SECTION 3
“Pfftt!”
I heard a shameless laugh.
Vieze's son, Belsach, called me.
A man with brown hair and brown eyes, who did not at all resemble his mother, Seral, and vice versa, only looked like a replica of Vieze.
The grumpy-looking face had many flaws but even so, the women would never stop approaching him due to his status as the eldest son of the Lombardi family.
“Haha!”
But what was in front of me right now was just a little boy I guessed to be around ten years old.
He was someone who was involved in all sorts of bad things, so I was the one who had to clean up and deal with his mess. She was really someone who made me tremble every time I saw her face, but as a child, she was quite cute.
"Are you laughing at me ?!"
However, that temperament was not funny at all.
Still, I will apologize because I think I will feel bad later.
"This dirty-blooded brat dares to laugh at someone!"
But offensive words kept coming out of his mouth.
"Halfblood?"
Little by little, I started to remember.
My cousins, including Belsach have cursed me to death simply because my mother was a commoner.
"Brother, I think the crossbreed is angry now?"
As I turned towards the voice that had just flowed into the air, I could see the first son of my second uncle, Astalliu, standing beside him.
If Belsach drives me crazy because of his chaotic personal life and violent incidents, then Astall has bothered me by becoming addicted to gambling.
He has been a good target for other gamblers because he is a strong, brainless idiot whose deepest thoughts will be visible to everyone.
Eventually, he was almost expelled by grandfather and before he entered the Lombardi knight faction in the following years, there were some buildings that Astalliu had sold for gambling debts.
That's right, the two will always be united and bother me.
"What would you do if I was angry?"
"Are you going to cry again and piss?"
At the time, I was very afraid of both.
Even if it was just a child's joke, bullying by them was extremely cruel.
I was too young and powerless to deal with their pure hatred of me because as the saying goes, children are crueler than they seem.
So, earlier, every time I found both of them, I couldn't even escape and would just tremble, so everything would end quickly.
Sometimes, it would just end in ridicule and some insults, but in the days when Belsach was not in a good mood, he would bruise me.
When my father would show anger because of it, Vieze and Laurel often reprimanded him and said 'that's how the kids grow up but that's too much of a joke.'
"Huh."
But I held back my anger. Then I asked you something.
"Belsach, how old am I now?"
"What?"
Belsach looked at me strangely as if I was suddenly asking a strange question.
"How old am I?"
Initially, I wanted to make my voice more intimidating and deep but since this was the body of the children, I was limited in that.
"You don't even know that?"
When I spoke in a manner that ignored and looked down on him, Belsach replied angrily.
“Your life is seven years! I know!"
Oh, I see, you mean I'm seven?
"really. I was seven years old. And you're ten years old, and Astall is eight.”
There was a difference of about three years and one year between us, so I could calculate their age.
"Now that you are that old, how can you be so childish?"
At first, children like to think they are adults.
“You should not make fun of your cousin by calling him such a crossbreed.”
I try to persuade both as best I can.
What do kids know about this? All the mistakes are with adults.
But Belsach's mood turned rather bad.
"Cousin? Childishly?"
Somehow, somewhere, it seems like something bad is going to happen.
I turned around because I felt he needed something to vent his anger quickly.
Belsach, panting, looked at me with a threatening look.
"Is he crazy?"
And then he raised his hand high.
But for some reason, he waited a while before hitting me.
As if he was expecting me to be afraid.
But when they don't get the response they want, Belsach and Astall get confused.
And their shame was expressed by the act of hitting me.
“Ah!”
The raised hand grabbed my hair and pulled me as hard as I could.
With that power, my knees and scalp burned as I fell hard to the ground.
When I looked up, I could see a few strands of my hair being torn in Belsach's hands.
"Ha huh! What a view!”
His face, pointing at me and laughing at me, was the same as the face of the person who treated me as a servant, asking me to go to the fountain and wash clothes whenever I met him in my grandfather's office.
The anger that I had suppressed within me by thinking of him as a child surged back.
“For lowly Halfblood. Are you trying to teach me? ”
Belsach said as he pushed my head down.
“Only because you have the same last name, you start to deceive yourself into thinking that you are one of us.”
Astalliu smiled meaningfully behind him.
“You are not Lombard. So get out of here, you're blasteran.”
"I told you not to say that."
"What?"
"I told you, don't call me a crossbreed."
I, who had fallen to the ground, lifted one leg and kicked Belsach's shin.
“Arghh!”
Belsach shouted loudly and fell backwards, clutching his legs and rolling around.
I immediately stood with the book that had fallen down next to me.
"Th-this!"
I could feel Astalliu stepping closer in shock as she tried to help.
I turned to the side without saying anything and looked at the boy, Astalliu.
That alone caused the timid Astalliu to become frightened and stop in his place.
I glared at him once more so that he could stand there quietly and then approach Belsach, who was still rolling around like a puppy.
"This spoiled puppy."
I'm not wrong.
My first uncle, Vieze, had no manners and often behaved like a dog to his wife and Belsach was the seed he had produced to be like his father.
Puppies are the right word.
A fearless puppy.
I'll fix your habits.
"You, the basis of******* is crazy!"
He was in pain, but his mouth was still alive and hard.
With the book I was holding, I started using it to hit Belsach's shoulders and arms repeatedly.
This is a book thick enough that it will hurt.
“Agh! Ah!”
"Again and again! Halfblod! Halfblood! You made me mad by saying blaster! You asked to be beaten! You shouldn't have done it!”
“Ast-Astalliu! What are you doing! Argha! Get this bad thing off me! Ah!”
Belsach called out to Astalliu desperately but the little boy was already trembling.
The little boy who was only eight years old could not help it anymore.
"For me! Because you! How hard it is for me! I know that!"
Ignoring the hand that was trying to push me, I kept hitting Belsach with the book.
“Ugh, kggh!”
Although I had only hit him a few times, the body of this little boy was already out of breath and my arms felt weak.
If Belsach was going to act rebellious and hit me back, I would be knocked out immediately, but luckily, I was safe.
She started crying.
“Ahhh! Nngh, save me!”
My ears hurt because of his loud voice.
That was.
The office door burst open and a loud shouting sound rang out.
“What a noise!”
A middle-aged man with a large and frightening appearance whose neatly arranged white hair and beard gave off the impression of a lion mane appeared in front of me.
“K-grandfather.”
My grandfather, Lulak Lombardi, the patriarch of this Lombardi family, was staring at the sight of Belsach lying on the floor and I hit him with my book.
“Belsach!”
Immediately after, someone came shouting from the office while calling out his son's name and shoving me violently.
"Aah!"
It was very strong compared to how I had been driven by Belsach a while back.
The book fell away, and my palms and wrists became sore as I used it to reduce the impact of my falls and avoid hitting my head.
“Tia?”
That's when I heard a loving voice.
My father, who was late coming out of the office, saw me and approached me in surprise.
"Yes God! Tia, wounds!”
Maybe because I look messy now.
Belsach was crying, but as it turned out, my condition was much worse.
“Sister, Father! Daddy!"
But I know how hard Belsach is, and he'll make it worse than that.
"You! Apologize to my son right now!”
He asked me to apologize without bothering to listen to the whole story.
My eyes turned red and I turned my head away, because I didn't want anyone to see that face.
"Here, this naughty thing!"
Then, Vieze stretched out his hand as if he was about to hit me immediately.
"Brother brother!"
I felt my father embrace me and protect me.
But judging by the situation, it seemed like he was going to hit my father who was in my way.
"Stop!"
However, the situation was immediately paused as soon as my grandfather voiced out furiously.
Vieze was still struggling, but he couldn't say anything more and looked at me with his eyes as if he was going to kill me.
In the silent passageway, only Belsach's whining could be heard from time to time.
Me? I quietly lay in my father's arms and hugged him.
To be honest, I'm flattered.
I wanted to leave a good impression on my grandfather but from the beginning myself, I messed it up.
All because Belsach was stupid.
My grandfather, who took turns looking at Belsach and me for a while, then looked at Astall.
The boy had gone into hiding while holding onto my second uncle, Laurel's clothes.
Only
“Astalliu, what happened?”
Grandfather asked.
Astall looked at his father for a moment and then replied.
“K-Sister Belsach and I just walked in and this half, no, this Florentia suddenly started hitting us.”
No, but can you see what that loyal dog is saying?
