Chapter 3: Ruby Card

Gevariel was relieved. "Aren't you lying to me?"

"Of course not!" the beautiful woman replied with a sparkling face, "Are you going to come back with me?"

"No. If you're not lying, prove it to me. You said as long as I come back, there will be abundant wealth. Show me by sending Tens of millions to my bank account!" Gevariel looked at the beautiful woman firmly.

The beautiful woman frowned, thought for a moment, then said, "I still have a task that I must finish immediately. Inside your belongings, there's a Rubi card from Bank IBC. The password is your birthday. You can find out the amount of the balance when you go to the bank!"

Gevariel's face changed, indeed he had such a card, but the card was different from a regular bank card. He didn't even realize it was a bank card. Bank cards are always there, but never touched!

He looked at the beautiful woman, then turned around and rushed towards the security post.

"Gevariel, there's a woman who brought you a package, she said it's yours!" said the security guard with a faint smile upon seeing Gevariel.

Although it is referred to as a package, it is actually just a large garbage bag. When Ratna drove Gevariel away, she didn't even give him a box!

Gevariel smiled cynically, then ransacked the contents of the garbage bag.

Inside, there were only a few clothes. After searching for a bit, he found a faded Red card with a picture of Rubi imprinted on it.

"Om, please keep these things here for a while. I'll go out and come back later!" gevariel said with a smile to the security guard.

"No problem, but not for too long. There's still one cement truck you have to move. If you're late, you'll be scolded by the foreman again" the security guard uncle reminded Gevariel.

Gevariel did not reply, as the security guards were busy with cement.

He took the card and ran towards the IBC Bank !

Gevariel sighed heavily as he stepped into the magnificent building of Bank IBC. This mysterious bank is reserved only for the rich, with small-scale customers and a deposit threshold of at least one billion.

The presence of IBC Bank always keeps an aura of mystery. The secrets behind this bank have made it a destination of choice for the rich. Gevariel also tried to find a way to solve the problem that surrounds him.

Gevariel tried to convince quickly, "I'm here to make a transaction ."

The security guard looked at him skeptically, "You know very well what Bank IBC is like? What transaction are you going to make here?"

as a security guard of Bank IBC he often witnessed glamorous customers with abundant savings, luxury cars, and branded clothing. However, Gevariel?

Gevariel just came out of construction. His body looked dirty, full of cement dust, and his appearance was like a puff. Even his white vest almost turned black. He was just wearing shabby sneakers, looking like a beggar.

What kind of transaction would a jeweler like him make?

"Wait, Gevariel?" the voice of a familiar woman sounded behind him.

Gevariel was surprised to hear the voice. A voice so familiar and containing a million meanings.

He slowly turned around, and not far from there, a new BMW i-800 stopped. From inside came down a man and a woman who exuded charm. The woman looks beautiful with thin makeup that accentuates the naturalness of her face. And as they walked down, they held each other's arms together, showing an intimate closeness.

Gevariel, full of emotions and suspicions, realizes that they may have been together for quite some time.

That woman is Akness, his ex-wife. Gevariel never touched her even after three years of marriage.

"It's Gevariel." The two of them approached, and the man glanced at Gevariel with half a smile, with a hint of arrogance, "Your ex-husband?" "Yes," Akness nodded with curvy lips.

He looked at Gevariel with a look of disdain and stated, "He hasn't even touched my finger yet, so don't expect to be able to think of that!"

Then he looked at Gevariel and introduced him, "Gevariel, let me introduce you. This is my girlfriend, Rio, you must have heard of it."

Gevariel had indeed heard of Rio, the son of a rich man from M City. His reputation is well known throughout City M, though not always in a positive light.
