Upon seeing the two coming out of the room, Raymond immediately walked out of his house and headed towards the castle.
A few minutes later, in the King's room.
*bang Bang!*
Someone was actually brave enough to bang on the king's door while the guards did not even dare to stop the person.
"Brother, Brother! I have good news for you!" A happy voice sounded across the door.
“Hmm? Is that sister-in-law?”
The king slowly opened his eyes after hearing his wife speak.
He got up from his bed and breathed.
"Yes. You better get some more sleep. I'll talk to him for a minute."
"All right."
The king tidied up his messy blue hair and walked towards the door. As soon as he opened it, his hand was pulled and disappeared from the room.
He was dragged to the balcony, so that no one could hear him before Raymond shook his body continuously.
"What's up, Raymond? You know it's very late, right? I still have a meeting tomorrow."
"Sister Carollus, I have news that will keep you awake all night." Raymond grinned, teasing the king.
Carollus Van Zelle Acacia, the king, never expected his sudden arrival, so he could not get excited no matter how he looked at it. It's just full of frustration.
“Talk only. I'm too tired.”
“Hehe... If you knew what I wanted to say, you wouldn't be able to talk like this.” Raymond grunting.
“Alright, alright. It's my fault.” Carollus sighed.
"Good." Raymond shrugged before continuing.
“You know Alicia is back today, right?”
"Yes. He's back in the afternoon if I don't remember wrong."
“My daughter brought home a man. She said the man became her traveling companion because he saved her when they were ambushed by the Orcs.”
"Don't beat around. Just tell me what you want to say because I want to sleep again."
Carollus patted Raymond on the shoulder.
"You're not fun." Raymond sighed.
“I'll just go straight. I used Mana Crystal to test the element, and the element shines in bright red.”
“Is that? Isn't that nice?”
Carollus nodded half asleep. It took him a whole minute before he realized what he had just heard. His sleepy face instantly faded away and was replaced by a sense of amazement. Blinking a few times as if he had misheard, he looked at Raymond with a dumbfounded look.
"Glowed?"
Raymond grinned and nodded.
"Why would I be in such a hurry to come to your palace in the middle of the night if it wasn't for this big news? There's no way I'd be so excited if it was for anything else."
"Is it really a Pure Element?"
Excitement filled Carollus' heart as he burst into laughter.
“Our kingdom has Pure Element? Second Pure Element in history?”
“After our founder, we finally have other Pure Elements.”
Raymond nodded with a wide smile.
“Our founders can't do it, but there is still someone who has the potential to become a God, Brother.”
The king wanted to jump in excitement but held back by shaking Raymond back and forth.
"My brother! Please calm down for a moment."
Raymond chuckled as he would also do this when he learned of Alex's element. But they were all children, so he restrained himself early, and his excitement eased a little, although only a few minutes later the king finally calmed down.
"Raymond, where's the kid? I'll visit him now."
“I don't think that's a good idea? She may be sleeping now because she just came after traveling for a few months with my daughter.”
"ah! I almost forgot."
Carolus took a deep breath.
"Stay still, Pure Element, huh... Heaven bless my Acaci! It was unexpected that we now had another Pure Element. The Kingdom of Zircodina now had a hero, while the Holy Kingdom had a Priestess. I thought Heaven had left us, but a Pure Fire Element User suddenly appeared."
"You're too excited, brother." Raymond smiled.
"Wait on! You said your daughter, right? How is their relationship now? How about marrying your daughter to him? I know about your principles, but there will always be exceptions."
The king glanced at Raymond.
"Ah. How I wish I had a daughter now."
Raymond laughed knowing this would happen.
“It looks like there's a connection between my daughter and her. I thought my daughter would be interested in their hero, but she obviously hated him when I asked her before. Whatever, I don't care anymore because my daughter has liked Alex, so that doesn't mean I'm making an exception for her."
"Indeed right. Now you also get someone who will be successful in this house."
“I don't think it's possible.”
Raymond shook his head and looked at him with a serious expression.
"Eh? Why not?" He scrunched his eyebrows.
“He seems to look at the nobility negatively. Even when I observed him, he looked like someone who loved freedom and wouldn't get caught up in the noble system.” Raymond sighed.
Carollus thought for a moment and said, "Stay, we must master him. If others found out, they would start crowding it. And when that happens, another big family that might rival our royal family will appear."
"I understand. I was planning on asking Alicia to get closer to him." Raymond nodded in agreement.
"That's not enough. I will force a marriage between her and Alicia. Even if Alicia hates me, I'll still do it." Carollus clenched his fists with a sad expression.
“I don't think that's a good idea.”
"No! They may hate me, but that hatred can be eliminated over time. After that, we will be a big family. After all, Alicia didn't know we were planning this, so she should be able to react naturally. I'm sure his charm will be able to melt his heart."
There was not the slightest bit of doubt in Carollus' eyes when he stated this.
"Then, we should take him to the Royal Academy and make the Dean his teacher. After all, he was a rank 8 Fire Witch." Raymond added.
"That's a good idea. Anyway, we can do this..."
Carollus whispered something into his ear before the two smirked as if they had just gotten a perfect plan.
After speaking for another hour, Raymond then left the castle.
…
The next day,
*Tok Tok!*
"Who is this?" Alex reaches the door and opens it. He saw two servants bowing in front of his room.
“We came to guide you to meet Grand Duke.” Said one of the servants.
"alright. I'll prepare myself a little." The master he mentioned must be the Grand Duke, so Alex felt he needed to slightly improve his appearance.
"Let us help you, Mr. Alexander." The servants entered his room.
"Not needed."
Alex still remembers what happened in the bathroom and managed to react before they could help him like yesterday. However, the maids started sweating profusely the moment they asked for it.
Raymond had already instructed them to make sure to serve him well if they did not wish to be fired from the mansion, so they had no choice but to beg of him.
Alex didn't know the reason, but eventually he gave up and let them change clothes.
After exiting the room, the servants guided her to the study room earlier, where she found Alicia, Mia, and Raymond waiting for her.
"Please sit down, Alexander." He pointed to the place beside Alicia.
Unsuspecting she had other intentions, Alex nodded towards Alicia and sat down beside her.
Alicia flinched for a moment because she already knew what they wanted to talk about.
After that, Raymond asked. “What do you think of our Royal Academy?”
"Royal Academy?"
Alex was a little surprised to be asked this question. He looked for a moment and answered honestly.
"Sorry, but I don't know much. As you can see, I am just an ordinary person from the Kingdom of Zircodina.”
“Then, do you want to enter the academy?”
Alex furrowed his brows. If he were to enroll as a student, there might be a possibility to increase his strength in a peaceful environment. This might be more effective than practicing alone, so he thought this was a good opportunity.
“I'd love to.. If that's possible.”
Upon second thought, he was sure that it was impossible for him to enter the academy due to his status.
"Then it's decided. You're gonna sign up this year with Alicia. And call me Uncle from now on." Raymond nodded.
"What?"
Alex was shocked, not expecting the conversation to end just like that.
“Why do you look so surprised, Alex?”
Alicia pouting.
“Did you say you don't want to register with me?”
"No. It's like a dream. I never thought of entering the academy before." Alex shook his head furiously.
"It's okay. You can enter the academy without any problems because I will handle all the problems. Within the academy, I believe you can learn how to utilize your Fire Element... Of course, be careful not to show it to others."
“I understand. Thank you very much.”
Alex repeatedly nodded as excitement filled his heart before he looked towards Alicia.
"Please take care of me."
Alicia smiled brightly.
