Husband's Regrets: Breaking a Thousand

Husband's Regrets: Breaking a Thousand
Chapter 5. Give me a second

Nafa looked at the faces of all his family members while smiling with relief. It has become a habit of his family to enjoy dinner while talking lightly. The goal is to eliminate the silence at the dining table.

It was heartless to leave them in the midst of an unfinished longing. However, Nafa must still leave due to a call from his office. After all, her cut-off period is over.

"Dad, mother, tomorrow Nafa must return to the city" he said with a long sigh. A smile restrained in his lips.

All movement on the dining table stopped. Instead of looking at Nafa with a questionable look.

"Why rush once? I still miss you." Mother, not satisfied with the arrival of Nafa who only briefly. Three days, it was not enough to treat the homesickness that was held for five years. "Can't it be back in a few days?" Tawar mother, hoping Nafa grant her request. There was so much she wanted to share with her daughter.

Nafa clasped her hands on the table. Then smiled as he shook his head slowly and said, "Nafa will come here often. Pray for Nafa, that the work in the city be facilitated."

"Partially, Mba Nafa is doing all the work! Boss husband, rich anyway." Nabil's chirps get an eye shot from dad.

"That's the boss, it's him." Nafa glanced at Ravi who was silent looking at him. "Instead, Mba Nafa is just an ordinary woman trying to change fate. Who knows, that might raise our families a little bit." The next is long. He deliberately said that, to remind Ravi of the words of humiliation that had been said to him first.

"But, the presence of Ravi mas, has raised the degree of our family Mba. We were looked down upon by our neighbors. But now they respect us. And it's all because of Ravi's presence, right?" Nabil expressed his perception. It is true, before Ravi was present in Nafa's life, their family lived within limitations. However, Ravi's presence has changed all their lives. Including the family economy.

"Sst! Nabil! Don't talk about the no-no." Again, I reminded Nabil to be quiet. Yeah! What Nabil said is true. Therefore, he felt he owed a lot to Ravi for helping to change his family's life.

"You're right. But there's no harm in trying. That way, we can give it all back. And our family doesn't have to feel indebted anymore."

Nafa's words made Ravi feel slapped. Does that hate Nafa for her? To the extent that he felt he had to give back everything he had given.

Mom and Dad were lyrically interlocking. He could feel that the relationship between Nafa and Ravi was not good at the moment.

"Emmm, yes, yes. If that's your decision. Mom and Dad can only wish you both the best." Mother accidentally cut off the chat that started to heat up at that time. "Tomorrow to leave at what time?" Ask your mother at the end.

"Morning!" Ravi suddenly. Making Nafa instantly turn to him with a frown. "House has not been in residence for a long time. It must have been very dirty, and I think it took me a while to clean it up. As you know, Nafa doesn't like houses cleaned by other people." Ravi looked at Nafa with a smile. He remembers the first time he moved house. Nafa cleaned and cleaned the house alone. According to Nafa the cleanliness of the house is his responsibility as a wife.

"True, there are many things that Nafa must take care of before entering work the day after." Nafa agreed with Ravi this time. But not to go back home. Let Ravi say anything at this time. He will never return to Ravi's house again.

The dawn prayer had just reverberated, not even dawn had yet risen. But Nafa and Ravi are already sitting in the car ready to return to the city. Nafa's hands waved at his father, mother and Nabil, who were still standing in the courtyard of the house to escort him away.

A long sigh came out of Nafa's mouth as the car drove out of his yard. Then close your eyes for a while so that the tears do not come out.

"Darling, why?" Ravi turned to Nafa for a moment. He could hear the sound of Nafa sobbing on the sidelines of his breath.

"Now it's just the two of us, don't call me baby again!" The breath shrinks the corners of the eyes and nose using tissue taken from the top of the car's dashboard.

"What harm? I really love you." Ravi smiled at him.

"Easy! Stop your charade. When I get to town, I'll take care of our divorce papers!" Saying Ketus Nafa. His head turned towards the side window in annoyance.

They were both like stubborn wars. No one wants to give up and stick to their respective positions.

"Vi, our relationship is very complicated. I can't go on anymore." Nafa turned towards Ravi. In his face the face of the man who was currently focusing on staring at the road.

"I'll unravel that complexity. Give me one more chance."

"I can't, Vi!" I don't know why Nafa's heart is changing so hard and it's hard to forgive. Logically he wanted to, but his heart immediately refused and was even sick of hearing Ravi's apology.

"Why can't it? Is it so hard to forgive me?" Ravi turned to Nafa for a moment. Then refocus on looking at the road. "God is forgiving, why can't you forgive?" Continue with a cold voice.

Nafa closed his eyes while shaking his head weakly. He was tired of arguing. Maybe it's time he gave up.

"Stop!" Nafa cried when he opened his eyes.

Make Ravi immediately turn on the turn light to the left and pull over.

"What's up, honey?" Ravi asked after the car pulled over. In his face Nafa's face with a feeling of uneasiness.

"Eemmm, there's nothing. Take me to Ika's contract." Nafa replied in a soft voice.

"You what? At this hour Ika must have gone to work." Ravi said while looking at the clock on his wrist. Time has shown at nine in the morning. I can be sure I'm already at work.

"Nothing, I called Ika last night."

"Wouldn't we go home and rest?" Ravi tried to offer.

"I'll stay with Ika. So, please take me there." Nafa looked at Ravi Pias.

"What! Why Nafa?" Pekik Ravi looked at Nafa confusedly. He really did not understand the mind of Nafa. "We have a house, right? Why should you trouble others?"

"Please understand, I can't go back to that house." However, Nafa's attempt not to argue failed. Again Ravi raised his voice.

"Do I really not deserve your forgiveness?" Ravi stared back at Nafa. A stern look, as if it managed to open a slight gap in Nafa's heart.

"No, it's not so ...,"

"Then," Ravi cut out Nafa's sentence, looking at her seriously.

"I need some time. Please understand."

"Until when?" Ravi was really disappointed. So great was his guilt that Nafa found it hard to forgive him?
