Chapter 21. Promises and no promises

"Friends? I don't need anything like that. Go ahead if you want to tell them. I don't care." Said Zhen indifferently.

Hearing her unwanted answer made Nie Fuwei have to rack her brain. "Well I give up, what do I do to make you let me be your friend?" Ask the gang finally gave up because they could not think any harder.

Zhen smiled faintly as his trap finally succeeded. "whatever?" Ask Zhen to make sure.

"Yes, anything."

"Tomorrow, we will attack the territory of the Lightning Cat King. I want you to save them!" Zhen was greeted by a plot from Nie Fuwei.

"What?! But that's the king's order. We can't argue, a is there no other request?" Asked, Zhen's request was really unexpected for Nie Fuwei. Changing what the Clan Chief had ordered was not easy. It was only 0.01% for him to succeed.

" Any, it's okay." Answer Nie Fuwei. When he saw who he had hit turned out to be the first child of the Clan Chief, Ming Jia Jun. Seeing Jun who seemed to be a dumbass why Nie Fuwei came out of Zhen's room, he immediately ran away from Jun.

While Jun himself was still wondering what business the 2nd elder's son Nie Fuwei had until he came to Zhen's room. Nie Fuwei was the prettiest girl in the Clan, and Zhen was a young man who was often aloof. Men and women in one room? 'Is it possible they have a relationship?' Jun thought while smiling as he thought about it. He continued his steps to meet Zhen.

"Zhen, it's me! can I come in?"

"Ah, wait a minute!?" There were footsteps from inside. The door opened, revealing a bright red-eyed boy at night.

To be honest Jun had never gotten used to Zhen's sinister eyes. "Sister is finally here!?" Said Zhen with a happy smile even though it looked more like an evil smile.

They came into the room, "What do you want to show me so that no one knows?" Ask Jun. He was asked to come in secret without anyone knowing by Zhen. It seems like this is something very important.

"It!!" Zhen thrusting a pouch.

Jun instantly took out the black pouch that Zhen had given him. He opened it out of curiosity. When it opened Jun was shocked by the contents of the bag. "Here, where did you get it?"

Seeing Jun's serious-looking reaction it seemed that the thing inside the black bag was no ordinary item. "I got it from someone who was quietly watching me. He ran away while fighting me and dropped this." Clearly Zhen. Actually, he killed the person who was silent watching him and did not let him escape. However, he thinks that if Jun finds out that he killed someone, he will be shunned by Jun. That was his worst minpi.

This is Jun first asking for something like a promise to her, "Yes, of course. I won't tell anyone." Zhen immediately agreed without thinking.

"Good then. I'm going back to my house." Said Jun while carrying a black bag in his hand.

When Jun was about to leave Zhen was still curious about the thing he had given Jun. "That's what exactly is it?" Ask Zhen.

Jun's steps stopped when this question finally came up. He turned around and gave a smile to Zhen to not make him misunderstand, "This is just an item belonging to the world outside of the forest. It can be dangerous if it is known to others. That's why it has to be hidden." Jun.

Actually the reason Jun gave was a little unreasonable. Zhen wasn't that stupid to be lied to with a very obvious lie. But even so, "So so. Then be careful when you return." Said Zhen with a sweet smile. Jun went out and returned to his residence. Instantly his smile faded and was replaced with a cold face. "Go and find out what it is! And don't let Brother know!?" Said Zhen to his own element.

"What are you smiling at?" Asked Nie Fuwei who arrived outside the window right beside Zhen. He leaned over as he watched Zhen who was smiling like a bad person.

Zhen was shocked by the arrival of this woman. If noticed it seemed like he wanted to convey something to Zhen. "What are you doing here?" Asked Zhen coldly.

"Aiss, why are you so cold? I've been struggling to do what you want. You should have said thank you otherwise you should have welcomed me with a friendly and a smile." Said Nie Fuwei while pursing her lips. For a long time he was upset because this man did not have the heart and attention to him at all.

Despite not sympathizing with her regret Nie Fuwei taoi Zhen still had to say, "What's Miss Fuwei here?" Zhen asked with a friendly smile that Nie Fuwei expected. If only Zhen had not relied on Nie Fuwei to save the Lightning Cat territory himself would not have been willing to do this.

As if bewitched, his heart so beat as Zhen smiled at him. It was clearly visible on her red blushing cheeks.
