"We have finally reached the entrance of the Alisia Forest, son," said the middle-aged leader in a joyous voice.
"Thank you very much."
Alex got off the carriage and slightly bowed his head to the leader.
"It's okay. You may have heard many people say this to you, but please be careful? Although the danger level of this forest is not very high, it is still dangerous."
He looked at her with a sad look as if he did not want to see Alex die like his son.
“I understand. Thank you for your attention.”
Alex nodded with a smile before starting to walk into the forest while waving his hands at her.
After walking for about five minutes, Alex went into the room.
"So, what's my plan right now?" Alex thought as he looked at the trees around him. This was her first time walking around the forest, so she was a little fascinated by its beauty.
"I'll try to kill some monsters first, I guess."
After thinking thoroughly about his next plan and making a decision, he walked aimlessly to search around some weak monsters and found two goblins by the river.
"Can I kill those two goblins? If I assume I can sneak around them, I can kill one of them without keeping watch with my spear. After that, I should be able to kill the others with my sword." Alex pondered for a moment and took a deep breath.
“Can I succeed? No, I'll make it.”
He quietly walked up to the goblins, hiding behind a tree near them. Taking another deep breath, he twisted his body and jumped towards them.
"Ki?!" The goblins noticed it and turned around, but they did not manage to dodge this attack.
He stabbed the goblin's head with his spear.
"That one!"
Without thinking anything, he turned around and slashed his sword right at the neck of another goblin, and made his head fly.
"That's two."
"Well... Huh..."
Alex didn't know why, but his heart was racing. He felt his hands and feet getting weaker.
Suddenly, a foul smell filled his nose, and his body suddenly turned around, filling his gaze with corpses. His body began to feel limp as he fell down before stomach acid somehow rose and filled his mouth. Finally, he vomited. "P-Fruit!"
Blood, body, internal organs were visible from his parts and scattered too clearly for him.
Alex had never thought of this before. No, he had thought of it before, like in a book or anything, but the reality was beyond his imagination. Cold sweat covered his entire body while continuing to pant.
'It... Everything's real.' Alex stood up, walked a few steps back, and rested his back on the tree. 'I didn't have any injuries this time, but one day, I will have those injuries. It hurts even when I accidentally injure myself while cooking. And if all the things written in the book happened, the pain would multiply, and…'
He fell down, shivering on the ground. He once again doubted himself whether he could continue on this path. 'NO! I've chosen this path.I don't know what I'll find at the end of this journey, but I'll just follow whatever I can and get used to this sight and pain.'
"For now, I'll open the system first." Alex took a deep breath before seeing the blue screen appear.
[Gacha Ticket x1]
“Oh... I got the ticket! It's not easy to get the ticket?”
[NO. You are lucky enough.]
"I want to see my status."
[Do you want me to replicate your Status Card? This way, you can see your status without removing that card. You can use it as long as the cards are effective.]
“As long as the card is effective?”
[I can't replicate something broken, can I?]
"Ah. That's what you mean." Alex nodded. Then double it.
[Alright.]

"Oh. I actually got five points. Three in STR, one in AGI, and one in VIT." Alex nodded.
“Stay, it will be difficult to increase my strength by those five points because I need several levels. Compared with exercise for one night.”.
[I know you're happy, but I've scanned the energy from the monsters. The energy is not pure enough, so I do not advise you to take that energy.]
"But how? Doesn't my body accept it automatically?"
[The System can expend energy for you, but you won't get any status points to level up. Asking for your confirmation?]
Alex thought for a moment and sighed. "Please get it out."
[Processing.]

He looked at his status and realized that five points had been lost.
"That means I just need to train myself while killing some monsters to get a Gacha Ticket, right?"
[Basically. You can get levels to cover your current status, so that others won't suspect you.]
"I understand." Alex took a deep breath. "I may not be a worthy Host, but I will work hard."
After taking the decision in his heart, he stood up and walked back to continue his journey in the Alisia Forest.
…
Two months later,
"Haha, another level." Alex laughed happily.
[Why are you laughing? You will not get any status points.]
"System, you don't want me to be happy, do you? Just say it." Alex chuckles.
[There is no such intention. The system just reminds you.]
Alex sighed and opened his status after two months of training.

"People who see my status must think it's weird, right?"
[Yes. According to your manual, Each phase equals one rank. In other words, the Low Phase Body Tempering Stage was equivalent to rank 1, the Middle Phase Body Tempering Stage was equivalent to rank 2, and so on. If other people see your status, they might think you're a hero or something. But I think it'll be bad for you.].
"That's possible. Still, I don't know what to do after these two months. The only thing I know is to go to the Kingdom of Acacia and start a new life. That's why I need to raise my level first until it reaches the normal level. To a certain extent I've gotten used to the pain and I've gotten used to killing as well, I'll go to the Deep Forest then raise my level faster." Alex breathed while walking.
After the next hour, he finally reached the Inner Forest before hearing a loud shouting sound.
"Auuu!"
Alex furrowed his brows and raised his vigilance. He immediately ran towards the voice while grinning happily.
“EXP again.”
He found eight wolves, including their leader. Wolves have an average level of 35 while the leader is level 45. He took a deep breath and calculated the battle plan in his mind.
"If the leader doesn't join the battle first, I can finish them off easily. That's why I'm gonna kill them first. I just wish there weren't any monsters around."
Alex took a deep breath and threw his javelin at one of the wolves, piercing the wolf's head.
"You....!"
The leader howled, ordering the wolves to attack him while watching the group from behind.
Alex immediately entered his fighting position, looking at the two wolves leaping towards him. He took out two swords from his system and slashed at the two wolves.
The remaining wolves rampaged and howled together. Alex took this opportunity to kill the other two wolves before they could react.
The last three wolves showed their fangs and attacked him, but before they could do that, Alex had taken out his spear and thrust it into another wolf while killing the two wolves with his sword. He used this strategy after getting used to the way the wolves moved.
When the leader saw his subordinates dead in an instant, he angrily looked at Alex and charged towards him.
"Hurry-by!"
Alex widened his eyes, realizing that this attack was much faster than his subordinates. Fortunately, he was able to block the sharp fangs, although he was hit by a blow to the back.
He did not want to miss the opportunity and threw Alex down to fall. Alex raised his sword and stopped the wolf's fang before he raised his other hand.
‘I still have another trump card! That's my system!' Alex grinned and drew another sword with his Inventory. 'Extract.'
"Good bye!"
Alex stabs the wolf in the neck until it loses its strength and falls to the ground.
He then pushed the body away and took a deep breath.
“Huft... It's a fierce fight.”
