Leonel pushed the trolley with his and Kiara's suitcase. While Kiara was busy calling the driver she had previously prepared to pick her up and Leonel at the airport. Kiara started to worry because the driver did not answer her call. Seeing that, Leonel just smiled and told Kiara that their driver would not come.
“Are we going to take a taxi, sir?” ask Kiara who doesn't know Leonel's plan yet.
“No. We've been picked up. That's the guy.” Leonel pointed at Xavier who was waving as he walked towards them.
Kiara's forehead wrinkled, her eyes squinting catching the tall figure walking towards her. He did not think about the two brothers. Aren't they CEOs who are always busy? Why would Xavier bother to pick Kiara and Leonel up to the airport.
“Hai. You guys just arrived, ‘kan?” xavier asked as he glanced at Kiara who was looking at him with a flat expression.
“Just relax, we just got out of this. Help carry suitcase!” leonel's orders to his cousin.
Kiara watched with her own eyes Xavier and Leonel fuss over carrying the suitcases and moving them into the trunk of the car. The three of them got into Xavier's car. Kiara sat in the back seat, while Leonel in the front accompanied Xavier who was driving by himself.
“Have met that girl?” ask Leonel to Xavier.
“Hah!? Which girl?” Xavier asked back, his eyes peeking at Kiara through the rearview mirror above him.
“Whichever girl. Your girl's running away all the shit yeah. That High School friend, that secretary of yours, all ran away. That's why, brother, so guys don't be stupid! If love is proven, do not need to talk a lot,” replied Leonel casually.
“Kiara has heard your story. He even wondered the story of your High School. Yeah, right, Kia?” Leonel looked back.
Kiara who felt her name was called immediately turned to Leonel. “I, Sir?” He pointed at himself.
“Ya, yesterday you asked me,” reply Leonel. He looked at Xavier who was beside him. “Tell me the full story of why the woman left. Maybe he was angry and disappointed with you because you pretended not to see and did not want to help him. What an evil you, Brother,” Leonel's great-grandson who deliberately provoked a conversation between Xavier and Kiara so that there would be no more misunderstandings between them.
Xavier squinted at Leonel who lightly accused him in front of Kiara directly. “I did know he had the same problem Diska. But I never saw firsthand what Diska was doing. I think Diska was just making a whole mess, I didn't know that Diska was also physically torturing her,” she explained.
Kiara closed her eyes. Whether what Xavier said was true or not, it was clear that he could not believe Xavier at the moment.
Leonel observes Kiara's reaction and again lures Xavier into telling the truth about all the stories that actually happened. “Didn't you say, when you last met him, you saw him bullied and asked for your help, but you ignored him.”
“Yes, right, he ignored her even though the woman was dying before his eyes. Mr. Xavier has no heart until he can leave the person who really needs his help.”
Xavier stops his car suddenly, making Kiara realize that he has been hooked by Leonel's question. Xavier looked at Kiara through the rearview mirror above her. “I was indeed guilty of leaving him in the middle of the field. But did he know that I was called teacher and principal, and that's when I reported Diska's behavior. When I got back to the field, I saw that he had passed out. Did he know I was crying and carrying him all the way to the UKS? I was allowed to wait for that unconscious him only during the break. Does he also know that I went back to the UKS while running at the turn of the class, but he's gone? Does he know I feel guilty and sorry until a year has passed I can just laugh again. Does he know?”
🦄🦄🦄Know bang, right you just told me that. The ritual do not forget 😘🍭🍭🍭
