Chapters. 13. Marriages

As time went on, Savitri was already a widow for four months and ten days. And soon the conditions he could marry again were fulfilled. Gandi and his parents had come to Savitri's parents' house to propose to Savitri. Both of Savitri's parents received Gandi's proposal and they had already set the date for her marriage.

One afternoon Savitri got word from his parents that Saturday would come tomorrow because on Sunday Gandi would marry Savitri.

“Now it is Friday, meaning tomorrow the father and mother will come.” muttered Savitri after receiving a call from his mother.Savitri then just kept quiet. He felt a very striking difference.
