HOT BILLIONAIRE

HOT BILLIONAIRE
Ribs Will Never Be Swapped

Lyca was silent and lowered her head as her family gathered and talked about her future without asking her what she thought.

“Why don't you guys want a fancy wedding, Rud?” ask a middle-aged woman in her fifties who still looks beautiful who is now enjoying dinner with kofte, bacon, and a cup of typical Turkish tea.

“It would be great if your wedding could be like The Royal Wedding. You two will be as handsome and beautiful as prince and princess.”

“Lyca is still in college, Auntie. I don't want this marriage to interfere with his college concentration.”

The woman smiled broadly, “Oh. Call auntie with Mommy. And Mommy agrees with you. How, do you agree to it too, honey?”

Her husband looked up from his plate indifferently, “Ya,” replied the man briefly who then refocused on finishing the food before him.

The woman walked past a row of luxurious tadpole chairs and stopped right next to a handsome man sitting at the end of the dining table.

“How about you, Alex?” implied anxiety in the tone of the voice of the woman named Dessy Dwayne Malik. “Do you also agree with their decision?”

The handsome man named Alexander turned his head then smiled faintly, “If they had decided like that, we could what, Auntie?”

Alex glanced at Lyca who was sitting to his left. The girl just toyed with her knife and fork with a blank look. He seemed to be daydreaming about something, evident from his body's gesture that seemed stiff and his eyes were only fixed in one direction.

Alex touches Lyca's hand on the dining table gently, “Why are you daydreaming, Lyca?”

The girl replied to Alex's delicate touch of hand then shook her head slowly, “It's okay, Brother. I'm fine.”

“Do you agree with our family's decision to hasten this marriage?”

Lyca squeezes Alex slowly, trying to channel her feelings that she is unable to express through words.

His head nodded slowly. Very slow. There is hardly any movement if it is not really noticed.

“Kakak, i.”.

“Alex,” says Aunt Dessy Sharp. “Why do you have to ask her again when the wedding is in sight?”

“Why Aunt? Lyca has the right to say what she thinks of this marriage?”

Dessy sighed, “Isn't it in our family that women's opinions aren't needed, Alex?”

“But..”.

“Dessy's right, Alex. Their marriage was decided and they waited for the day. Opinion Lyca no longer needed here,” cut Teyze Risma quickly.

Alex raises his eyebrows, “Teyze, those who will live this marriage for life. Not Aunt Dessy or Teyze Risma. So, let them express their opinion.”

Teyze Risma frowned, “Since when, our family traditions changed, Alex? Since you married the woman of your choice?”

Alex's facial sharpness slowly turned hardened, “Teyze, this has nothing to do with Rianti. I just don't want to, Lyca is having this wedding by force.”

“And you will oppose your Baba's decision? Which even Buyuk Anne already approved of this marriage. What more do you want, Alex?”

Aunt Dessy's eyes blinked, “Lyca must have agreed to this marriage, Alex.”

Teyze nodded, “Ya. You're right, Dessy. It's Alex, there's no need to argue. Then, what about their wedding preparations, Paul, honey?”

Paul Dwayne Malik – Lyca—'s dad raised his face back then smiled, “Already. Everything is ready, Brother.”

Teyze Risma who sat in front of her younger brother, sipped a cup of her favorite greentea and smiled back while looking at Rud, “Are you not the only granddaughter of the company owner Dinata Group?”

“Ya.”

Teyze Risma seemed to think for a moment, “And you have not been involved in a scandal with any woman so far, Rud?”

“Yes. What's the matter, Teyze?”

Teyze Risma blinked one eye, “And you're sure, don't have a sexual orientation?”

“Uhuk... uhuk.

Lyca was shocked. Immediately he poured the drinking water into Rud's nearly empty glass.

“Be careful, Mas.”

Alex stared at his aunt with one of her eyebrows raised high. I can't understand the way the woman thinks.

“What does Teyze mean?”

As if nothing had happened, Teyze Risma chewed on her coffees slowly, “Rud, the sole heir of a large company, there had never been a scandal with women, nor did she have any sexual abnormalities. If he's a man who's almost perfect, why delay this marriage? Isn't that right, Lyca? You should get married tomorrow!” exclaimed Teyze Risma who is now successful in making Lyca get a choking turn.

“Be careful, Lyca,” Rud said as he helped the girl drink.

Alex looked at his cousin's sister wistfully, “You can tell me, whatever you think, Lyca? Take it easy, I will always support you.”

Lyca was stunned for a moment then smiled sadly, “Kakak. Actually.. I. Actually, I don't want to get married. Maybe later after I graduate college.”

“What?” Teyze Risma squinted her eyes, “You stupid woman!”

“Are you not mistaken to waste a man who has a trait like that?”

“Sayar sister,” Paul stroking her brother's hand gently.

“How can I be patient, Paul? Invitations are already printed and will soon be spread.”

“Lyca, what do you mean? Didn't you approve of this marriage?” ask Dessy to her daughter.

“When Mom asks me if I agree to it or not? Mom took care of the wedding plans herself without asking for my opinion."

“And you, Rud?” dessy asked Rud without heeding her daughter's protest. “You still want this wedding to go according to plan, don't you?”

Rud puffed his breath. The man seemed to think for a moment before answering. “I agree with Lyca, Auntie. Maybe we should postpone this wedding plan until Lyca graduates from college or when she is really ready.”

Dessy sighed softly. The woman turned her gaze toward Alex with a pleading gaze, “Alex, you better persuade your sister. Everything is going according to plan. I'm afraid, if this marriage fails and sticks out to the public. Don't let this be a big scandal and will embarrass our big family name.”

Teyze rolled both her eyeballs, “What did I say? Why should you ask their opinion? Just prepare, and have them go through. Without rebuttal.”

“This wedding is for the lifetime of Teyze. This is not a game,” denies Lyca bored.

“Who said it was a game. Never refute parents, Lyca!” sentak Dessy growled.

“You're getting disrespectful! Since when do you dare to fight? Ever since you hung out with that country lady?”

“Who did Aunt tell the village woman?” the sound of baritone seemed to be able to make anyone's heart rustle . The voice of a man who has a firm but sensual voice exudes awe and charisma that amazes, making anyone shrink to hear it.

His breathing was still roaring due to a mispronunciation not until a minute ago.

Unknowingly, the woman who still looks beautiful at her age, which has almost half a century, hooked a child's hair that fell on the ear.

In the heart blame Alex's whereabouts that makes his heart now no longer beat normally.

“What does Auntie mean, my wife?”

Dessy snapped out of her mind as those greenish-blue eyes stared at her intently. Makes his heart jump back up and down.

“No... of course not, Alex,” answered gulped. “Isn't that so, My Husband?”

“Ya.”

There was the sound of Deheman forcing all the attention back to Alex. The eyes of the blue sea color were glistening coldly.

“If Lyca really does not want to get married. Never force it.”

“Ta-but A-alex..”

Alex held back a smile when he heard the female squeak beside him.

“Nothing but. I will take care of all,” Alex stared at everyone present in the dining room intensely.

All could only sit upright and stiff while gulping no one dared to refute.

“Tommy!”

A teary-eyed man comes in throngs, “Yes, Sir?”

“Urus all wedding annulments Lyca and Rud. Tomorrow we return to Telunas,” Alex stands. Breaking off intense gazes and turning over.

"Well sir," Tommy looked down deeply.

The man then walked leisurely away from the dining room - followed by Tommy-- - towards the brown wooden door and then closed the door loudly.

Lyca. She was ready when Mommy and her aunt spoke sharp words to her.

However, the girl was a little able to breathe a sigh of relief while looking at the door of the study that was now closed not far from the dining room.

“I'm done. I was going back to the room,” Lyca turned her head towards Rud. The man was also looking at her with a shady smile. Like an oasis in the desert. The man nodded his head and also prepared to move.

“Who said you can go back to your room?” that deep voice made Lyca flinch, as did Rud.

“Teyze not finished talking.”

Lyca gulped while Rud only sighed. The two of them sat back in place facing Teyze who was staring at them intently.

“You must tell Alexander that you agreed to this marriage. It was the Emir who set you up, but Buyuk Anne agreed. Do not allow the cancellation of the marriage. Or Buyuk Anne will be angry.”

"But, didn't you just cancel everything? Isn't that right, Dad?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Paul," Teyze Risma glared. "And don't ever argue with me, Lyca!"

“Good,” replied Lyca firmly, “I'll tell Big Brother, that Teyze forced me to agree to it.”

"You?!"

Teyze's brows furrowed briefly before she again snorted and threw her sharp gaze at Dessy.

“This is all because you guys spoiled him too much! I'm not gonna defend you in front of Buyuk Anne, Dessy. Catch that!”

Lyca breathed a sigh of relief and followed Rud out of the room after Teyze and her parents returned to their rooms each in a fit of rage, - except for Paul, of course. Because Paul Dwayne Malik is a minimally expressionless man with his face as flat as an ironing board.

The handsome man walked in leisurely but still made sure Lyca followed in his footsteps until they arrived at Lyca's doorstep.

“Rest,” the gentleman opened the door making Lyca hold her breath.

“Mas Rud, not angry?”

“Why angry?”

“Because I canceled this wedding.”

“Of course not. I don't want you stuck with me when I haven't completely forgotten Rosa. I don't want to forget women by hurting other women's feelings. Until the time that will answer everything.”

The beautiful girl nodded. A smile finally appeared on his face.

“Thank you.”

“My pleasure,” Rud shuffling Lyca hair. “Hopefully each of us will find the true meaning of love.”

“Yah. Hopefully.”

The handsome man smiled and immediately disappeared behind the door, leaving Lyca still glued to her place.

May Mas Rud be right.

Lyca believes that if he is a match, the ribs will never be changed. But if not, may she find the true meaning of love from the man who truly loves her. And that's all, only time will tell.
