Not only expelled from the neighborhood where she lived because of accusations as a comfort woman, Giany also lost the figure of a mother who had been the place to lean. The mother had a heart attack after finding out that her daughter was pregnant without a husband. 

Luckily one of his relatives was willing to help hold Desta accountable. So inevitably, the Desta family finally agreed to marry their Desta to cover up the family's disgrace.

"You set me up that night, didn't you?"

"No, Mas. I didn't do anything!"

"Now there are many reasons for you! You know, because of you, my relationship with Aluna is broken. Now get out of my room, I'm sick of seeing your face!" 

While holding back tears, Giany picked up the broken glass that was scattered due to being thrown by Desta. 

After work, she intended to bring her husband a cup of warm tea. However, instead of thanking him, Desta was angry and scolded Giany. He did not even care even though in the womb Giany there is a prospective child, his own flesh and blood. 

It feels hard for Giany to live life as he is now. There's no place to lean anymore. Desta who was supposed to be the focus of his life did not even consider it at all. Like an outcast wife, Giany only gets a narrow, stuffy back room, which is next to the maid's room. 

A soft pat landed on the shoulder. A middle-aged woman massaged his nape. "What would Giany want to eat? Let auntie prepare. Ma'am Giany has not eaten since morning," said Bibi Sum.

Giany washed his face with water. He sighed deeply, trying to reduce the unpleasant feeling centered in his stomach.

"Nothing, Auntie. I'm not eating anything."

"But Giany is pregnant. If you eat, it will hurt. Poor foetus in the belly of the Mother."

"It's okay, Auntie. I'll just go to the room."

Giany went to the room, laid his body on the bed. A tear ran down the corner of his eye. He wanted to eat his favorite martabak.

But how should it be? Desta who served as a supervisor at a well-known company never even gave him money. It seems to deliberately make Giany live in inner pressure.

This is where Giany is now. In a house that feels like hell. If a pregnant woman out there gets preferential treatment from her husband, then not with Giany. Let alone a little attention, even Desta never just ask what his wife wants.
