Chapter 29. "I don't care"

The Golden Butterfly Palace

"Ha ha ha ha do you see what his expression is like? He's like crazy now."

Shu Jiujiu opened the door of her room a little and saw that the two crew members had already left. Then he came out of his room. "That jerk went crazy? Heh, great! That's the right answer for him." He said with a satisfied smile. But then he thought about checking it out himself to the dungeon. "True, I have to make sure of it myself. It could be that people are lying or exaggerating, right? The girl was dressed all in black like her brother's men. He also wears a face mask to be unrecognized. As he was about to leave, he accidentally saw there was food on the table. "I could be hungry in there, so I'll take her a little." He did say a little, but in the end all the food on the table was bought by him.

After exiting the Palace, Shu Jiujiu walked through the secret passage that his older brother's men used to walk through. This secret passage leads to the dungeon and this passageway only people from the Golden Butterfly Palace know about it.

Successfully entering the dungeon here there are so many closed rooms that it will be difficult to find a place to be. "Hey, do you know where His Majesty's second room is?" Ask one of the prison guards. Usually the people guarding this prison were the people from Sapphire Radiant Palace.

"You just find the thickest iron door of all the doors." Said the guard.

Without saying thank you Shu Jiujiu walked towards the designated spot.

While the guard only shook his head with the attitude of the Golden Butterfly Palace people. Even though they were on the same task that was the dungeon, but they still had ethics. But the people from the Golden Butterfly Palace had absolutely no ethics and were always being rude as well at will.

After discovering what he was looking for Shu Jiujiu tried to peek at the inner space. But this iron door is so tight. 'How yes? If I ask them for the key, they'll be suspicious.' Her thought. Then think of an idea in his head. Shu Jiujiu widened his hand and formed a key with the earth element that had already evolved into a crystal.

When the door opened, a happy look on his face. Heartily he went in and took the key back. He is always careful in doing things and as much as possible not to make mistakes. That was what her brother used to teach her in terms of sneaking. Because he does not know when he will be in danger if he is not careful.

It turns out to be very scary in here. He looked for where the man was, and found the man sitting alone daydreaming something. And he also seemed to be muttering to himself. It muttered indistinctly in a quiet voice.

'Is he really crazy?' Thought Shu Jiujiu. He walked up to Zhen and tried to talk to him. "Hey, did you hear me? Answer if you hear!?" Said Shu Jiujiu trying to summon Zhen. But the man continued to daydream with a blank look and murmured indistinctly. "I think he's really crazy." He said as he crossed his arms and looked the other way. His eyes glanced at Zhen, 'But if noticed he was handsome too. If his face was not pale and under his eyes were not blackened he would definitely be very handsome.' Thought Shu Jiujiu. Unknowingly his hand tried to touch Zhen's face.

Suddenly the man's eyes moved looking at his hands and made Shu Jiujiu startled. Zhen held Shu Jiujiu's hand and pushed her to sleep. Her other hand strangled the girl's neck making it hard to breathe. "Hen kh ti h right!?" Shu Jiujiu said it was hard to speak. The man's eyes looked at him like he really wanted to kill him.

Shu Jiujiu directly kicked the male bird to save himself.

"Akh.." Zhen held the middle of his groin in pain with an attack that attacked his bird. He curled up beside Shu Jiujiu.

"Ohuk!?" The girl was holding her neck which was almost broken by the crazy man. 'Crazy, my life almost floated because of him!? I shouldn't have visited him!' Thought annoyed.

Zhen woke up and still felt the pain, 'Why did my lower half arrive?' Think Zhen's confused. Then his eyes saw someone else was with him. 'Who?' Zhen was instantly on guard with someone beside him. "Who are you?" Ask.

Shu Jiujiu opened the cover of her face, "It's me!? Whahuh? Don't try to kill me again, or I'll give you a stronger kick than this." Said Shu Jiujiu with his ferocious tone.

Actually Zhen did not really understand what Shu Jiujiu said. But it seems like he was trying to kill the girl. Then for self-defense he kicked his bird. "It should hurt." His gum. Zhen looked at Shu Jiujiu, "Why are you here?" Ask.

"I just want to see if you've gone crazy or not. But it seems you've almost gone crazy." Shu Jiujiu snapped in annoyance as she threw away her gaze from Zhen. But then she silently glanced at the man, she wished there was a face of regret or guilt. But what he saw was that the man did not care about his words. And that's getting him pissed.

He was annoyed, as he looked at the man's thin body until it was seen that his bones were making his regret less. "Here, I accidentally brought this." He said while giving food to Zhen.

Zhen narrowed his eyes looking at the fruit Shu Jiujiu had given him. Before taking the food he was reminded of what Jiafen said. If all the food given by people here is just poison to make him die quickly.

Zhen rebuffed the food making him flung, "I don't need your mercy." Said Zhen which of course made the girl stand up and get angry.

"Basic doesn't know himself!? Fucking guy!? Not shameless!? Exile boy!? I also don't want to give you food, I just accidentally took it and gave you that! Who pityes you? Hemph, just stay here until you die!?" He was angry and annoyed. Shu Jiujiu walked to the exit not forgetting that she had returned to pick up the red fruit that Zhen had thrown. Then throw his face away when he looks into her eyes.

Zhen stood with his body staggering and then sat leaning against the wall. The illusion he saw in the special room, now he also saw it outside the room. Now he can no longer distinguish between illusions and non-illusions. That is why some days he did not sleep because he continued to see the illusion.
