Insect Ruler

Insect Ruler
4 - Boing.. Boing..

Ryuu dashed away towards the middle of the vast place in the forest like a field filled with wild grass, but the monster showed no signs of directly attacking.

That closeness caused his mind to seek refuge within the forest, deeming the huge duck impossible to climb a tree.

As he stared at the monster, looking for clues as to how dangerous the creature was, suddenly a status appeared above his head, then faded away rapidly. Ryuu felt confused looking at her:

...[.Monster: Duck - Level:?] ...

"Huh Reappear?"

He was shocked by the appearance of a mysterious status. However, greater implications may await in the future. However, at least now Ryuu has a name for his enemy.

Although the level listed was not encouraging, it seemed that the level of the monster was not very high.

The big question was why his level status was not clearly visible. Was the monster of such a high level that it could not be read, or perhaps there was a special skill required to uncover it?

The duck approached, and with a deep breath, Ryuu threw the heaviest stone he found.

There was a loud sound when the stone hit the outside of the monster's beak. At least, it managed to trip him.

Plaque!

"Quaackk!" The duck shouted furiously.

"Yoh!"

Ryuu felt relieved, but also tensed. His action manages to thwart the monster's attack, but he finds out that the fight has just begun.

He immediately took the next stone in his right hand and tried again. These rocks are slightly rounder and provide a better shot, successfully hitting the duck side.

Plaque!

"Death to the fucking duck!"

The projectile seemed to be causing pain to the monster, its feathers were thrown and the duck went back screaming loudly. However, Ryuu also directly paid the price for his attack.

Stumbling to the side, he managed to turn his movements into a proper evasion, but the plump duck wing feathers touched his cheeks. His hands were outstretched, and he managed to make a cut on the back of the monster's legs.

Jumping backwards while the duck turned around, he tried to assess the effect of his attack.

The monster's claws were quite small but sharp, inflicting wounds that emitted a hint of blood, although it hadn't yet made a deep wound.

Now the duck is deep in the field, closer to the hill that has its entrance. Before she loses even more precious time, Ryuu turns and runs away towards the trees with her feminine body which makes her very uncomfortable.

Boing... Boing.. Boing...

Ryuu, who had just realized she was transformed into a female insect humanoid, was suddenly disturbed by her unusual new condition. His excitement is thick in the heart as he has to adapt to his new form.

Boing... Boing... Boing....

His footsteps combined with the reflection of his chest that felt foreign and disturbing. Ryuu can feel the uncomfortable weight in her body following the rhythm of her fast running, making her realize the new dimension she must face as a woman.

Boing... Boing... Boing...

In the middle of running, he condemned the circumstances that forced him to deal with the discomfort that constantly followed his every swift move.

With a gasping breath, Ryuu whispered full of annoyance, "Aargh! It feels really annoying, it's all really bothering! Why do I have to endure this burden on my chest? Being a woman is complicated and troublesome!"

However, his legs never stopped. He continued to run, with new curves that he had to master.

Boing... Boing... He continued to push himself into the forest, trying to set a rhythm and find a new balance with his current self formation.

Even so, Ryuu had no choice but to continue running to escape the attack of the Ducks who were now chasing him, even though he was in the middle of a sea of despair, Ryuu is now only shaded in the shadow of his explosive rage.

The mission is simple yet strenuous: escape the pursuit of the monstrous Duck. The strong ammonia smell of the ugly creature was getting stinging, neutralizing the cry of ferocity of his heart like a night curtain that swallowed the last light of dusk.

"Tree! The opportunity!" whispered in a breath of restrained.

With a claw that transformed into a climbing instrument, Ryuu deftly soared, tightly hugging the old branch of the trunk that had been whispering for hundreds of years.

The droves of deciduous leaves welcomed his lucky move, seemingly understanding the dark stage that was unfolding.

Plaque! Plakk!

"Quacks!"

"Aah! No need for stupid ducks!" Ryuu sneered from his new height.

The duck's jaw plunged into the air, only to successfully display a row of creepy teeth and the futility of the attack.

"QUAACCKK!!"

Just a little bit, and Ryuu will be a fine dinner. However, his sharp allusions only managed to pounce on the fresh air of the night and a life that was a stone's throw from death.

Now, behind the tree shade, Ryuu looked down from the tree trunk. The Duck's eyes lit up, like two lanterns filled with hatred and the desire to destroy him.

Ryuu looked at the duck monster that attacked him with mounting frustration.

Not only has she become a strange monster, but also a female and is now being chased by jumbo Ducks which makes her even more trapped in depression.

He pressed his ears with both hands as the duck let out a loud cry.

"THE QUAAACKKK!!! QUAAACCK!!!"

"Damn, what now? I can't just sit here all day and close my doors forever.." he sighed in despair. The exhaustion that had caught him grew even more with his deep sense of frustration.

But this situation cannot be left alone. He needed to find a way to attack, while his mind began to fumble about the need for food.

Although maybe the hunger is not as big as the frustration, but he realized how important it is to get food.

But how could he attack the monster while being constantly attacked by the echoing sound of a duck? It's like getting caught up in endless problems, and Ryuu still hasn't found a solution.

"Hmmm... Actually it smells pretty delicious."

Ryuu pondered for a moment, feeling the gaze of the duck monster that kept threatening him. But somehow he smelled the smell of the monster was seductive, but he quickly banished the thought.

With his silent surroundings, he realized that the small animals and birds had become rare due to the presence of the monster.

He decided not to linger and left the place, despite the thought of hiding on top of the available trees.

However, there was a part within him that insisted on ending the threat provided by that duck monster. Stopping the monster was not only about safety, but also about asserting its supremacy and power in the environment it now lives in.

But he realized, killing the monster would not be as easy as he had imagined. Barriers and obstacles will deter him in an attempt to overcome this threat.

Ryuu knew he had to act fast, yet remained vigilant and cautious in each of his steps. Responding to the monster threat was not something that could be ignored just like that.

Ryuu pondered for a moment, looking more closely at the duck monster's body. Apparently, the claws on his feet were quite sharp, yet he observed that only his claws and teeth looked dangerous.

"He was a monster, but only a duck. Must have some weakness, too, right?" he murmured, hoping it was true.
