The train continues to go to the shadow station. Ryo who was getting bored chose to close his eyes, and sleep soundly. While Jaka, who was awake because of his hungry stomach, decided to go to the rear carriage. He was planning to buy food in the car canteen.
After passing the third carriage, somehow Jaka's feelings became unpleasant. He hesitated to continue his steps. Jaka decided to stand for a moment in front of the toilet door, which was located between the doors of the three and four carriages.
His eyes focused on the four carriages that felt strange to him. At first glance everything seemed normal, there was nothing strange inside the carriage four. All the passengers were sleeping. But Jaka felt that the situation was strange. He thought the situation in carriage four was too quiet.
Jaka began to find some oddities that make the feathers bristling. In the carriage four, Jaka saw the person as if hypnotized.
Everyone sleeps in the same position. They slept in a sitting position, and their heads were bowed, except for one person who was seen still awake. She was an old lady wearing a black kebaya suit.
Jaka gulped his saliva, fear began to terrorize the mentally burly young man. For a moment he just kept silent. The space in the four carriages made him stiffly unable to move. Jaka's brain ordered, so that he quickly went from there. But his body does not want to be moved, even just to look.
"Oh my God..., how is this, why is my whole body so stiff like this, oh my God that woman turned her head here, what am I supposed to do now?"
Suddenly the black-clad old woman stood up. her pale face grinned, her black eyes shot sharply towards Jaka, and then ordered Jaka to leave. The young man was panicked and surprised. He wanted to run away from there, but Jaka's legs felt limp. His eyes faded, and Jaka langung collapsed next to the toilet between cars three and four.
Angga, who had woken up from his sleep, was a little confused to see Jaka's empty seat. He stood up, moving around him. Thinking Jaka was among the passengers. But after looking left-right, he did not find the young man.
Angga then thought, if Jaka must be going to the toilet or the train canteen. But after an hour passed, Angga began to fret because Jaka had not returned. He felt that something was wrong with Jaka. He then woke up Ryo.
"Yo. Get up Yo, Jaka's missing, we better find him. I'm worried something's happened to her."
"We're on the train, no, the boy's going where, if not to the toilet, he's going to the train's cafeteria."
Ryo answered with his eyes still closed. Angga does not want to give up just like that. He kept trying to wake Ryo up.
"Hey Yo, it's been an hour, but I haven't been back yet."
Ryo squinted his eyes, then looked at the watch. For a few seconds he rubbed his face and recovered his consciousness.
"What the hell is wrong, we're still three hours away, I'm still sleepy"
"Heh listen, it's been an hour since I woke up, and all that time Jaka wasn't in his seat. I'm worried about him Yo."
Ryo was still studying Angga's words, he thought Jaka went to the cafeteria or toilet. But if you think about it again, it can't be an hour or more. Ryo suddenly panicked, he thought the same as Angga.
"That kid goes where he goes, makes people panic."
"Yes come on, let's find Yo, you go ahead, I go back."
Angga then invites Ryo to split up. He will search the rear carriage, while Ryo will look for Jaka to the front.
Angga crossed the passengers, his eyes focused on the face of each passenger train carefully. But there was no sign of Jaka's whereabouts among them. Angga continued to search to the final car where the train canteen was located.
Every toilet has been checked, but Jaka is nowhere. Because he saw Angga who looked confused, a train attendant, then came to the handsome young man.
"What's wrong, I noticed you guys pacing back and forth, like looking for something. Is there any of your stuff missing?"
"Not the goods sir, but our friend Jaka is missing, from earlier I have been looking for him where. But Jaka's like he's not in this car."
"Where to go, jagan not him...?"
Without further ado, Angga immediately tells the chronology of Jaka's disappearance, and the negative thoughts that come to his mind. Angga is worried that Jaka is doing something, or do not have bad people who are after him.
The carriage attendant listened to Angga's description while smiling meaningfully. The man seemed not surprised by what happened. He then took Angga and Ryo to the toilet which was between cars three and four.
"You two wait here for a second. I'm going to the cafeteria to make coffee and get a cigarette."
Angga who did not understand the strange speech of the train attendant, did not want to take a headache. He simply nodded in agreement, then let the carriage attendant go by to the cafeteria.
Angga grumbled in annoyance, bending his face. He felt it was in vain to have reported Jaka's disappearance to the officers.
Compared to the reverse with Ryo, the fat man actually looks calmer, facing the problem of Jaka's disappearance.
Compared to Angga who was skeptical of the mystical world. Ryo is indeed the type of person who believes in supernatural things, smelling sweet. What's more, he just experienced his own astral phenomenon at a small station a while ago.
With the car attendant who understands the occult, Ryo becomes calmer. He believes Jaka can be found.
"Sorry for a long time, because I have to make black coffee, with a little ritual."
"It's okay sir, what matters is that our friend survived, that's enough."
Ryo assigns Jaka's search to the train attendant. While Angga looks, like it doesn't matter. He kept quiet, not commenting. For him this is just a silliness that wastes time.
Angga is eager to return to his seat, but he is reluctant to be said to have no empathy. With a very forced Angga had to witness a ritual that according to reason, looks strange.
"Now try to open that toilet door, your friend must be inside."
"In the sir?"
"Yes inside. This toilet is indeed an inter-dimensional portal, do not daydream if you are in this toilet."
"Sorry before sir, it's not that I don't believe it, but I've been double back and forth checking this toilet, and Jaka our friend isn't there."
Angga immediately refuted the words of the carriage officer. He was sure he had checked all the toilets many times, and Jaka was not in all the toilets. Unlike Ryo, he did not want to argue with people who had good intentions to help them.
The young man hurriedly stepped up, and opened the toilet door. Angga was surprised that his pupils were widened. They were the same as seeing Jaka drooping on the narrow toilet floor.
The mouth of the train attendant komat kamit read a prayer in the heart. After that, he immediately squatted down and washed Jaka's face with mineral water. It didn't take long, Jaka immediately regained consciousness from fainting, and looked dazed.
"We have to go home Ngga, the black grandmother said, we're all going to death by ourselves."
Suddenly Jaka said something strange. Angga is confused by Jaka's words, while Ryo is surprised, Jaka's speech is exactly the same as what he experienced, at the station an hour and a half ago. She realizes something is wrong with Herly, but somehow she can't change her mind, and continues on their journey.
Instead Angga still looks confused to interpret Jaka's speech. He still had to digest again the phenomenon that was unfolding before his eyes. Strange but real, that's what comes to the mind of an Angga.
It's all magic, but they're not watching the show on stage. Angga could not say a word, other than saying Sorry, and thank you, because the train officers had been willing to help them.
Ryo immediately returned to their one-seater carriage. He took clean clothes for Jaka. While Angga was still standing on the spot, accompanying Jaka who was sitting limp on the floor of the carriage. The incident was inevitably a spectacle of the passengers who were about to enter the toilet.
The train attendant immediately neutralized the situation by saying that Jaka just fell slipping in the toilet. The crowd finally understood and returned to their seats.
Ryo came to give dry clothes to Jaka. The young man slowly got up and closed the toilet door. After changing clothes, the tense atmosphere in the carriage gradually recovered.
Angga and Ryo held Jaka back to their seats. The young man still looked traumatized, he was sure the black woman was real and he had terrorized her.
Their journey is not far away, only one hour left, before they reach the city station banyuwangi. Angga sat down leisurely while staring blankly out the window. His mind floated on the barrage of events they had just passed.
He as a man born in the modern era, inevitably must admit, there is another world out there, an abstract world that intersects with human life.
The bell of the train rang, marked the train will soon stop at the destination station. All passengers packed up, ready to get off at the last station.
Angga stood up for a moment to relax his stiff muscles. Passengers on the train had disembarked all but one person in the four-car. A grandmother was still in the passenger seat.
She is the old woman that Jaka and Ryo saw. The old woman continued to stare intently at Angga with a face filled with anger.
"Muleh...!"
