Samantha went into her apartment and was shocked to see her father sitting on the sofa, his father glared at her return.

He thought his father was asleep but somehow the man was still there, looking at him intently.

"Dad, why haven't you slept?" ask Samantha.

Alex Jackson stood up and without saying anything Alex Jackson immediately raised his hand and slapped Samantha in the face.

Samantha screamed and held her hot face.

"Do you think I can sleep after what you've done?" shouted the old man.

Ana Jackson who was in the room immediately ran out to hear the screams of her husband, she was also very surprised to see her daughter there and was holding her face.

"What did I do until daddy dared to hit me?" scream Samantha.

Samantha held her cheek again and cried.

"Princess brash, it feels like I want to beat you to death! Leaving the house refusing the arranged marriage I had prepared, not only humiliated me, but you instead slept with an obscure man and bore a child? Where do I put my face now?" alex Jackson was full of emotion.

"Samantha, why are you doing this?" her mother asked in disbelief while Samantha still wiped away her tears.

"Samantha try to explain, who is the father of your child and where is your child?" her father asked her with emotion.

"Now daddy's asking for my explanation? Daddy dared to hit me twice without hearing any further! Now what's it doing?"

Samantha rubbed her tears continuously, she hated her father's attitude.

"Samantha, now explain to mommy, what do you mean?" ask mother.

Ana Jackson nodded while Alex Jackson glared at his wife and daughter and tried to hold back his emotions.

"Mom, I do have a child but he's not my son, I found him and adopted him" she explained.

"Look, even something like this you don't ask us, can or shouldn't adopt a child?" alex Jackson said again with annoyance.

"Is that necessary? While daddy never asked me if I want to be betrothed or not?! Did daddy ever ask me whether I like it or not!"

"You!!" Alex Jackson could not answer his daughter's questions.

"Daddy always decided as he did three years ago, not asking me if I wanted to or not! I've been living my life well for three years without asking daddy for help, I went through my own efforts but why did daddy come and suddenly match me with Frans without asking again? Without telling and without caring about my feelings!"

Samantha wiped her tears, it felt like her struggle for three years had gone to waste because of her unchanging father.

"Sam, listen to me, Frans is a good man because that's why daddy betrothed you to him." said his father.

Samantha pulled her lips, smiling sinisterly. Honestly, he was lazy to hear it.

"Dad, don't be fooled by him, Frans isn't a good person."

"What do you mean?" ask father.

"I heard that Frans Rional, no! His real name is Frans Leonardo, he is a mean and cruel man" he said.

"Samantha, you don't slander Frans, I won't believe it!"

Semantha begins to tell her father who Frans really is, as Jhon tells her, so does she tell her father.

He even asked his father to stay away from Frans and not to get in touch with him again but his father's reaction was completely unexpected.

Alex Jackson laughed heartily at his daughter's story, he couldn't believe what Samantha had said.

"It turns out that for three years you've been away from home not only makes you clever at deceiving but you're also good at making up stories now!" father says.

Samantha was stunned, not believing her father's reaction. She thought her father would believe her, but it turns out?

"Of course, you don't know who Jhon Smith is. You're so good at spouting his name so I can believe that you can relate to someone greater than Frans!" answer his father

"Damn it! If I knew it would be like this, I would hold Jhon here." Samantha said in her heart.

"Dear, stop! Don't just say people's names because it's not good, thankfully there's only us here" Ana Jackson said

"Look at your daughter, she's really good at lying now!"

Samantha took a breath and closed her eyes.

"I know you're saying this so I can cancel this matchmaking with Frans, I don't know whether the adoption of the child is right or not but listen to my words! Fransi likes you so meet her and get in touch with her" Alex Jackson said.

"What's? Dad! I told you I didn't want Frans. I told you I have a boyfriend, too, why don't you guys believe me?"

"Samantha!" alex Jackson's screams filled the small apartment room.

"Just play around, I don't want to hear anything!"

Samantha was so upset, why didn't her father trust her.

"I really hate you guys!" samantha shouted and she left her parents.

Samantha went inside her house and slammed Edward's door. She hid there, crying because her parents didn't believe her.

"Dad, I don't think Samantha's joking" Ana Jackson said.

"Let it, all this time he was just playing around. I think he's saying this because he can't forget Mack!"

"But?"

"Have you not seen enough? Ever since Mack left her, Samantha has always kept herself closed off from men, always staying away from men who want to get close to her. I'm doing this so she can forget Mack and open her heart to another man." Alex Jackson said.
