes.
"Go... Can you take me with you to Wood City ?" Liu Shuang begged Han Sen to take her.
"Why should I do it ?" Han Sen looked lazy as he had to immediately go to the meeting point to meet the others.
"I will pay a hundred thousand spirit stones as long as Brother takes me there." Liu Shuang said casually.
"Agreed." Han Sen agreed to it and when money spoke then everything would be easy.
After all, a hundred thousand spirit stones was no small matter. Should it be enough to make him buy some Medicinal Ingredients to make Spirit Pills, he was still lacking in Spirit Stones and if there was anyone else who wanted to give it then Han Sen would accept it with great pleasure.
Soon the two of them went to the location point behind the Palace. Han Sen explained everything to Liu Shuang that he had come here with a team of explorers who would take the treasure, he said, Liu Shuang didn't mind going out together and it had been a long time since he had gotten a friend of his age who could be formally spoken to.
Although Han Sen looked very rude and spoke bluntly, he was actually a good man because he wanted to help him when dealing with Wolves. Moreover he was very strong and walking with him was probably safer than he had to go home alone.
