37. Flameball

Zion walked quickly towards the park behind the academy. His face looked serious with a sharp look. Some curious disciples tried to follow Zion silently. However, Zion's above-average sensitivity made her realize that. He also stopped his steps.

Zion stopped her steps. "Get in to class now and don't go out." Said Zion in a cold and stressed tone of voice.

The disciple disciple who heard that immediately turned around to go towards their class. Somehow they think the person in front of them now is different from the Zion they know and it is better not to play with Zion now.

Zion continued her path, but suddenly she heard an explosion that automatically made her run to that location.

Upon his arrival, Zion was surprised to see a blazing flame burning half of the garden.

The garden that was ten times twelve meters in size was charred with flames. It looks like the dry land is even cracked and some pots are broken and trees are uprooted and burned.

In the corner of the park, there is a round-bodied monster with a horned head with four legs and a long tail full of red thorns filled with fire. His body was black with a line of red lava lines and horns that continued to inflame the flames.

Yep, it was the perpetrator of the destruction of the park. The three-meter-tall monster that looked quite terrifying, Flameball.

"Gee... It looks like it's gonna be a little troublesome..."

Zion pulled out her gun and pointed it at the monster. The sea blue aura gathered together forming a ball at the end of his gun.

"At least I have to put out the fire." Zion. He also shot large water balls into several places in the park.

The realized Flameball immediately shot the fireball from its mouth towards Zion. The young man quickly immediately avoided her.

Wush!!

The monster swung its tail towards Zion. Luckily, he managed to avoid it. However, a great fire raged before him. Honestly, Zion doesn't really like hot temperatures. It makes it hard to concentrate.

"[Meteorite]!!" His exclaim and the stone rocks in the garden floated up and drove swiftly towards the monster. However, the monster's skin was too hard and the temperature that made it difficult to make his skill was not very accurate.

Zion clucked in annoyance. Meanwhile, the monster continued to spout fireball balls at him making Zion continue to run and dodge here and there.

"[Steel net]!!" Steel thread threads sprung up forming a net that instantly caught the monster.

ROARS!!

The monster roars while spitting fire where it makes the temperature increase. The steel thread began to melt and release the monster.

"[NonMagic: ice crystals]" Zion set foot onto the ground and ice crystal crystals sprung up near the monster. The ever-increasing temperature made his ice start to melt. However, Zion quickly added to the cold temperatures that kept the ice afloat.

The sharp ice managed to scratch some parts, but flames raged in the monster's wounds which also regenerated it. Zion who saw her screeched in annoyance.

He can regenerate? How do you defeat the monster?

"[NonMagic: sharp ground]!!" Now sharp ground soil has sprung up to replace the ice that has begun to melt.

Zion traps Flameball's legs with soil that makes it difficult to move. "[NonMagic: the wave sweep]!!" Furthermore, Zion uses her water magic to extinguish the fire in that place which automatically also weakens the monster due to the decreasing heat that became the source of her power.

The roar even reached the school building made the students afraid and curious. There were several disciples trying to find out, including the elemental prince who was also curious. However, they are intercepted by Reon who inevitably makes them return to class.

At least it helped Zion to concentrate more and not have to worry about her abilities being known to others.

However, here else, the monster still had not given up. He rebelled and again spewed fire from his mouth forcing Zion to take more distance so as not to injure him.

The ground began to crack and lava gushed out from within, destroying the sharp ground that had caught the monster's feet.

"It's really troublesome."

Without Zion realizing it, the monster swung its tail that hit Zion in a crushing manner. The young man was thrown a few meters and hit a tree.

"Damn!!" Zion growled in annoyance. He ignored the wound on his arm and directly aimed his gun at the monster. "[NonMagic: ice crystal ball]!!!"

A 3 meter magic circle was formed and a large ice crystal appeared from above the monster.

Looking at the ice crystal with a size large enough on it, the monster tried to escape but, Zion trapped the monster's legs with the ground which made it immobile.

The ice ball suddenly broke into sharp ice crystal that pierced the monster.

Zion smile. This time the attack was successful. Although he was quite exhausted due to the hot temperature which was also his weakness, but at least this time it worked.

Zion leaps onto the monster's head and fires some ice crystals to make sure it's dead.

Sure enough, Zion descended from the top of the monster's head. "Poooh... Finally done, too." He said as he wiped the sweat that flowed from his forehead.

However, he did not realize that the monster was still not really dead. Again the flames on his body regenerated the wounds he received.

'Heart behind you!'

"Akhs... Damnit... I should've confirmed it again..." He said while enduring the pain in his head that was bleeding due to the rubble earlier.

The monster that already looked weak enough tried to stand up and again attacked Zion. Meanwhile, the young man tried to maintain his consciousness which started to fade due to the pain in his body and head.

Come on, does it have to end like this?

"[NonMagic: ice arrows]" He said and a magic circle formed and an ice arrow shot out and pointed at the monster.

The monster spouted fire that melted the ice ice. However, Zion's attack hasn't quite arrived there yet. The stone rock shot back up and hurtled at high speed towards the monster that managed to hit it. His energy that had begun to thin made the monster could not regenerate anymore.

In other words, the monster had already reached its limit.

The monster roars. Zion shot ice at the mouth of the monster that opened and immediately froze his throat making the monster could not make his voice again.

The monster rebelled and continued swinging its tail in all directions and knocked down several trees around it. Zion tries to evade her, but her already weak condition makes it a little difficult and is exposed to the monster's attack.

Again thrown so. And then his consciousness disappeared.

BLAM!!

There was an explosive sound from the monster that was crazed by making lava gush from within the ground directed at Zion.

The explosion happened again and the dust flew off. However, as the dust begins to dissipate, an ice dome appears there that begins to melt revealing a young man with light blue irises who protects Zion.

It was Ice that could somehow be there.

Didn't Reon already make a protector and forbid all disciples from getting close? How could Ice be there?

"Zion's? You okay? Zion!" Ice asked in panic. However, the young man did not respond. Ice who saw the wound on Zion's forehead instantly used her magic to freeze the wound. At least prevent bleeding from continuing.

after which, Ice stared intently at the monster before her. "[Ice magic: ice arrows]!!!"

a light blue magic circle appeared before him and launched an ice arrow at the monster. Not enough to get there, Ice also froze the ground which also made the legs of Flameball stuck there and could not move.

"Where's the gun?" Ice asked while looking for Zion's fallen weapon. After finding it, he immediately directed it at the monster. However, I don't know why his hand shook.

"Why is my hand shaking like this?" Mumbled. However, he looked at the monster. Ice took a breath to calm down. Yet...

"We finish it together."

Someone seemed to be holding his hand. Ice looked at the young man in her arms who was trying to use her magic.

"No, you're still weak." Refuse Ice who looked at Zion worriedly.

"Let me help you..." Said Zion weakly. Ice finally nodded.

A light blue aura was seen entering his pistol which turned him black with a light blue hue and snow white flower pieces.

Ice who saw that was a little surprised. He knew that the aura entering the weapon was his own.

Ice clasped Zion's hand. " [NonMagic: ice shots] "

An ice ball is formed, but it is much denser and stronger than before and leads directly to the still trapped Flameball. The monster tries to rid itself of the trap Ice created, but in vain.

The attack hit him with a bang and there was a huge explosion. Ice quickly builds an ice shield to protect them.

Moments later, Ice released her protector and breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing the monster had died. This time he really died.

"We made it..." Zion Mumm. Ice who saw that smiled.

"Yes... The monster has lost..." Ice Saying.

"By the way... How did you get here? Hasn't Reon's brother blocked all the way here?"

Ice slightly smiled. "I fell asleep next door. When I woke up, it was a fire and I saw you fighting the monster alone. So I'm helping you." Answer Ice.

Wait, does that mean he's ditching? If only his condition were better, he would definitely take down the name Ice. But falling asleep in situations like this... Whoa... It's amazingly good.

Zion sighed. His head hurt again and his vision blurred. "alright... Thanks..." He said and returned unconscious.

"Zion's? Hey, Zion's up! " Ice panicked when she saw the young man back unconscious. Moreover, his head was flowing blood again. Not only from his head, but blood also flowed from his nose and the corners of his lips.

Ice immediately carried Zion and ran to bring her to the health room.
