***Hamburg*, Germany, Asklepios Barmbek Clinic, September 9, 2016**...
After the elevator on the third floor, a
white hallway with two rooms facing each other. First room door
it says “Director” however, there is not a single person in it. Only a free space with a high shelf filled with medical books on all three corners and a large desk with minimal attention.
Meanwhile, on the door of the second room read a warning “Patients
Special! No Entry Except for
Of interest!”. In the room there was a soft blue sofa and in
here, the figure of a patient wrapped in bandages with many life support tools attached to almost his entire body.
Attached to a medium-sized plaster on the right cheek is also the forehead of the Patient who is lying down with his eyes closed. Silent, as if there were no signs of life but, a long-haired woman in her doctor's distinctive white coat was seen sitting on the side of the patient's bed. With a reading book on his lap, it sounded
the voice of the Woman is reading the contents of the book in very fluent Korean.
“...And after experiencing a long sleep, Princess Aurora finally woke up because of a Prince's true kiss with the sincerity of his love. They were married and lived happily ever after.”
In her soft voice, the Woman ended the story in the book. He put his book on the side table of the patient's bed. On his doctor's coat embedded nametag that reads “dr. Joo Da In”'s.
A moment in silence, Da In began to gently caress the brown-haired patient's head and appeared thick before him. A sincere smile was clearly visible as he looked at the face of the Patient who did not respond to it in the least.
“Hyuk Jae, when will you wake up? I miss very much.”.
His soft voice came back and was almost gone, his sentence was interrupted with both eyes that were now twinkling. He was bowed while gently grasping the hand of the patient named “Hyuk Jae”.
“Hyuk Jae, please wake up,”.
Just a few seconds and her sobs broke, filling the luxurious treatment room.
I was probably good, even very good at the time of the accident. But, because of the large number of people
the one who wanted to escape from the building made Hyuk Jae detach
from my grip and hit by the ruins that almost destroyed the whole
his body. However, from everything that has happened, I just want Hyuk Jae to survive.
And right, I hope it gets done. The team you sent from Germany managed to find Hyuk Jae first from the members of the Korean Rescue Team. Despite a lack of blood and a complete fracture of the body after 48 hours of rubble but, with more than enough medical equipment, we were able to repair parts of his body
who suffered damage.
This year, all of his organs will be back even if they are not as perfect as expected. But, his heart that had been beating for six years, did not show the slightest sign of his consciousness. Hyuk Jae must be aware, because I no longer need anything related
with Cha Joo Hyuk after that incident…
“Hmm, has anyone called me?”
In a white room decorated with various flowers, Hyuk Jae's forehead seemed wrinkled after throwing the confused question and making his comic reading stop for a moment. He turned his head to and fro, looked around before then blinked a few times and refocused on reading.
Cha Hyuk Jae's.
A heavy voice that blew softly in his ear, making him suddenly closed for a moment before suddenly throwing
the comic is pretty strong to the right side.
“Heiii..”.
The annoyed screams of a woman instantly shook the room until some flowers fell on Hyuk Jae's head. However, not the slightest bit did he care for the woman who looked at him cynically while rubbing the tops of her flushed nose. Back Hyuk Jae picked the comic off the shelf after getting up with an innocent face.
“Do you want to die?”
The ugly-faced woman asked annoyedly while following the steps of Hyuk Jae who has now sat down and focused again with his new comic.
“Hwang Chang Mi, I'm dead and don't even care where my body is still looking for Joo Hyuk. If you want to decide the day, do it now. Heaven or Hell, just do it according to their orders to you,” Hyuk Jae's scolding is flat.
Hyuk Jae's strange reaction made the ugly Woman named “Hwang Chang Mi” rushed to transform into a very beautiful and graceful person with a pair of wings on her back. Until Chang Mi innocently felt every inch of her face, Hyuk Jae still looked calm and uncaring.
“You are sick, your body is cold,” Chang Mi said.
Like magic, a medicine box suddenly appeared before him but, Hyuk Jae remained indifferent. As if he had gotten so used to everything that happened, he let Chang Mi do as she pleased.
Until a few minutes later, a smile full of pride was engraved on the face of the beautiful woman. It was clear that she felt happy after patting Hyuk Jae's right cheek and forehead with a pink plaster of character.
“O.K. In a moment, the handsome Cha Hyuk Jae will recover,” he said cheerfully.
A moment of a wide smile that was very carefree was lingering as he looked at the face of Hyuk Jae who still remained flat and did not react to him. Till…
“You...is fine?”
Doubtfully, however, the question remained on his lips and slowly his smile faded as he looked at Hyuk Jae who was now enjoying the lollipop on the table, not the slightest hint of flinching. Until a second later, she disappeared with a feeling of disappointment enveloped and Hyuk Jae who could feel her absence remained unreacted.
Meanwhile, Chang Mi who had been sitting with a dashing man in black coat on the edge of the shower pool with a soft soothing fragrance, seemed to be silent for a moment among the various kinds of beautiful flowers that surrounded the very spacious courtyard with
the soft white fog.
“Haaa...how could the cheerful Hyuk Jae silence me like that? Am I wrong, Michael?”
The man named “Michael” by his side remained silent and looked so calm. Although flat but, a thin smile full of love was clearly engraved on his face after hearing Chang Mi question.
“Aibi Hwang!!”
The screams followed by the presence of the girl from behind the large gate and the towering height that opened, suddenly made their minds and their eyes diverted.
“Lee Hyo Joo?” michael said slowly.
The sweet girl exclaimed again as she stood before those shrouded in confusion.
His breathing was breathless but, his carefree smile did not fade after hugging Chang Mi
michael also took turns.
“Hyo Joo, why? What happened?” asked Chang Mi curiously.
“See this!”
The girl named “Hyo Joo” said as she handed a piece of paper to Chang Mi who immediately read it with Michael.
“I'm back, Aunt Hwang, Uncle Mike. I will come back and live longer with my parents,” Hyo Joo exclaimed as she jumped for joy.
It didn't take long for Chang Mi and
Michael finished the reading, before then a warm hug they gave
at Hyo Joo who was so excited that her face turned red.
“Congratulations. This is a Chuseok gift for you as well as your parents,”, Michael said, smiling gently.
“Thank you, I will go tomorrow,” said Hyo Joo cheerfully, “I have to say goodbye to Hyuk Jae,” he added that then will run to the magnificent gold-plated building behind them.
But, Hyo Joo's steps instantly came to a halt as Michael suddenly grabbed her wrist. The action of the figure of a man full of authority was certainly inviting to ask for Chang Mi as well as Hyo Joo who was in contact with her with a frown.
No words were spoken but, his calm gaze fixed on one of the spaces on the top floor automatically made Chang Mi and Hyo Joo to turn their eyes in the same direction. Now, they can see clearly Hyuk Jae's shadow with glowing red eyes from behind the soft blue-covered window.
“Aibi, Hyuk Jae's eyes.”
Hyo Joo's sentence was interrupted, she gulped strongly before finally being bowed in cold sweat and trying to avoid Hyuk Jae's gaze which made almost her entire body tremble. Michael who was still holding Hyo Joo's wrist felt the reaction and immediately rubbed his back gently.
“It's okay. Don't be afraid,” he said calmly.
“Ba, even the Angel of Destiny's Record did not dare to disturb his life. Ja, so, how can a spirit be as perfect as Hyuk Jae
have eyes like that?”
Not believing what he saw in Hyuk Jae's figure, Hyo Joo's body was weakened because fear began to run through his heart and mind as his eyes fell
getting deeper.
“Not as you imagined, it's just an angry reaction stored up all this time,” Michael said quietly.
“Since arriving here, the whole space of kindness received it. He also received special treatment and space. Ta, but, how could it be ter..”
THE TAR! BOOM UP!
“Kyaaa..”.
A huge lightning bolt suddenly grabbed and knocked down one of the trees in the park, surprising them to the point of making Hyo Joo scream.
“Ke, why? Hyuk, Hyuk Jae? Pa, Uncle, Aunt, kebaika tree.”.
“Go now. Don't mind what's going on and be prepared for your return. We'll give your regards to Hyuk Jae later.”
With fear growing increasingly enveloped, Hyo Joo who was already covered in tears nodded quickly and obeyed Chang Mi's orders which still seemed calm.
“Be, give this chocolate to her. Say also if God loves him very much,” said Hyo Joo in a hoarse voice.
Chang Mi smiled softly as she welcomed her gift before she finally dashed towards the giant gate and disappeared behind the mist. For a moment, Chang Mi's gaze shifted to Michael who was looking at the giant tree in the corner of the courtyard.
Silence, until a gray mist enveloped the tree and made it stand again as well as intact as before. A moment later the two looked back at Hyuk Jae who was still staring at them with red eyes that were getting fiercer.
“He came without a good memory, only partly about his past mischief and was not told about his still beating heart. From the beginning, this task has been very difficult for me as well
it is him who has to go through all of them one by one. But, five months ago I had to make him see the terrible events that had been forgotten. And now, I understand why he doesn't care about me,” explains Chang Mi who looks more dignified than usual.
“I hope it only takes a minute to make it better. Because until the tree of kindness I returned, no orders came,” Michael said flatly.
“Entah but, the voice of the girl who called
his name was quite draining some of my energy because it had to hold its footing. The call was weak and not as strong as Yoo Da In's call however, being able to make Hyuk Jae slightly move in his subconscious. Her voice looks like a fragrant Rose Flower that is very tempting.”
Chang Mi's explanation this time made Michael turn his gaze to her with a probing look. For a moment he seemed to think while looking at Chang Mi who was still looking at Hyuk Jae before then looking back in the same direction.
“What anger Hyuk Jae has to do with it?” ask Michael.
“I don't know. But, all those here have also experienced a sense of betrayal even though they do not remember and know what happened.”
“He hasn't remembered everything.”
They fell silent again looking at Hyuk Jae who did not change his position at all. Long time, until finally Chang Mi sighed hard enough and made Michael turn his gaze to her again.
“Hehehe, I think for the next few weeks he will not obey my orders,” he said, grinning at Michael.
“Same case as Do Joon and Ha Rin.”
“Ng,” said Chang Mi while nodding slowly, “but, I don't expect a child
it's like them.”
And slowly the two disappeared together engulfed in a gleaming purple mist.
People say there are three things we should avoid in this world. That is, the heartache of a woman, the anger of a quiet person and the anger of a cheerful person…
