Albert wants to go home to clear his mind. But he ended up drunk and made a scene at a club.
No one dared to stop him. Everyone knew who Albert was, who even with his power was able to destroy the entire contents of the city.
Until then came Arfa, personal assistant, right hand, as well as his best friend. He is the only one who can control his anger.
"Stop this, Al! Do you want Nayyara to hate you even more for seeing this behavior of yours?."
Hearing Nayyara's name being called, Albert's anger slowly dissipated. And he was ready to go home.
Helping put his best friend's body in the car, Arfa orders two of his men to clean up all the mess that Albert made. He does not want the reputation of his friends and also his company destroyed because of this trivial problem.
Making sure his men move according to his orders, Arfa then brought Albert back to his residence.
Upon arrival there, assisted by one of the bodyguards, brought Albert's body to his room on the second floor of this house and then lay it on the bed.
After making sure his master didn't need his help anymore, the guard came out and returned to his original place.
Slowly Arfa took off the shoes that Albert was wearing. He changed his clothes and pulled a blanket over his best friend, allowing him to rest.
"You're a great guy, Albert. You can hold this world with both hands. But baby, you are very stupid in love affairs," muttered Arfa. In his view the face of the friend who was asleep.
Arfa knew Albert from when they were kids. They used to be close neighbors. They went to school together and grew up together.
As a friend, Arfa knew very well how Albert lived. Even he was the only one who faithfully stood by his side when he was in ruin after being left for dead by his newly born wife and child.
Albert's life used to look so perfect. He managed to have all the luxuries that exist in this world when he was young. Then after that he married a woman named Anastasya who is his lover.
Albert's happiness was more complete when Anastasya was declared pregnant. But that happiness immediately turned into a disaster when he learned of his wife's affair. Especially then he knew if the child he contained was not his flesh and blood.
Naas, Anastasya died while giving birth to her child. He also took his son with him.
Albert did not believe in love anymore. He turned into a cold and arrogant figure. He accidentally meets Nayyara. He falls back in love and finds a way to get it.
Arfa breathed a heavy sigh. Walk towards the sofa, and throw the body over it. He intended to rest his body there for a moment while keeping watch if Albert needed his help. Slowly his eyes closed because he was too tired.
...****************...
At midnight Albert woke up. He squeaked his forehead which felt throbbing due to the residual effects of the alcohol he drank earlier.
"Where am I?" muttered. Then he also gave a look.
When his eyes saw the figure of Arfa who was asleep on the sofa in an uncomfortable position, his heart warmed up. "You are the best friend in the world. I'm so lucky to have you by my side. I don't know what would happen to me if you weren't around."
He also held up a blanket that covered his body. Get up from the bed and walk to his friend. "Arfa, awake! If you want to sleep, sleep in the next room. Your body can hurt if you sleep like this" he said, shaking Arfa's body slowly.
Albert laughed at the expression of his best friend. "Hey, relax. There's nothing to worry about!."
"Huft, I thought what was going on" said Arfa sighing with relief. Then he rubbed his still sleepy face and yawned widely. "What time is it now? Is it morning now?" tanyanya.
"Yet. It's still midnight."
"What's? It's still midnight?" asked Arfa with wide eyes. "Then why did you wake me up? Do you need anything?."
Albert shook his head. "No, I don't need anything. I woke you up feeling sorry to see you sleeping in that position. If you want to sleep, sleep in the next room. You must be so tired from taking care of me all day."
Instead of according, Arfa just shook his head slowly. "No, I'm fine. Sleeping for a while now has made my body fresher."
"Yes if you don't want to" said Albert. Hit the body next to his best friend. His eyes looked straight ahead.
Seeing that, Arfa patted Albert on the shoulder and asked. "How are you feeling now? Are you better?."
Albert threw his body onto the back of the sofa, sighing heavily. "Okay, Fa, I don't know if I'm okay or not."
They were both silent, immersed in each other's thoughts. The silent night became even more silent. Until finally Albert began to open his voice to break their silence. "Is my action against Nayyara wrong, Fa? Have I gone overboard?," he asked, looking forward.
"There is nothing wrong or right in love. All is fair in war and love."
"But why did Nayyara choose to end her own life like that."
"She was just in shock, not expecting her husband to be that hard." Arfa tried hard to comfort her best friend so as not to fall back like before. He knew very well how true his love for Nayyara was. "If you don't mind, will you tell me what happened? Because I don't know the details yet. Maybe from there I can give you advice."
Albert sighed, then recounted the incident this morning where he found Nayyara lying on the floor with his hands covered with blood.
They went back to silence, immersed in each other's thoughts. Then Albert said, "Do I give Nayyara back to her husband?."
"You think Nayyara is an item that can be taken and returned at will. He must have been hurt even more if you had done that" replied Arfa in a raised voice. I can't think of the way my best friend thinks.
"Then what should I do? What if Nayyara kills herself again and I can't save her? I can't be there until it happens?."
Arfa stared at her best friend intensely. "Now I ask you. Are you ready to release Nayyara back? Would you like to see him with another man."
"I will kill the man who dared to approach him" Albert replied with fiery eyes.
"Then why do you even want to let go?."
"Then what should I do, Fa? Give me the solution?."
For a moment Arfa was silent and thought about finding the best solution. Then he also said. "I think you should change your obsession if you want to make Nayyara love you."
