Chapter 11 Knowing the Truth

"Where is Dad going? Just got home from work, why are you going again?" ask Rara who came to Rendra's father, who will leave the house.

"Dad wants to go to work again, son. Because Dad gets a job from the office, to go to work out of town again. You two are well at home, and take care of Mommy well," replied Rendra who lied to her two children. So that he can leave the house.

"Just yesterday came home from out of town, now I want to leave us again anyway" said Arsen who complained, hearing the words of his father who will go to work out of town again.

"Yes, I don't go to work out of town. Me and Arsen's brother have been two weeks away from playing with Dad" said Rara, who misses playing with her father.

"Again Dad had to go to work out of town, must have gone a long time ago. Aye?" asked Arsen with a pouting face. Because he didn't want his father to leave him.

"This time I didn't go long, really. After Dad gets home, we can play together again. I promise," said Rendra while pointing her little finger towards her two children.

"Promise yes, yeah." Arsen and Rara say it simultaneously, and they both promise pinkie with her father Rendra.

"Yes, Honey. Dad left first yes," said Rendra to his two children.

Arsen and Rara forced a slight smile. Though in his heart, the two of them looked disappointed with his father Rendra, who was about to leave them both.

Nindi who saw that, just kept quiet and did not approach her son and husband. The events he saw, made him into a dilemma. Because his two children, did not want Rendra to leave them.

"Am I a selfish mother? Who only thought about my feelings, without thinking about the feelings of my two children. The smile that the two of them showed, it only covered up his sadness, which was not willing to part with his father. Both my children must feel such sadness. Rendra responded to the words of his two children, smiling while waving his hands as well. Before he left his wife and children.

Nindi let out a heavy sigh, and threw it away roughly. When his two children came to him, hugging him.

"Mother, why the hell do you have to go to work out of town? I love being sad when I see Dad going to work out of town. Because I'm afraid Dad won't be back with us again" said Rara, who was afraid something would happen to her father.

"We pray for you, son. Don't think bad, let's go inside" said Nindi, who invited her two children, to enter the house.

"But Bun. Last night I had a bad dream about Dad,"

Rara's words made Nindi stop her footsteps, and she immediately turned to face Rara.

Nindi had not had time to ask about the nightmare that Rara saw, Arsen had already asked Rara.

"What dream are you, Ra?"

"That night. I dream Daddy went to work out of town, and didn't come back to this house again. I was afraid, my dream would come true. Because right now Dad is going out of town, I don't want Dad to leave us all behind" replied Rara who told me a little about her dream.

Nindi took her two children to her in-laws' house, and when she got there. Both of Nindi's children saw a roving toast seller, who stopped not far from her in-laws' house.

"Bun I want to buy toast there" said Arsen.

"Yes, you two go there. Mother entered the house of Omah first yes," said Nindi who allowed her two children to buy toast.
