Chapter 14's
Dae Gu, Ten-Bae Floor Apartment Room 705, August 15, 2010…
“Welcome,” greet Da In when Hyuk Jae enters their apartment, “why go home early?” he asked when Hyuk Jae started to struggle spoiled.
“Because you want to celebrate the birthday with my wife for the first time,” explained Hyuk Jae while hugging the friendly Da In after changing footwear with home sandals.
However, when a kiss will be given, Da In immediately release the hug while smiling meaningfully and turned to leave him who immediately clucked annoyed.
“Heiii..” cried Hyuk Jae disappointed.
However, Da In, who was still wearing an apron, continued to leisurely waltz into the kitchen. He turned on the stove which had been turned off temporarily, Hyuk Jae with a sinless face hugged him again from behind.
“You made seaweed soup for me?” ask Hyuk Jae softly.
“Indeed it should be like that, right?”
“How about my gift?”
“We talk later.”
And Da In's statement made Hyuk Jae smile amusedly and then release his embrace when he was going to turn off the stove.
“Clean yourself, we have dinner together. There's an interesting thing I want to tell you about our neighbor.”
To avoid all Hyuk Jae's behavior, Da In also gently kissed her husband's lips full of affection who immediately smiled with satisfaction.
“Good, I take a shower, then we have dinner.”
“Resurge!” da In shouted after Hyuk Jae ran small to the room.
For a while in solitude, Da In was suddenly startled by the sound of a doorbell ringing and immediately, he ran to the main door after releasing an apron.
“Iya, wait a minute,” cried Da In quietly and rushed to reach the doorknob and opened it.
The figure of a beautiful woman with large glasses looks sweetly smiling while carrying a large enough bag.
“Oh! Brother Da In!” exclaim Da In on the figure of the woman who is also named Da In.
“I just arrived from Singapore today. There is a little present for you and your husband, I hope you like,” Da In said as he handed over the bag he was carrying.
Soon, Da In welcomes the gift and along with it, Hyuk Jae who just finished bathing comes out in a bare-chested state to the main door.
“Who is coming? Why just stand at the door? What men? Why hide?”
Holding tightly to the two ends of the small towel hanging from his neck, Hyuk Jae immediately showered the Wife with questions because of his jealousy without realizing the figure still standing in front of the door.
“What kind of man is this beautiful,” Da In's nag and set his eyes on the woman who smiled amusedly because of it.
Hyuk Jae spontaneously turned his eyes to the woman who was now standing before him. For a moment, he blinked when their gazes met however, then a sneaky glance seemed from the corner of his sharp eyes as Da In smiled gently.
Meanwhile, Da In who was surprised by their gaze felt a little awkward and finally rebuked Hyuk Jae when a strange feeling suddenly enveloped him. Raising both of her eyes, she poked the Husband who was directly staring in a daze but, made him immediately go back into the room.
“You are very funny,” said Da In because he saw Hyuk Jae's behavior.
“Hmm, my life becomes more colorful because of it,” Da In said while smiling amusedly, “oh! today is my husband's birthday. Would you like to join? We can enjoy the time together afterwards if you feel uncomfortable,” he added excitedly.
Immediately, Da In who was feeling doubtful shook his head slowly.
“It's a special celebration for you two. I don't want to interrupt,” reject it respectfully.
“Come, Brother. At least this is all I can do to repay your kindness. You have taught me many things to make Hyuk Jae happy and also taught me to cook well until finally it can be like this,” Da In persuaded.
And in the end, the persuasion made memDa In succumb. That night, Hyuk Jae's birthday is celebrated with excitement, though his occasional uncomfortable look is directed at Da In, their new neighbor.
“So, that woman is named Joo Da In?” hyuk Jae asked after stretching out his left arm and letting the Wife lie to him.
“Yap, why? Do you know him? Was she your ex-date during High School? The triplets told me that you really like going to clubs, getting drunk and flirting with women during High School,” Da In's scolding while tightly hugging Hyuk Jae who was lying on his back by his side.
“Those delinquents always speak the origin. How can I change women if I have never dated,” Hyuk Jae said.
Da In immediately sat down and looked at her upset husband who immediately smiled amusedly and then pulled her slowly to lie back down.
“Not drunk but, indeed I can not stand drinking alcohol and the women just drove out. You must have known me, too, you know if I really didn't like anyone getting into my car. Although I used to be naughty but, I never once touched women carelessly and still keep my chastity is also very appreciative of women. Remembering, I was also born from the womb of a woman, dear to my older sister and beloved to my niece. So, how could I behave a no-no,” Hyuk Jae explained affectionately, “do you believe?” he added while staring at Da In who had hugged him again.
Da In shook his head quickly while making a smile.
“Good, don't believe me,” Hyuk Jae said as he hugged and kissed Da In's forehead with anxiety.
“Oh, briefly!”
Suddenly Da In exclaimed, then jumped out of bed and unloaded her dresser drawer and rushed back to lie down Hyuk Jae's arm after thrusting a photo at her which was immediately astonished.
“What is this?” hyuk Jae asked with a frown after noticing the photo.
“Really?”
Da In nodded excitedly after Hyuk Jae handed back the photo.
“What kind of man would do this to her. Surely she's a female player,” Da In's scolding while putting the photo to the table on the side of the bed.
Hyuk Jae just smiled gently and hugged her tightly.
“Leave it alone, it's his life. You still need to learn a lot and meet a lot of people before judging someone. Better we go to sleep, later I wake up for my midnight gift,” Hyuk Jae said as he closed his eyes with a mischievous smile adorning his face.
“Isss, you really like to disturb my sleep,” Da In's nagging while boasting a smile.
“Not disturb sleep but, your voice is the reason. If we live in the house of Father and Mother, most likely every night they will wake up because of the sound of cats partying.”
Da In, who finally smiled amusedly, immediately patted Hyuk Jae's shoulder slowly, which was still closed with a smile that he held.
“Your voice is unstable and..”
“Already, we are sleeping,” snapped Da In slowly.
Although the sentence was broken, Hyuk Jae still smiled and hugged the wife who had turned her back to him because she was embarrassed.
“Night Miss Cat, I love you,” she said as she slowly kissed Da In's head.
“Mmm, me too,” Da In said before finally falling asleep in her husband's arms.
As if they had only been sleeping for a few minutes, a dazzling beam of light appeared from the opening of the curtain and hit Hyuk Jae's face. It made him squirm for a moment before deciding to wake up, and forced him to move in a semi-conscious state. His forehead was wrinkled because the light was right about his retina. After knowing the light that turned out to be from the rotary lights of the roof of the next building, he immediately close the end of the curtain.
He who only wore gray training pants without a T-shirt covered his upper body and automatically showed his perfect muscles, it smiled after turning to look at his wife who was still sleeping naked from behind the thick blanket that covered her. He went back to lying on the bed and then slowly peeked at Da In's shoulder and made him jerk. However, a smile again rose on his face when he saw his wife's reaction, before then stepping out towards the kitchen.
The hiccups on the ice water came to a halt as the sound of knocking on the door from outside their apartment. His forehead wrinkled again after seeing the wall clock that showed at 3:00 in the morning. But, after putting his ice water bottle back into the refrigerator, he rushed towards the door and opened it. Out of nowhere, the extremely sexy red-clothed, tight-fitting female figure instantly barged in and hugged her tightly.
“He, hey, what the fuck in..hmph!”
A rough and lustful kiss landed on Hyuk Jae's lips trying to break away to see the face of the woman covered in her thick long hair.
“Cha Hyuk Jae?”
The sound of a very real soft reprimand was clearly heard in Hyuk Jae's ears and made him push the woman strongly. He turned to look at his wife who was already wearing a short black nightgown staring intently at him with both eyes reddened.
“You're a real jerk, I didn't think you were forcing me in to satisfy your lust!”
Hyuk Jae's eyes widened as he turned around and saw clearly the face of the woman who was scolding him. The woman came out with tears from their apartment after a glimpse of hateful gazing at Da In who was still standing behind Hyuk Jae and crying in silence.
The situation really traps Hyuk Jae who is in shock, between having to chase after the woman or explain everything to Da In after he had turned to the door that was slowly closing, which was not the case, before turning around again looked at his wife who could only be fixated with a wet face.
“Da, Da In, I can explain. Ak, I really don't know why at..”.
Immediately, Da In raised both of his hands as Hyuk Jae slowly approached and almost touched her. He shifted from his starting place with increasingly sobbing into a silence of his anger.
“You, stay here. Stay in this place! Don't chase me! Don't explain anything! I don't need your babble! I don't need anything else, I just want to get divorced tonight!” yelled Da In who immediately ran after opening the apartment door violently.
“Yoo Da In, I can explain!” yelled Hyuk Jae who rushed after him.
The door of the apartment in front of them opened when Hyuk Jae came out and revealed the figure of Da In, their neighbor who looks half sleepy in his nightgown. She is so shocked when she sees Hyuk Jae's condition without clothes stopping at the door of her apartment.
“Mr Cha, what's up?” ask Da In.
However, only a momentary snide look was given before running back after his wife who had entered the elevator.
Yoo Da - In…
My voice seemed to echo when a beam of light that was out of nowhere suddenly covered my gaze. As if it didn't give me a chance to hold back his movement as soon as I got in front of the elevator door, and put a limit on my yelling that repeatedly tried to summon Da In from the outside.
But, among all the emotions that constrained us, there was a very real nightmare when the explosion without warning came close, breaking all my efforts banged on the door after repeatedly pressing the button on the side of the elevator to open it. The entire apartment building shook violently and I, we, was surrounded by smoke from upstairs.
Hyuk Jae, do you hear me? Hyuk Jae, I'm scared…
At the same time, it was heard so clearly in my memory that Da In's frightened voice cried out that he was trapped in the elevator because he lost his function. Regardless of Da In's figure, it was our new neighbor who tried to pull me out to the emergency exit. With a chaotic feeling, I grabbed the fire hydrant behind me and struck hard at the elevator door that instantly bent, giving a slight gap for my finger to enter in order to forcefully open it.
Several times Da In pulled me but, I still did not care and continued to try to open the elevator door even though the building debris began to hurt my shoulders as well as part of my upper body that was not covered by anything. There was no pain and pain that I felt when my whole mind and my heart were focused only on the wife that I loved so much.
However, the other pain came and felt as it burned my entire organs as the elevator box slid down without warning and fell heavily before I managed to open it.

That's all I can shout, even I can't imagine what happened after all I haven't been able to explain. At that moment, everything was blurred along with my body that was squeezing, the building almost collapsed and I felt someone pull me to get out of the building that again shook stronger than before.
The incident made me feel more uneasy after realizing that I survived despite being crushed by the ruins for 48 hours in a critical condition, and lack of blood and broken bones throughout the body. I just wanted to run to save my wife back then but, all told otherwise after a rescue team car took me and went to a very far place, leaving Korea as well as my Da In…
