Him, my Daughter's Father

Him, my Daughter's Father
Chapter 1

" Dinda, don't run, kid, fall down!." Shouted a woman sitting on the playground to warn her daughter. Because the 4-year-old little girl continued to run tirelessly. It made the mother worry that her daughter would fall.

Puspita then ran after the princess who actually went further and further towards the road. The focus was only on the little angel, until a car drove towards his daughter.

" Dinda!!!." Shouted as the car nearly touched her daughter, before a man came and pulled her on the side of the road.

" Thank God." He muttered, as well as some people who witnessed the thrilling events in front of them.

Soon he ran to his daughter, who was in the arms of a man in a white shirt.

" Thank you." He took over the frightened Dinda. A hug he gave, in order to calm his trembling baby.

" Calm down, baby, you're not papa." He stroked his daughter's long hair. In his heart he was very grateful, God was still kind to them.

" Once again, thank you." He said with a bow, to the man who had helped his daughter. He felt that the man was an angel sent to help the princess.

" Everyone." The man was busy cleaning his dirty clothes, then looked at the little girl he had just saved.

" Next time be more careful..." Soft talk.

" Come on, what's the same Om?." Puspita said to her daughter.

" Thank you, um."

Puspita and the man compactly stared at each other, creating a look of shock between the two. They do not realize the presence of each other, so they do not realize if they are talking to people in the past.

" Skeletons."

" Mahesa."

The two muttered simultaneously, resuscitating a surprised look that had been created for some time.

" Puspita! Is this really you?." Mahesa asked enthusiastically, looking at the woman she had long missed.

With hesitation, Puspita nodded, making a happy twinkle on Mahesa's face increasingly shining.

Mahesa then looked at Dinda, then turned to look at Puspita.

" Him?."

" My daughter." Puspita answered briefly. He quickly held his daughter, and walked away. However, he did not want to linger to meet Mahesa.

" Wait!."

His steps came to a halt as Mahesa called out, the man catching up with Puspita.

" Thank you for the help, I will have my assistant transfer it immediately. Just tell him your account number." Puspita said coldly, making Mahesa frown in wonder.

" What do you mean? You think I'm..." Mahesa did not continue his speech, he instead laughed at the way Puspita judged it.

" You think I'm that bad?." He stood right in front of the puspita who was still holding Dinda, who was then taken over by a newly arrived woman, Dinda's nanny.

" Please get Dinda in the car, I'll catch up." Tell Puspita to her daughter's nanny while giving Dinda in her nanny's arms.

" Good Mom."

" Are we that way now, until you speak formally to me?." The disappointed look was obvious when Mahesa asked, making Puspita feel guilty. But he tried to look unaffected.

" You'd better do what I'm doing now."

" Pretending alien? I'm sorry, but I can't." The Mahesa will not lose.

" I'm not pretending." Reply Puspita is calm.

" stranger? Isn't that what you wanted 5 years ago?."

Mahesh was silent for a moment, knowing very well that there was no denial of what Puspita said.

" Go as far as possible! If one day we meet, suppose we don't know each other!." His words 5 years ago.

But really, he can't pretend to be the woman in front of him. Puspita, remains a woman who from the past until now still fills the space of her heart. Regardless of the anger that once devoured his human side.

" You don't have to apologize, I should thank you." Puspita's words made Mahesa look in wonder.

" Because you saved my daughter." The following made Mahesa feel disappointed, sad, and angry at the same time. Especially when Puspita calls 'my daughter'.

" I'm sorry, I have to go right away." He answered when he realized someone was walking towards them. Mahesa immediately blocked his hand.

The man looked back, followed Puspita's gaze, and found Tania and her little daughter, Salsa.

" Dad..." Call Tania in an annoyed tone to see Mahesa holding Puspita's hand. The omens ask Mahesa to release her cheque from Puspita.

Mahesh ignored the words of the woman who had given birth to her daughter. He focused on Puspita.

" Aren't there a lot of things you want to talk about? Especially about Dinda." Ask expectantly.

Puspita did not reply, she glanced at Tania at a glance then removed her hand from Mahesa's check by force.

" No." Answer's short.

Mahesa looked at her desperately, clueless as to what had happened to Puspita until she could act this cold.

" The puspita I know is friendly to everyone." Prattling

" The Puspita you know was gone 5 years ago." As much as Puspita's energy maintains his tone of speech. Now she feels like crying all the time.

" Please admit everything is your fault, then I'll forgive you immediately and we can make peace." Urged Mahesa to try to reach Puspita's hand, but was pushed over by the woman.

" Damn!." Puspita screeched cynically, staring at the two people in front of her in turn.

" fault? You don't even know what happened, how could you easily conclude?." The reply looked at Tania, the woman who was also looking at him with hateful eyes. A taste she should have.

Not wanting to be more ignited emotions, Puspita chose to go from there.

" Dad..." Tania blocks Mahesa, preventing the man from pursuing his former best friend.

" You have no right to prevent me!." Sergey Mahesa let go of Tania's hand forcefully, quickly running after Puspita. But, baby, it's too late. The car where the woman had just boarded, had driven away from the park parking lot.

" Well... Why should you go after him? Look, Salsa's so sad to see her Papa chasing another woman." Said Tania who was after Mahesa.

Mahesa looked at Salsa in her arms, then took over the girl Dinda's age.

" Why did Papa leave me with Mama to chase the woman?." With a frown Salsa asked, making Mahesa glance at Tania furiously.

Showing that she was angry that Tania had made her daughter think that way. While the woman he stared at sharply immediately lowered his gaze.

" I'm sorry, baby." Say it to Salsa gently. Furious at him, Mahesa will not show it in front of a small child. He stroked Salsa's hair, but was immediately brushed aside by the little girl.

" em's... Strawberry-flavored ice cream is just as good chocolate..." Mahesa deliberately teases Salsa. Of course there is no child who does not like the type of ice one is not it?.

" Want..." Salsa Whine.

" Sure?."

Salsa nodded quickly.

" If so..." Mahesa thrust her cheek, which was then immediately kissed by her little daughter.

On the other hand, Puspita who was still on her way home, unceasingly stroked her sleeping daughter's black hair on her lap. A child who grew up without his father.

If he could choose, he would certainly tell Mahesa the truth, along with the evidence for the man to know the truth. Then tell Dinda who her real father is.

However, the risk was much greater than that of him remaining silent. Not only can he not live quietly, maybe even his daughter's life can also be threatened.

" I'm sorry, dear Mother... But this is best for all of us." He muttered, holding tightness in the chest.

He looked up, remembering what happened 5 years ago. The worst moments of his life happened.

Seriate.
