I'm Making You Bend Your Knees

I'm Making You Bend Your Knees
KKBL Chapter 3

Kiara was still sitting in her room, confused as to what to do after this. Going to school again is not possible, stopping is not possible. The girl's thoughts raged, as did her feelings. It's like wading through a vast ocean without a compass showing its direction. I don't know where he's going to dock.

A few minutes passed, Kiara started to move. He wiped the blood out with a tissue, then wrapped it in the sleeve of the jacket he was wearing.

Aunt Mita who is the sister of Kiara's mother suddenly visits. Bibi lives out of town and is taking a wedding dress order, then decides to stop by to see the missing Kiara.

"Where are you, brother?" ask Aunt Mita to Kiara's mother.

"In the room, again studying. He said he didn't want to be bothered" replied the mother as she served a cup of warm tea at Aunt Mita's front desk.

"I'll see for a second, brother. She must be glad I dropped by."

"But Kiara said she wanted to learn, Mit. Later if you come in he's angry how?"

"Where could he be mad at me." Aunty stood up, then walked over to Kiara in her room.

Mom can't do anything anymore. Kiara and her aunt were very close. Aunt Mita, who is only five years old with Kiara, makes their relationship very familiar like a sister and brother. After Aunt Mita got married, they rarely met because Aunt Mita followed her husband to live out of town and opened a bridal makeup business there.

Tok to tok.

The sound of knocking on the door was unable to resuscitate Kiara from her daydream. His empty mind made him think only of the bullying done by Diska.

Since Kiara did not respond, Bibi called out her name, "Kiara, this is Aunt Mita, you're inside, right?" Aunt Mita knocked again on Kiara's room door. Just like earlier, there was still no reply or response from his nephew. With anxious feelings Aunt Mita opened the door of Kiara's room that had forgotten to be locked.

"Kiara!?" tekik Aunt Mita who was surprised to see Kiara's room was very messy. Books were scattered, and also a cutter was lying nearby. Wipes that were covered in blood were also scattered. Meanwhile, Kiara's extremely wet face also made Aunt Mita very worried. What happened to his nephew?

"Auntie." Kiara was shocked to see her aunt standing in the doorway. He immediately panicked trying to wipe his tears and clean up the mess in the room.

Aunt Mita saw panic in Kiara's eyes. Aunty sensed there was something strange about Kiara. Then, Auntie Mita closed the room door and locked it from the inside.

"Auntie since when did you come here?" ask Kiara. With her raucous voice, she tried to look calm with many breaths, but the girl did not dare to look at her aunt's face. He glanced down, his heart pounding again hard when he saw the cutter under his feet. Kiara tried to kick the cutter into the table column, so that Aunt Mita did not see what she had done just now.

"Kiara, what's going on?" ask Aunt Mita worried. He approached Kiara and flipped the girl's body. Aunty held onto Kiara's injured arm, making the girl frown in pain.

"There's nothing, Bi." Kiara was still trying to endure the pain as Aunt Mita's grip grew stronger on her arm. However, Aunt Mita could see clearly as Kiara's facial expression endured her pain.

Auntie saw the blood splattered on her, Kiara must not be okay, but what makes her like this?

"Just like me, why are you Kiara?" Aunt Mita gently pulled Kiara's body to sit on the edge of the bed.

"There's nothing to tell Bi, I'm fine." Kiara forced a smile with quivering lips and the roar of breath that began to hunt. He was so afraid that his parents would find out about his current situation.

"I'm .. I'm okay. I'm fine." Kiara's voice sounded more and more vibrating. He shook his head slowly, lest Aunt Mita find out.

"You lied!" accuse Bibi of continuing to force Kiara to be honest.

"I'm .. I'm not lying, I'm fine, don't tell Dad to Mom. I'm really fine." Kiara kept shaking her head. The water came back out through the corner of his eye. He grew increasingly frightened and began to cover his face with his hands. That's when the jacket that wrapped his wound came off.

Aunt Mita saw the wound and realized Kiara really had a problem. Aunt Mita then checked Kiara's arm, because Kiara had frowned to endure the pain. Aunt was in shock when she saw the bruise on Kiara's arm.

With reddened eyes holding back tears, Aunt Mita asked, "This is why, Kiara?" Actually, without asking even Aunt Mita can already guess Kiara became a victim of bullying at her school.

Aunt Mita embraces Kiara and it makes Kiara's cry break. Auntie Mita was crying too. "It's okay, cry if it can reduce the burden on your heart." Kiara grew sobbing in her aunt's arms.

Kiara cried for a long time until she finally said, "Can Auntie take me away from this town?" ask kiara seriously.

Aunt Mita was quite surprised, making auntie think hard. It could be that Aunt Mita brought Kiara, but would Kiara's parents agree?

"I'll work it out. I need to talk to my husband and of course your parents."

Kiara nodded. He prayed in his heart that his aunt could take him away from Diska.

After a fair debate, Bibi was finally able to bring Kiara to live with her. Of course Kiara also very reassuring to her parents. He reasoned to want to learn to decorate while helping his aunt.

Currently, Kiara was already living at Aunt Mita's house. He was cleaning his clothes in the new room. Then, Aunt Mita came in to see him.

"Do you like the room?" ask Aunt Mita. The room Kiara was currently occupying was unused because her aunt and husband only lived alone in this large enough house.

"I like it, Bi. Especially here there is no Diska," replied Kiara.

"You're actually beautiful Kiara. The beauty of your heart has defeated everything" said Aunt Mita who wants to entertain Kiara.

"All my friends see it not like that, Bi. No one said I was pretty, why?" Kiara lowered her head, sometimes she wondered. If only, he was born beautiful, maybe he did not have to experience all this.

Aunt Mita was silent, feeling the sadness that Kiara was currently feeling. Then the aunt said, "Then I change my words. Everyone can be beautiful, including you. Let's prove it together! I'll help you."
