Chapter 13

Zeria is still unconscious. His helpless self, felt very foreign to everyone. Though usually Zeria is a very active and cheerful child, but seeing it like it feels like it is not real.

"Zeria, please wake up. I can't see you like this, I feel that I'm a stupid brother. I can't protect my sister, I'm a lousy, lousy big brother" Lucas cried as he ruffled his hair, guilt haunting him. Lucas felt that he was the most useless person in the world, because even he could not protect his little brother.

Sound of knocking on the door

"Prince, this is me Reina. I brought the doctor" Reina said from behind the door.

"Come in" Lucas replied in a very lethargic voice.

Reina opened the door and went into the room, with the doctor and the boy.

"Excuse me prince, can I check on the Princess now?" The doctor approached and spoke to Lucas slightly lowered his head.

"Yes" Lucas wiped his tears and quickly walked away.

The doctor examined Zeria with a serious face, but there was something strange about the state of Zeria.

"Prince, it doesn't seem like it's an ordinary symptom" the doctor said.

"What do you mean?" Lucas was confused and worried about his brother's situation.

"Yes, the state of the Princess is unusual. The Princess' heartbeats sounded strange, her voice almost inaudible. Usually I can hear the sound of a heartbeat very clearly, but when I examined the Princess, the sound of her heartbeat sounded very faint" The doctor spoke while rubbing his chin and thought very hard.

"What's? How did that happen?" Lucas was increasingly concerned about his brother's situation.

"I don't know Prince either" The doctor lowered his head.

"Your Majesty!!" A secretary Louise shouted and opened the door of her room loudly.

"What's wrong? Do you want to die? You opened the door of the emperor's study without knocking?" Louise looks angry at her sectarian behavior.

"Pardon me! But there is something more important, Your Majesty!" Although the man was afraid of Louise, he continued his words without hesitation.

"What's wrong?" Louise felt astonished, actually what happened until her secretary hastened so.

"The princess fainted after bleeding from her nose and mouth. Now the Princess is in the Prince's room, but the Princess is still unconscious" The man ended his words in haste.

"What?!" Louise was surprised to hear the words of her secretary, she immediately stopped her hand writing the document and left her desk. "Please take care of my work first! I'll be back after my business is done" Louise goes straight to Lucas' room with a run, because she's surprised, she doesn't think about teleporting to Lucas' room. All he had in mind was 'Is Zeria okay?'

The people in the room were still very worried about Zeria, because until now Zeria had not shown any sign that she would be conscious.

Lucas's bedroom door was open

"Zeria!" Louise walked into the room and immediately approached Zeria.

"Why did you just come?" Lucas glanced at Louise, his teary eyes still sharp at the sight of Louise.

"Ck, how's Zeria doing?" Louise clucked at the sight of Lucas, but she immediately turned her eyes away.

"His condition is normal, but what makes it strange is his heartbeat. The Princess' heart rate is almost inaudible, her heart is blocked by something until her voice is not heard" the doctor said.

"Obstructed something? I mean, like there's a shield protecting his heart?" Louise guessed.

"It's really noble"

"Maybe this has something to do with what happened a few days ago" Lucas also raised his voice and expressed his opinion as well.

"What do you mean?" Louise glanced at Lucas.

"Do you still not understand? Is your brain no longer working?" Lucas stared cynically at Louise and underestimated her.

"Say what you mean? This was not the time to joke around" Luoise had also almost lost her temper.

"Hahh, everybody out!" Lucas raised his tone and told everyone to come out. "Then Reina, call Razel right now" he continued.

"Good prince" Reina immediately left the room.

After everyone left, Lucas began to raise his voice and explain what he meant earlier. Although Lucas does not like to talk to Louise, but if it's for Zeria, everything will be done by him.

"I suspect this has something to do with angel magic" Lucas said.

"Aren't angels hard to die? That's because there's something that protects their heart. Their hearts were protected by a huge magic, it was lodged in the area around the heart. So if any injuries were detected, the magic would instantly protect the heart and strengthen the defenses around it" Lucas explained in great detail and was easy to understand.

"Where did you know that?" Luoise was both suspicious and amazed that Lucas knew such a thing.

"Books in Zeria's room, books with handwriting and green covers" he replied.

The door opened slowly, and Razel entered the room.

"I'm facing your majesty" Razel gave a greeting while bowing his head.

"As soon as you check Zeria, whether her current symptoms have anything to do with what happened a few days ago" he ordered.

"Good noble" Razel examined Zeria carefully, then explained what happened to Zeria. But strangely, what Razel described, exactly as Lucas said.

"I guessed it" Lucas muttered.

"What's the prince?" Razel glanced and slightly bowed to match their height.

"The symptoms you mentioned earlier, I've read them in books" Lucas said.

"Ehh? But, there has never been a book that explains this. In all the books, it is explained only about the characteristics of angels. But there is no book that explains the part of the angel" Razel was rather surprised by Lucas' remarks.

"Then, how do you know?" Lucas asked with a suspicious look.

"Because I've dealt with something like this in person" Razel replied, smiling at Lucas.

"Ehh?What's that supposed?" Think Lucas.

They are still debating the situation of Zeria. Razel did a variety of ways to make Zeria aware, but all of that was pointless.

For two days Zeria was unconscious, Lucas also did not want to eat because he was too worried about his sister. Lucas never even left Zeria alone, Louise also always took the time to see the state of Zeria. Then at Louise's command, great witches were brought from every country to cure Zeria, but none of that worked.

I heard someone knocking on the door

"Come in, there's no need to knock anymore" Lucas replied in utter lethargy.

"How can the prince know that I knocked on the door?"

"Of course I know, because you knocked on the door three times" Lucas said, then glanced at the boy who a few days ago was helped by Zeria.

"Wahh, that's great." Say the boy.

Usually Zeria slightly muttered when the boy was nearby. Either because the boy had magic, or because of something else. But today is different.

"Prince, may I touch the Princess?" Ask the boy.

"What do you want to do?" Lucas asked a little sharply.

"Aahh, I just want to do it. It seemed like the Princess' hand was very delicate" The boy switched the conversation.

"Not more than five seconds!" Lucas stated.

"Well prince" Actually the intention of the boy is to help Zeria by channeling her magic.

The boy clasped Zeria's hand and cast his magic unbeknownst to Lucas, and there was a very surprising reaction.

"Emmm" Zeria muttered and her eyes slightly opened.

"Zeria?! Can you hear me? Hey, answer!" Lucas was both surprised and pleased.

"Why-sister?" Zeria opened her eyes slightly and looked towards Lucas.

"Thank God you're sober! Is anyone sick? Is there a bad part? Are you feeling uncomfortable?" Lucas asked Zeria, he was very happy.

"Prince, the Princess has just come to her senses. If the prince asked that much, the Princess could faint again" The boy smiled at Lucas.

"Ahh, right too. You, take care of my sister for a second. I'll call Razel to check on Zeria" Lucas said, leaving the room.

"Hey" Zeria called the boy earlier.

"What's the matter Princess?" Ask the boy.

"Actually, who are you?" Zeria asked with her shining eyes, a sign that Zeria was threatening her.

"What do you mean, Princess?"
