Naomi's Daydream
That afternoon in the campus cafeteria, Naomi seemed to be moving away from the others.
It was obvious that the girl's face was very tangled.
As we learned in the previous chapter, that Naomi Johnson had been threatened by Duff, it turned out that the threat was not an empty threat. "I'm sorry, Dad. Would you sacrifice your only daughter to form an alliance with the Cliffords? I know what Duff Clifford is like. My whole life will be tormented by it. Is dad the heart?" Naomi asked for sympathy from her father.
Mr. Johnson did not answer. He knew that what his daughter said was true. He is actually the guilty one. He was consumed by Mr. Clifford's seduction and got into the family's trap. "Hey Naomi! Why are you alone and daydreaming here?" Ask a young man who made Naomi's daydreams fall away instantly.
