"Can you borrow me some money?" tanyanya and she bowed in shame because for the rest of her life, Samantha had just borrowed money from someone else.

"Well, I need that money in two days, if you're not there it's okay. I'll try to borrow it with the others."

"Why don't you try to borrow it with the manager, who knows if he can lend it to you."

Samantha saw her best friend, Vide Amber wasn't bad. Maybe he should try to borrow money from his manager.

"I'll try" he said later.

"Sorry can't help you Sam."

Amber said that because she was not happy with her best friend.

Samantha just smiled knots, later after returning home from work she had to meet her manager to try to borrow money.

"Alright, let's get back to work." he asked.

He immediately knocked on the door of his manager's room and from inside there came the voice of a man.

"Lake in."

Without hesitation Samantha opened the door of the room and went inside.

"Night, Mr Ray?" answer it politely.

"Samantha what's necessary?" ask the young manager.

"Sorry to interrupt your time, I just?"

Samantha stopped her words because she was so awkward to say them.

"Sit down, don't be so awkward" said the man.

"Thank you" Samantha replied politely.

"So what's necessary?" ask manager.

"Don't call me master, I'm still young. Just call my name." ask the manager while Samantha nods.

"So you're here to borrow money?"

Samantha nodded back Because that was her goal.

"How much do you need?"

"Two thousand dollars." replied Samantha with embarrassment.

Ray looked at the woman closely, Samantha had not long been an employee there why had dared to borrow money.

"But if you can't lend it out, that's fine" said the woman again.

"Who said I can't lend

for you?" ask Ray anyway.

Samantha just silently looked at the man. He wanted to disappear from there because in the dictionary of his life Samantha Jackson would never humble herself to borrow money from others.

But today he really had to do it and kick his pride all the way for the sake of a child who was not his flesh blood.

"So you want to lend me?" ask him impatiently.

He could not wait for the conversation to be over.

"What can I get?" ask manager.

"You mean?" tanyanya did not understand.

"What kind of money can I get as a guarantee?"

"Sorry, I can't give you anything. But I won't run away and will definitely pay for it." replied the woman.

"There's no guarantee, I can't lend it to you" the manager declined.

Samantha immediately felt disappointed, that much money of course her manager would not give it.

"But if you want a one-night date with me, I'll probably give you one" the man said.

Samantha closed her eyes and clenched her hands to try to calm down before her manager. He would never do such a stupid thing.

"Sorry Ray, I turned out to be asking the wrong person for help."

Samantha immediately got up, she did not want to linger in the room anymore.

"Wait!" call Ray and stop his steps.

"Sam, I'm just kidding with you, sit back" the man said.

Samantha followed her manager and sat back in her seat.

"I'll lend you the money, my personal money and not use the cafe's money."

"But...!" her manager stopped her speech and looked at the woman sharply

Hearing that Samantha felt a little relieved.

"But what?" tanyanya.

"You must accompany me to dinner" said the man again.

Samantha looked at the man, she did not understand why she had to take him to dinner.

"But Ray?"

"Don't refuse or not at all" said the man quickly cutting off his words.

Samantha nodded in agreement to the terms of her manager.

"Even dinner, it shouldn't matter more than not getting the money" he thought to himself.

"All right, I agree, just dinner" he replied.

Rey smiled, the man immediately took out his wallet and picked up a card there.

"This, in this card there are two thousand dollars. You can return it whenever you have money" the man said, handing Samantha the card.

Samantha was truly relieved, her efforts were not in vain.

"Thank you Ray."

Samantha takes the card given by her manager.

"Of course, remember the dinner appointment." said the man with a smile.

Samantha nodded and immediately walked out of the room.

Money matters for Edward's hospital expenses have been settled, now he has to go to the hospital to look after the little man.
