#Finally talking to my dad

"I-I'm on vacation with my friends. Please don't be mad." I spoke in a cautious tone as if I was really afraid my father was angry. But I was lying.

"Then why did you use Mr. Rey's phone and why didn't you call me before you left. You embarrassed Dad Seira, because of your departure that day we all failed a meeting with the De Willson group."

I'd love to tell you the truth. But I can't, the De Willson clan is too ruthless and powerful. I'm afraid my family is in danger.

"I'm sorry, Dad. I dare not permit you for fear that you may be angry. And Mr. Rey, he managed to find where I was vacationing with my friends. He forced me to call you."

As I said that, I could see Rey reviewing the smile on her face. Maybe he's happy because I'm good at finding excuses.

"Ah, thank goodness. Mr. Rey is very kind and great. He can find you. Say thanks to him, Seira."

"Yes, Dad."

Thank the man who locked me up? Oh, my God, that's crazy.

Rey took her phone suddenly. "Calm down, your daughter's under my men's watch. He'll be safe on vacation with his friends. They want to go to my island, so for a few days you can't reach him because there won't be a signal there."

"Gosh, he's so embarrassing. It's been a hassle and now you want to go to your island, sir. I'm really sorry, I had to educate her even harder."

I was really upset to hear Rey say. And it's more upset to hear my dad apologise when he doesn't know what's really going on.

"No need to be too hard, like this is enough" Rey said as she looked at me with a wry smile.

"Master, I promise to compensate you if any facility is damaged by my daughter."

"Look easy. I have other business, Seira and her friends have to leave. May your wife recover."

"Yes Sir. Thanks."

The call ended.

"You happy?" he said while ruffling my hair.

"You shouldn't have said I went to the island and there was no signal there. You don't seem to like me communicating with my own family."

"It's not so, Seira. I need more time with you for us to get to know each other. So, you should talk to me more than anyone else. Including your own family."

"Is talking to you really important?"

"Of course, I don't know much about you. Tell me about your life, your hobby, your favorite food and all of you, Seira." (Tell me about your life, your hobbies, your favorite food and everything about you, Seira)

"I don't want to talk to you much, sir!"

"Fighting with you like this is so much fun actually, Seira. Because I like your voice." (Because I like your voice)

I put my fingers in my hair, pressed my head that was about to explode from hearing Rey's words. I breathed with anger. He likes to hear my voice and I hate his voice.

"I want to rest now."

"How come you're not like an undead. You're sleeping too much but it's hard to eat, Seira."

How times? How many times do I have to explain to him if he's the one who made me like this. I often sleep because I don't want to see his face.

"I'll eat later. Now, I want to rest," I said with the anger that felt tight in the chest.

"alright. I'll wake you up in an hour, you can only sleep for an hour. Don't take too long."

I just nodded because I didn't want to argue anymore. He finally came out of the room.

I lay myself in bed again, the only place that would be so comfortable if Rey wasn't around me.

I'm not talking nonsense, I'm actually sleeping. An hour like five minutes, Rey had gone back to the room and woke me up she was forcing me to eat.

I woke up, but didn't go straight to the dinner table. I was outside the ship, watching the waves and letting my hair move in the wind, slightly bending over by holding the fence of the ship. I just kept quiet with the occasional red apple in my hand.

"Seira, the food is ready."

Rey approached me. I just looked back for a moment.

"Wait until my apple runs out."

"okay."

She was beside me, watching my face from the side while I still turned my gaze to the ocean.

"Silf ..."

I looked at her face when she called me.

"You know, Borbone's a puppy's name."

I stopped chewing with round eyes. Is he insulting my name? And how dare he equate my name with a puppy.

"Whatchu mean? You insulted me!"

Rey laughs. "I'm serious Seira. When I read your family's company name, I thought of a puppy."

I clucked, gave the apple in my hand to him violently and went inside. He followed my steps and I could still hear his laughter.

One thing that makes this big ship feel lonely. I've never spoken to anyone on this ship but Rey. I don't talk to his men, I don't talk to his servants, nor do I talk to the cooks who cook on this ship.

Not just because Rey forbade me from talking to the others. But they are not all good at English, they speak Mandarin, Spanish and French.

I obviously don't understand their language. So when we walked past them, we never greeted each other but to throw smiles at each other.

Now, I'm sitting at the dinner table with Rey. A chef was pouring chocolate into one of the cakes.

"¿Es esto suficiente, senor?" (Is this enough, sir?)

Rey raised her arm and made the chef bow for a moment and left us both.

"What did he say?" my many.

"Just ask if the chocolate is enough or not."

"Oh."

I started eating my food. Same with Rey. We were silent with each other's food but every now and then I stared at him.

I wonder if Rey has a sister or not.

"Do you have a sister?" my many.

He looked at me for a moment, took a glass of water, took a sip of it a little and put it back in and wiped his lips with a tissue.

"Have. I have three sisters. Edgar, Edward and Elena. They're the same age as you."

I round my eyes in disbelief. I even think he's a child. It turns out his sister is quite a lot. I wonder how his three younger siblings deal with a crazy brother like him.
