Indigo Children Diary
Dinner

Dear Diary's,

Dinner that I we will romantic and syahdu in the rain and dead lights at that time. It turned out to be a disturbance of the black shadow figure that I suspected of a woman. Shitty right?

☠️☠️☠️

Highlights of a car entering the yard are already visible. Mama peeked at him from behind the main door which was made of glass. Our home design is not modern with the theme of a simple house kalasik. Mama could see who was coming through the glass located at the main door of our house. When sure that came was papa, mama immediately opened the door and brought an umbrella for papa.

"Good night, kids." Papa said when entering the house.

"Why so long?" Aira Protests.

"The road is jammed dear, and part of the road is flooded. So it has to be slow." Papa kissed Aira's forehead.

"Let's have dinner first. The kids are hungry, papa. And surely papa was hungry on the road, too." Take mom after closing the door.

We all went from the living room to the dining room to do a routine activity that is dinner together. The tradition in our family is that a dinner together will not start before all the family members get together. Because for mom and dad, only dinner can gather all family members.

When breakfast can not be together because it must be busy with each other's affairs. Busy to prepare for everything needed today. Lunch is usually done outside the home. Papa's lunch at the office and the kids at school. And dinner is a good time.

"Bak Yayuk is all set?" Ask your mom when she gets to the dining room.

"It's mom." Reply Ma'am Yayuk.

"Thank you, ma'am." Said mama and was taken by Mbak Yayuk.

Our dinner was neatly served at the dinner table. The ancient lanterns of papa's collection have lit up the dining table. Tonight we will eat in the darkness with these lanterns. There is also the benefit of papa collecting items like this. When the lights are off and there are no candles or emergency lights become a solution in itself.

"What a romantic dinner this time." Bang Ganjar.

"Yes right. Hehe." I also agree.

"It's funny, there are also benefits to papa collecting lanterns." I continued.

"Clear dong. All papa's collections are good and useful." Papa bragged.

Mom opens the chair for papa's seat. Then one by one took the rice on our plates. Then we took the side dishes that each liked. And we started putting rice in our mouths. Do not forget to pray done by each of us before eating.

Right now besides the sound of rain and lightning from out there. The twang of spoons and forks met with plates accompanying our dinner atmosphere. We enjoyed dinner this time. Thankful for the food we still enjoy with our full family members.

However, it turned out that our dinner was not as romantic as I had thought it would be. In the middle of my eating activities, I saw Bang Ganjar who was sitting right in front of me. Many times I made sure of the black shadow figure that was right behind Bang Ganjar. The shadow that forms the curves of a woman's body.

"Maybe Ma'am Yayuk." My mind keeps spooning the rice into my mouth.

"But Yayuk is in the kitchen." Inner again.

I wrestle with my own mind. Thinking of the shadow figure that was currently still behind Bang Ganjar. Because it's too dark I can't really see it. Not to mention that the shadow sometimes moved away and approached from the sitting position of Bang Ganjar.

"Bak Yayuk is in the kitchen, right ma?" I asked my mom.

"Yes. Indeed why?" Mama asked back.

"It's okay ma." My answer.

I fell silent and wrestled back with my mind.

"Maybe it's papa's urn that forms the shadow of a woman." I try to avoid myself in my heart.

"Ehm... But did papa put the urn there?" Ask again.

Eating activities that I stopped. Now slowly I continue to occasionally see the black shadow. And it seemed that at this dining table no one felt his presence. Bang Ganjar even though he remained focused on devouring his food. It was clearly right behind him.

"How was school today?" Ask papa.

"I got a star last time at school pa." Answer Aira cheerfully.

"That's great you're Aira." Papa praised Aira.

"How comfortable are you in this house?" Ask papa.

"Please be safe om. There's Aira and Calista so crowded every day." Answer Bang Ganjar.

"Thank God then." Mama's heart chimed.

"If there is any story." Papa's message to Bang Ganjar.

"Om good." Bang Ganjar.

Papa, Mama, Bang Ganjar, and Aira were chatting in the middle of dinner. While I only occasionally listen to the contents of their chatter. My eyes and mind remained focused on that figure. My dad realized I wasn't focused at the time.

"Calistas how was your school today?" Ask papa.

"Kalista -" Call papa.

"Ehm. It's good for Kalista school today." My answer is a little stammering.

"Why you, baby?" Ask my mom who saw I wasn't focused on eating that time.

"No why would you." Answer lies.

I looked down again while stirring the rice on my side. Confusion was the feeling that dominated me back then. Confused what I should do with the shadow that I clearly saw back then. Whether I should just shut up or investigate who the figure I saw was.

"Arghh .. I'm so confused." I screamed in my heart.

"Do I have to get close? And ascertain what figure is it?" I asked in my heart.

Suddenly my eyes were perfectly rounded as the figure of the black shadow began to approach. Walking forward getting closer towards Bang Ganjar. My mind was messed up, I was afraid that the figure would hurt my brother or another family member. Without a second thought I stood up and stomped my feet. It made the chair I was originally sitting on slide far back.

"Why are you Kalista?" Ask papa confused.

I shut up and pointed towards the figure. And all turned their eyes in the direction I pointed.

And ....

The lights suddenly lit up and illuminated the entire room. There was no object behind Bang Ganjar's body that formed a female-like figure. I looked around me to find that figure again.

☠️☠️☠️

Can you guess whose figure it is? 👻👻👻
