It's Wrong If I'm Two

It's Wrong If I'm Two
Chapter 52. Unashamed

"Nobody."

The sound made Kalea blink her eyelids slowly. Not sound. Except the phrase 'no one'' that disturbs his sense of hearing. Like there's something Javas has hidden from him.

When Javas was close, Kalea could see the look of nervous eyes and reluctantly looked into his eyes. Moreover, his position was sitting while Javas was standing, it was very easy to know the male expression before him.

Feeling the aura around that is not good, Kesha said to take a drink. He just reasoned. Her real goal was to avoid the cold war between her brother and the future sister-in-law. He was also convinced that his brother was going berserk because he had shown him a picture of his childhood.

"Hopefully Kalea can be a good handler" muttered Kesha after making it out of her home library room.

While in the room, Kalea threw away her face while catching the movement of Javas sitting beside her, replacing Kesha's position.

There was a rough sigh before a heavy and regretful voice sounded. "Don't misunderstand me first. I know that right now your mind is assuming."

Kalea took a breath. He turned his back on the man behind him. Very upset because Javas does not want to share it with him. He should not force. But his heart said he should ask for an explanation. Say Kalea is like a child. But, he doesn't care about that.

Suddenly, Kalea felt a warm ambush on her back followed by a sturdy hand that coiled around her abdomen. After that, he felt a chin resting on his shoulder.

"I'll explain. Do not misunderstand first and assume if all men are the same," said Javas softly.

Kalea's body is more relaxed when she hears Javas' speech just now. "Say," he answered despite the sulking tone in his speech.

Instead of being upset, Javas just chuckled amusedly. "You're jealous. Oh, it's nice to see you're being burned by jealous flames," the lead that's making Kalea's lips pursed.

"Mas!" upset Kalea with a drawn look. Javas laughed crisply.

"Listen to me. Don't misunderstand and assume for yourself. He was just my childhood friend. He's also married now" Javas explained.

Not wanting to believe it right away, Kalea turned her back to look Javas in the eye - perhaps the man was lying. "Then, why did Mas say that he was a nobody? A good friend will admit his friendship. Not even hiding it," chirped Kalea with squeaky eyes.

"Yes I was wrong. But I did it because I didn't want to make you think much. Again I reiterate, he's just a childhood friend." Javas tries to convince Kalea. But instead of believing, Kalea increasingly looked at Javas with full investigation.

"Relatedly? Just a childhood friend?" ask Kalea while emphasizing her sentence.

Javas' eyeballs move restlessly, signifying tucked away lies there. It might not be? Kalea was quite familiar with the gestures of someone who was talking to her.

Javas sighed. Should he admit all about his past? Not because it hurts to remember. Except because it was no longer important to him.

"She was my girlfriend when I was in high school. Only love monkey. Not like my love for you right now," explained Javas accompanied by sweet but sincere words when saying it.

"Well. Finally admitting as well," upset Kalea while exhaling a rough breath.

"Why lie, Mom? Honest is the most important thing in a relationship," Kalea's scolding with annoyance peaked.

"Otherwise, you're still keeping the picture. Don't tell me if you still have the rest of the cin— flavor"

Cup.

Kalea rubbed her face rough. Talking about the past is always emotional. Kalea shouldn't be angry. Because what Javas did was nothing more than what he did.

In the past, Javas was willing to be the second to save Kalea from a wrong love. "I'm sorry that I was too .. jealous," Kalea said squeaking at the end of the sentence.

There was no objection to the jealousy that Kalea showed. Instead, Javas was happy when the feeling settled in the heart of the woman he loved. That means, Kale really loved her.

"I should be the one apologizing. This misunderstanding starts with me. Don't frown anymore or I'll kiss her" Javas threatened to make Kalea close her mouth with her palm. His eyes were already glaring alert as Javas started to bring the face closer.

Tok to tok.

The sound of knocking behind the door kept Javas away. Both of them looked at the direction of the door whose knob had already been turned from within.

"Are you guys done? Kesha told Mama about you guys. What's a misunderstanding?" mrs Belinda was still standing in the doorway.

Kalea was only able to grimace in embarrassment. It's the first time he's come to Javas' parents' house. However, he had already made a jealous drama.

"Mama don't have to worry. We are both adults. Such a thing will not shake our love" replied Javas dramatically like a poet who was voicing his poem.

Kalea held back her laughter. Javas' attitude was too absurd and did not match his handsome facial line. As for Ms. Belinda, she just shook her head slowly.

"Mama is so impatient to have grandchildren," said Bu Belinda who deviated from the topic of conversation.

"What's the connection, Ma? Don't be rushed. Kalea had to pursue her ideals first," defended Javas so that Kalea would not have to think about it.

"Isn't pursuing ideals after marriage no problem? The problem is, if you keep Kalea locked up in the house constantly and don't let her achieve her dreams." Ms. Belinda looked excited when saying it.

Kalea just wants to be a listener between the talk of Javas and his mother. The jokes of both of them so amaze Kalea to the figure of a mother who loved her son very much. Kalea was eager to build such a relationship in her life. However, this is only a wishful thinking.

"Kaleas? Why are you glassy?" ask Bu Belinda to feel guilty. He was already in front of Kalea while standing bent down to look at the face of his son's lover.

Kalea shakes. "No, Aunt. I was just imagining having a mother like Auntie. Aunty is very attentive to children without any intention of distinguishing."

Belinda smiled meaningfully. "Makanya, quickly marry Javas. Automatically, Aunt will officially be your mama" she said, again alluding to the marriage.

"Ma. How many times have I told you?" remember Javas as patiently as possible.

Not wanting to fuss over marriage, Kalea finally said. "I'll go with Mas Javas, Tan. If Mas Javas isn't ready and wants me to open a business, it doesn't matter. After all, isn't Aunt embarrassed to have a daughter-in-law like me?"
